Food is excellent.service is impecable
Excellent food, service, and location
Very attentive wait staff; delicious food. Really enjoyed the fried artichoke.
Great veggie bar..lots of delicious healthy choices
The food was very good and the establishment had an eccentric New York Flavor but
the service was terrible--Salmon and a Personal Pizza took 30 minutes to arrive
While seeking a restaurant near theaters and Times Square I came across Bond 45 and saw good reviews. We went in prior to our show and had an antipasto plate and a warm lobster salad with drinks and then returned after the show for a slice of their strawberry topped cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. The food was good and we ordered less after reading reviews of huge portions. We did not feel the portions were excessive but, like all restaurants in NYC, the prices are high. The cheesecake looks divine but is not one of the best in NYC. Overall, it's a great option for before a show and appeared to be filled with many locals, always a good sign. We will return as it is challenging finding good restaurants in the theater district.
Very interesting place. The waitress was very attentive and offered recommendations. We over ordered because we wanted to test some many things. Our reservation was ready when we arrived.
We went before a show. Great service awesome food. Love the vegetable plate! Yummy.
This is our 2nd time at this new location. We have eaten here when it was on West 46th Street. We very much enjoy the ambience and friendliness as soon as you enter. One of the managers Jeff is right at the front door as you enter. We couldn’t have gotten a warmer welcome. He welcomes everyone the same way and is very congenial.
Each time we go there our waiter is always on his game. Drinks come before you know it. And then.......
Appetizers, then dinner, then coffee and amazing deserts.
I highly recommend Bond 45 to anyone looking for a wonderful dinner and wonderful atmosphere.
Beth and Jeff Kaplan
Always a great meal here at Bond. I am so happy with it in it's new location. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer with marcona almonds and olives is just wonderful. The handcrafted lasagna is really good - heavy but really good. Love the bar but hard to get a seat (which I guess is good for them).
Awesome food, service and overall atmosphere. We enjoyed everything we selected, the soup, ravioli bolognese, fettuccini bolognese, fettuccini pesto brocolini, meatballs, calamari - everything was delicious.
Were happy to sit downstairs where it was quieter, spacious yet intimate. Will definitely return
Bond 45 had a nice menu but wasn't overly expansive.
Our table was downstairs and the room looked like it could be used for parties with two small bars. The wait staff was very nice and the food was delicious.
The only complaint was all the glassware had to be replaced as the outsides of all the glasses had bumpy residue on them. Not sure if it was dishwasher that is going bad or a bad wash cycle.
I feel like that should have been caught while setting the tables as all the glasses were gritty.
Great service & the food was delicious!
The food was excellent as usual.
We Ordered an antipasto, which did not
arrive until we reminded the waiter after our main course was served and almost finished, that it was brought over. Needless to say we Took this home. When I made the reservation, I noted that we were celebrating a birthday. After the waiter took a desert order, I approached the waiter and told him we were celebrating my friends birthday. He did know we were celebrating a birthday. The waiter brought out the cake we ordered with a sparkler, put it in front of me and said Happy Birthday. I immediately corrected him and told it was the guy next to me. He moved the plate and left.
Excellent experience. Our waiter, Demetrius was phenomenal!
Great ambiance. Good location. A little pricey and our service was a little slow but it was a full house for lunch. We would return when in the City.
That food wad generally good, except there was a very long strand of hair in our calamari platter. They took it away, but never really apologized or replaced it. Ultimately, we weren’t charged for it, but nobody took any steps to make it better. It’s kind of disappointing for the level of service they portray themseles are in. I’ll have to think twice about combing back.
Bond 45 is absolutely wonderful. Food is great but what makes it are the people. Jeff Baskin is absolutely the best! He welcomes his guests and makes the entire evening memorable. We come in from out of town and everyone wants to go to Bond 45 because of how special he makes everyone feel. Thank you for having a team of exceptional people.
We were seated right away and the service was great. The dinner and dessert were delicious. Like any restaurant in New York the tables are too close together anc you feel like your eating with strangers. Aside from that , great restaurant and I would definitely go back for a pre theatre meal.
Service was slow and we had to rush dinner in 20 minutes because there wasn’t enough wait staff. I had been going to original since they opened and never had that problem
Stressful and annoying start to pre theatre dinner.
This was our first visit to the new location. We balked at being seated in the underground dining room, and the maitre d' honored our request for an upstairs banquette even though the restaurant was packed with pre theater diners. Our waiter was wonderful...helpful, kind and friendly especially with our birthday celebrants. Thank you for a fabulous evening.
Excellent food and excellent service!
Since it's reopening, I've had inconsistent experiences at Bond 45. The food is not completely consistent, sometimes delicious, sometimes just alright. It's a great location for pre-theatre dining, but for those prices, one expects a consistent experience.
Waitress was a bit inattentive but food is wonderful. Great location in theatre district. Private party in lower level might have caused stress upstairs for wait staff. We will try it again.
Food tasted very good, quite large portions.
Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Will be back!
Springsteen on Broadway! Great pre-show dinner! Amazing Strip Steak! Appetizers, atmosphere! Get the S’more Pizza for dessert. So much fun. We’ll be back!
My daughter and I were so excited to visit this restaurant bc we heard nice reviews, and it was across from the theater. We were greeted kindly and seated quickly downstairs, which was lovely. Nice atmosphere (interesting lighting, TV screens with scenes of water like we were lake/oceanside), a good cozy but comfortable table for us ladies (bigger guys might feel tight). We waited for a while until someone took our drink order. Then our main waiter showed up and provided a gluten free menu when I asked. Both the regular and GF menus were very limited, but there were a couple of selections for us. I ordered the lobster/avocado salad but was then told they didn't have it. I ended up with a "Marilena" salad (who? Apparently, the owner's wife), which had pomegranate and chicken (the chicken was not all that tasty; felt kind of "old"; not as fresh as I would have expected). We shared a burrata which was excellent. The freshest tomatoes and basil; really delicious. Ma daughter had the steak which she said was "good". The second glass of wine was forgotten, as was the dessert. The bill was provided before we received dessert. The waiter was apologetic but we are pretty easy diners, no high-maintenance requests, and it seemed he just couldn't get it right. I wasn't impressed. In (our most fave and local) city, which is chock-full of great restaurants with fantastic and professional service, this one fell short. Not likely going back. Won't recommend to others, either.
Service was attentive and friendly when we first arrived but slowed considerably as evening wore in and show time neared. Took over 25 minutes to get coffee and very dry chocolate chip pecan cookie (not recommended). The appetizer and entrees were delicious and the price about what we expected.
Always a great pre-theater option. Food consistently good. Lighter options and full dinners. Has been one of my favorite go-to restaurants in the theater district for years. Never disappoints.
Location is everything and Bond 45 is in the ULTIMATE location. Across from the Hamilton Theater, the massive and popular Times Square Marriott and close to the Shubert Theater, along with a dozen others, you can have a lovely pre-theater meal and not panic about making it to your show on time. The food and service are perfection. Try the antipast plate as a starter. So many wonderful veggies to chose from and then you won't feel guilty about the pasta or entree you are about to embark on. Lunch and dinner, this is the place to be (reservations are highly recommended).
The location is great. The food was very salty. We had difficulties getting the attention of the wait staff.
Solved that we could share an antipasto plate with plenty of food, even had leftover. There were creative choices and very delicious.
Great food, attentive staff. My kids were happy, too! Perfect spot for pre theatre dining.
Great pre-theater dining in Theater District -- and not what you'd run into every day!
Tables a little close to each other and place was very busy but didn't give you the feeling of being rushed!
We just had meals and no dessert -- reasonably priced and very good!
Slow service- we arrived before any other patrons. Extremely salty food from the starters to the main courses- everyone’s food was over salted. Expensive for what we received. Would not recommend.
Food is really. It that good. The famed chicken Parmesan was cold and soggy.
The burrata was also not very good. Lacked texture. Just goop.
