NOW featuring a Weekend Breakfast Buffet Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM
I’m sorry but was expecting a nice meal. But it was nothing to talk about :-( my main was very small and cold and my partners was a dry salad.
Beer was flat and was on a table right in the busy area. Ruined out valentines night !
Staff was outstanding and food was very good. We were taking our kids to theater for the first time and this was a great place for dinner ahead of time.
Cookie dessert was fabulous!!!! Enough for a few people
Open table asked if there was a special occasion I told them it was a birthday, Bond 45 never acknowledged that, what was the purpose of asking if you do not communicate
We were a group of seven for an early 11:00 lunch as we had an early matinee to attend. It was our first visit to this restaurant being recommended by a friend of mine. Two of our group ordered the prix fixe lunch, both having the ceasar's salad and the spaghetti and meatballs. It was outrageously good, but neither of us could finish. The others were pleased with their meals. We'll definitely be returning!
You always treat us like family! We love coming here either before or after theatre, or if we’re in the neighborhood and fancy a drink. Service is quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is most convivial.
Bond 45 was the perfect pre-theater spot. I enjoyed it so much, I would go back even if I wasn't going to a Show. The service was excellent. The management was excellent. I was treated like a celebrity, or at least like a regular. Great spot.
The best waiter ever. The best of everything you could want with dinner.
The lasagna was absolutely out of this world!
As always food is always very good and always consistent
You can’t go wrong.
Terrible. Staff had attitude service terrible. Only one nice guy in the entire restaurant.
I brought 3 friends, first time diners at Bond 45 and not one of us was disappointed. Our server was very attentive and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and plan on returning soon!
Great spot before 3 o'clock show! My parents are vegetarian, I'm vegan, and my boyfriend eats meat and there was something for each of us. The vegetables were amazing and the bread was delicious! A little bit noisy, but we were there at peak lunch hour. As with anything in the theater district, expect it to be a little bit more expensive, even by NYC standards. Our bill for four was $130 with tip.
We were well rceived by the Maitre d. Our table was waiting. The service was great. The food was very good and beautifully presented. The waiter, Leon, was wondeerful as were all of the waitstaff. We were not rushed in the least and it was appreciated. I highly recommend this for theater goers or just general diners.
Great pre theater place.
Only complaint this time was the table we got was constantly being blasted by cold air whenever the front door was opened
Otherwise...everything was great and remains my new favorite
Dinner with friends
great theatre district option...beautiful space, quick and great service, delicious food and drinks!
Unfortunately I can't remember the name of my waiter, but he was fantastic, one of the best I have ever encountered. His attentiveness, smile and attitude were contagious. Thank you.
I love this restaurant. The service is great and the food is amazing. They have lots of gluten free options and the ambiance is really wonderful. Perfect for a day on Broadway!
Ambiance and food were great. Italian Wedding Soup was the best I've ever had. Service was a bit scattered with the waiter needing to be managed vs. mindfully watching and considering our needs. Serving of drinks and coffee didn't match well with food presentation.
Great food, most notably the orchiette pesto pasta, amazing!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was all ruined when we used the unisex bathroom. We had 4 women in our party and using the bathroom put a damper on our experience at Bond 45. The toilet seats had droplets on them and the floor in front of the bowl was wet and sticky. Big YUCK
We arrived and were seated promptly for our reservation. I was surprised to find out that only the limited brunch menu was available, and even not all of that was ready. We had seen items on the lunch menu, but when we asked, we were told that only the brunch menu was being served. When I asked about the vegetarian antipasto choices we were told that only some were available, and others would not be ready for at least half an hour. I quickly had to make choices that were not optimal, and once the food arrived the squash lasagna was cold, and disappointing. The eggplant was tasty, and the third item was so unremarkable that I can't remember what it was. This was not our first visit to Bond 45, but I do not know how quick I will be to return.
We had a reservation for 10:30 and we arrived on time and was seated immediately. No one came to our table until 10:50 after I had to ask for a server. We wanted the breakfast buffet, but unfortunately there wasn’t much to pick from and it was cleaned up at 11:00 right on the dot. It is advertised from 7:30 to 11:30 and I would have expected it would have been refilled and available for folks coming in at 10:30.
Seated downstairs - very tacky interior - photos more appropriate for a men’s club. Poor advice from waitress on meal choices and portions. Four just about edible. Did not enjoy the experience and way overpriced for wanting it was
always best to be asked to sit upstairs .. our waiter was very experienced and kept an eye on us all night
Service was notably gracious attentive and yet not overbearing. I did not expect it to be this good in a place that attracts a lot of tourists or out of towners going to a show. Top restaurants don’t have service this good from the time we entered to the time we left.
Roasted veggies , a specialty , were ok but not great. Pasta was middling. Fettuccine cling together and a bit under cooked ( not al dente but raw). Cocktails were excellent. Good wine selection by the glass. I always avoid this part of town for the tourists traps around but I will definitely be back here and recommend it to others.
It was very hectic when we walked in, but we were eventually seated downstairs in the lounge which ended up being very nice for ambience. Our server did not introduce himself, just stood there looking so I had to start the conversation and ask for waters and wine. The food was so delicious!! And the rosè we ordered was so good. We would definitely recommend.
Great location, nice food and service. The thin crust pizza is great. Also try the fried olives!
The lasagna was excellent as recommended by our server.
A nice pre-theatre restaurant with very good front of house. Prefer to sit downstairs which is more intimate. Great bar for drinks both up and downstairs. Food is good, not exceptional, but good.
Quick, efficient and friendly service. GREAT flavourful food.
Could have been a 5-Star experience, but one of our dishes was served with cellophane (plastic) wrap under the entire chicken dish, waiter took back and brought replacement dish, which still had pieces of plastic. Never offered any discount. Spent $150 for 2 people.
Tight space. Every time a waiter bus boy or hostess walked past my table I was banged into and it was quite annoying. The table behind me was large and they never bumped into the gentleman behind me. After a while they didn’t even acknowledge that they were doing it anymore.
Ask for a table in the back
All else was great!
Great, food very good
Prime location in the Theatre District that therefore commands a higher menu price.
The service was fast and the food excellent although for us the portions were far too big; both my wife we don't like to be over-faced with food and we would suggest like-minded people request smaller portions or settle with having appetisers. If we venture to NYC again we would certainly visit Bond 45 for the location for pre-theatre dining but we'd probably share a meal next time.
The wine prices are quite hefty but we suppose that is to be expected.
The online App suggested a seating time of 5:30 p.m. for pre-theatre dinner if watching an 8:00 p.m. performance. For two people dining mid-week a duration of 2.5 hrs was not necessary.
chicken parm as good as always. nice new quarters, first visit at new location.
This place is totally sub-par. Spend your money elsewhere.
The food was great: I had the scallops with risotto and my wife had the salmon. Both delicious, and the price was about right, maybe a touch high. But the extra touches really made the experience great: friendly service, complementary champaign before the meal and complementary cookies after (looked like everybody got the champaign, not sure about the cookies, we might have just gotten lucky), and great ambiance. Will definitely return for our next pre-Broadway meal.
Really yummy food! I am a vegetarian and they had DELICIOUS vegetable options! They came around with warm chocolate mini cookies after dinner, which was a nice treat! The waiter was not helpful and rude and had no interest in waiting on us.
