Bond 45 Ratings and Reviews
This was our first visit, everything was incredible. We were seated right at reservation time, wait staff was pleasant and helpful, food and wine selection was impressive. The pasta is all hand made and reminded me of a what we had in Tuscany. I highly recommend the Tordelli.
I used to love the ambiance of the old location on 45th St. On Sunday (Feb 18), we were seated in the middle of a busy walkway that patrons and food servers were crowding (such that we had to pull our plates onto the table to avoid them being swept off); the atmosphere just wasn't as cozy and "old New York" as the 45th St location. The food was OK. Their signature manhattan was not good so I switched to beer. I really miss the old place and don't imagine that I'll be going back to the new location on 46th.
Our first experience at the bar was fantastic! Erin and Alex were great! Also ate lunch at the bar...wonderful experience.
But....tried to make it for breakfast the next morning at 10:30 am and there were obvious staffing issues. Finally got food and meal was cold...had a hockey game to get to so didn’t complain, just ate and ran. Came back after game for bar only, and once again...loved it.
Conclusion....great bar, mediocre for dining in... Eat at the bar!
The food was very good BUT we were not seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time--and we were there for pre-theater. The place was pandemonium and there was no order to the seating process. Then our food took so long to come that we had to rush and eat it in 15 minutes...overall, the night was a disaster. The manager apologized to us and I did appreciate that. I would not recommend this for anyone on a schedule.
Very disappointing experience at Bond 45. We had 6:15 reservations for dinner before an 8:00 show. Ordered dinner at 6:25 and by 7:30 we still did not have our food. The server was dishonest, telling us that our food was being plated at 7:10 but it never came. No one ever addressed us. We had to leave for our show without dinner and no one even noticed. The busser started clearing our bread plates before we were even leaving. Really pathetic experience and sadly upset our evening. Not only will not go back but will tell others about this poor experience. Bad business.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and we all loved our food. I liked that we were not rushed through our meal. My daughter loved your playlist and was hunting for it online this morning. Care to share your secret playlist. She says it will help her clean her room faster!! Bond 45 - help a mom out !!????
We liked this place so much for brunch on our weekend visit to NYC, we went back for dinner! So convenient to Broadway shows and very respectful of curtain times. Dinner was Italian but creative; my friend loved the pounded chicken served breaded with cheese and pepperoni. My pasta was lightly sauced with tons of chicken. Oh! And we came back a third time after our show for dessert and cocktails. Cheesecake was divine and drinks were fresh, nicely crafted and served. The host even walked around with a pan of freshly baked cookies! Our service in the morning was attentive and they let us linger as we planned our day. Both times in the evening, Ermal was our waiter with the perfect blend of efficiency, graciousness and charm. He made us feel like his most important customers- even though he was so busy. We will keep this place on our list for when we return to NY!
The place was great, however our fried mozzarella balls came frozen, not once or twice but 3 times! The waiter however took off both apps from the bill which was great!!! Awesome place for after a show!! Just be careful when you order wine, be specific or else your gonna pay big $$$..... would give it an A....
This restaurant is very large and conveniently located to the theaters. The hostess was very nice as is everyone who works here. The service is good considering the size of the place and the amount of miles the waiters have to cover just to get around. The food is a little heavy but tasty. They know they are in the middle of all the theaters and you are there because you have to get to a show and they make sure you are taken care of.
Hadn’t been to this restaurant before, but it was close to the Theater we were going to, so thought we’d give it a try. So glad we did, great place. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious and service was impeccable. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t been.
We had an early Valentines reservation. We arrived early and were seated right away in a quiet area. We loved the location and enjoyed the filet mignon as well as the salmon! The dessert was also amazing. The prices were reasonable and the gentleman helping us always made sure we were helped!
Very good option for pre-theatre brunch. My omelette was cooked perfectly and my waiter was very knowledgable and helpful about gluten free options. The restaurant is really big and noisy, not usually the kind of atmosphere I like, but if you're going to a show nearby it's probably the best food you'll get.
Beautiful newly opened space ! We missed it while closed and we received a warm welcome back from Caroline. Delicious vegetable platter , French toast and hamburger were our choices. Warm cookies brought table side were an extra treat. Pots and pots of coffee carefully replaced when needed. Looking forward to returning. soon.
