Great service, good food and loved the cozy feeling on the lower level!
Food was amazing. Daughters bday and they were great. I am not cheap but more expensive than I would have thought. Glass of wine was 24.50. Special occasion so I didn’t care overall it was an amazing place for dinner.
What a wonderful dining experience. First off the martinis were the best we’ve ever had. We had to Calamari and the meatballs which were wonderful for a main meal we had the chicken Parmesan which was excellent and the fettuccine Bolognese which was unbelievable. The service was great and our waitress was nice and funny. And their chocolate mousse was awesome. Yes a little pricy but well worth it!!
Cosy atmosphere and excellent service!! Very chill vibe and great cocktails. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or a night out. Calamari and burrata appetizers were very fresh. Seafood and chicken dinners were wonderful. Will definitely go back! Very convenient for theater goers.
This is a fabulous restaurant. I had a delicious pineapple mojito, wonderful Italian Wedding Soup, and homemade ravioli. All was wonderful. My husband had the steak that was so tender, you could cut it with a fork. We had Hamilton tickets (this place is across the street) and made 5:00 reservations. We were in and out within an hour but it was filling up by the time we left. Service was great—very friendly and helpful. I would go again and recommend any friend to go there as well. Perfect location in the Theater District! I RECOMMEND THE PINEAPPLE MOJITO!
Great food Service amazing so convenient for theater!! Must try brunch one day!!
This was our second time at Bond 45 and it was not nearly as good as the first. We had 615 reservations and we were not seated until 635. We ordered and the menu item my daughter requested was no longer available so she had to pick something else. My chicken parm was delivered to the table lukewarm at best. And the place was painfully loud. Not sure we’d like to return.
We had to wait way too long for our table for a 6pm reservation for 12 people in the theater district where people dine before a show. They did a good job once we were seated but it was annoying to have to wait in a crowded and loud bar and not once did anyone apologize or manage the situation. My group that dines three times a month in the theater district will not be back.
It was a fun meal and they always have quality food. Was a little surprised that the veal I got was a la carte and I had to purchase side dishes separately. The restaurant was a little dark lighting wise but the location is prime and the Uber all quality superb!
Always good! Love the wedding soup and salmon. My feeling loved the pepperoni pizza.
Really great pasta and Caesar salad.
Nice space. The appetizer bar looked beautiful. Bland food. Abysmal service. Long wait time for drinks which were less than generous. Meals weren't served together. We were mostly ignored and had to seek out a waiter to order.
We loved our lunch before the Weds matinee. I had a cheeseburger and my friend had a Mariana salad and artichoke pasta. All three dishes were perfectly cooked. My rośe was divine. During lunch the baker brought out a tray of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies which were sensational! The maitre’d ( I think his name is Richard) is unbelievably thoughtful kind and attentive. He made sure we were taken care of during the unusually busy lunch. The Bond 45 exceeded my expectations, it is now my go to place when I’m in the theater district.
Delicious food, but our table designation made it impossible for me to eat without being bumped into by both staff and clients
Great place for a drink and a bite to eat before a Broadway show!!!!
Beautiful space. the lower level was quiet and intimate. Food was, as usual, very good. Service was excellent. Service staff was attentive but not intrusive. Definitely recommend.
Fabulous food! Eggplant was exceptional! Spaghetti with lobster and prawns were also delicious with just the right amount of heat/flavor.
Food was amazing! Definitely recommend
Great food and service
Good food and service. A bit of a wait on our entrees but appetizers came out fairly quickly so it was fine. Fried calamari and short rib meatballs were yummy! Spaghetti carbonara was delicious! And the chocolate mousse was to die for! Would definitely return!
It was good not great. The ambiance was spectacular! My daughter had the chicken parmigiana which was huge and I had the ravioli and it was small. So portion size isn’t great. A few tables had issue the chief was off tonight.
Bond 45 is a great stop. Certainly not a “value play” but the food and service are both fantastic.
Great location in heart of the theatre district!
Food delicious! Service amazing! Highly recommend!
Terrific! Everything was great but particularly the Italian Wedding soup ! Outstanding !
This was a Mothers Day early dinner prior to seeing a show
My wife ordered the colorado lamb chops - they were awful- 50% fat & grizzle
My daughter ordered Chicken Parm - Didn't taste like chicken - we thought it was veal but were assured it was chicken. I doubt it was !
My Veal Chop was excellent
Wine selection rather pricey for the quality they were offering
Choc Fudge Cake outstanding
Service was Outstanding
Unfortunately the food was sub par and ruined the entire experience for us
Great food, very creative menu options. Friendly staff. Only dowside it did take a long time to get my check and pay for it. But if you want delicious food in a great location, this is the place.
Loved the food and drinks here. Can’t wait to come back!
They initially did not find our reservation, but apparently did later. They did not have a table for us in the restaurant so put us downstairs in the bar, which was nearly empty. Yet they put us at a table the was constantly being bumped into by waiters walking by. Much better table were available. Breakfast menu pretty limited.
We’ve never had a bad experience at dinner and never had s good one at brunch! Severs came and went without delivering what was ordered. Had to ask multiple times. And they each seemed confused about what was available on the brunch menu and who was responsible for what. We’ll never go back for breakfast/lunch/brunch again!
After being seated late for our reservation, we explained we had tickets for the theater. They assured us we’d get out in plenty of time. Not only did our meal never come, we were never offered an appetizer or any food to eat during our long wait. There is an appetizer bar with ready to eat food. Instead, we left starving and sat through a show without dinner. There was nothing but an apology offered. Unacceptable.
We’ve been a few times pre theater and it’s usually an enjoyable experience. Last nights dinner however was practically inedible. Way too much salt on everything, and I like my food well seasoned. The calamari was a bit too over cooked. My lasagna, which they are well known for, was very salty and way too much sauce. The noodles were swimming in it. Plus the “meatballs” were so poorly concocted, they couldn’t keep the meatball shape and sauce it was just soppy noodles in a lake of sauce with crumbled ground beef. My husbands chicken Milanese tasted as if the chicken cutlet was fried the day before. It was hard, and had that left over taste. Also incredibly salty. Service was great though.
CRAZY!!!! We chose Bond 45 due to proximity to the Broadway show we were attending. Arrived at bond at 6:15 for a 6:30 reservation. At check in we were told we would be seated on time. Seated us at 6:35 and we immediately explained to our waiter we were attending an 8:00 show. We ordered our dinner with our drinks as we were concerned that Bond seemed a bit overwhelmed. There were 4 of us and only one cup of soup (very good Italian Wedding soup) arrived same time as the drinks (20 minutes)....I hate when that happens...we like drinks first.....so we told the waiter no need to wait on entrees...bring them as soon as ready. Not sure he paid attention but clearly didn’t pass that message along. You know where this is going by now....at 7:25 I went to the the captain to complain....he disappeared (presumedly to check on my order) but I never saw him again.
Now the Punch Line.....at 7:35 the waiter brings out a pizza and proudly explains this is on the house. We thank him (perhaps a bit of sarcasm), and get up to leave......very hungry, but the show was our reason for being in the City that night. They were kind enough to comp us on the drinks (more sarcasm).
No apologies from the captain....too busy hiding I guess.
We booked here before a Broadway show. It was a block from our theater, so perfect timing with a 5:45 reservation to get to our 8:00 show. The food was great! Moderate portion sizes, depending what you order. My boyfriend has the veal parm which was massive!!! I had a strip steak, asked for medium rare and it was certainly medium. A great pick for a fun atmosphere and proximity to theaters.
Good food. Good service. Good experience!
Our food and service was perfect. Our second visit here. Definitely recommend!!!
Food was fresh and tasted great. Server was very nice.
Bond 45 was good for a pre-theater dinner but very expensive. $200 for two. App, main course, and a glass of wine each. Food was good just sticker shock at bill. But very convenient location to theater.
Food was delicious! The service was wonderful! I am looking forward to coming back!!
