The plate my salad was served on was old and chipped. We waited for over an hour for our food. In the end they comped the dessert which was nice. Food was not great and server seemed very very busy as was the hostess who took a long time to seat us.
We came here before our show started nearby only about an hour later, and we definitely chose the right place! My boyfriend was running late, but I was able to put in the order to a very understanding waiter, and the food came out promptly and was delicious. We ordered the gooey margherita pizza and an amazing salad with chicken, pomegranate seeds, and pecorino cheese. It was a high quality restaurant and wonderful start to the night. Would definitely recommend!
Wonderful food, great wait staff, beautiful ambiance.
Loved the food . The ambience was fabulous and our waiter was so nice!!
We had a family dinner before seeing Hamilton across the street. He food and service was excellent. We had been to the original location. This was very good.
Love the new location and the food is just as delicious.
Servise was a little off. Clearing dinner plates before everyone was finished. Had to ask numerous times for bread and bread plates. Minor things. We will be back though! Food and ambiance were excellent as usual and we were greeted warmly at the door.
Delicious! Great pre-show meal. Super tasty and reasonably priced.
Don’t let the flashy sign fool you. Bond 45 is an exceptional Italian spot in the heart of the theatre district. Walking through the front doors you are greeted by an awesome display of colorful and creatively cooked and displayed vegetable dishes that can be ordered as an appetizer, entree or a side. My son and daughter and I made a Open Table reservation here for dinner after a matinee of Hamilton across the street. Everything was great - menu choices, ambiance, wait staff and of the course the food. Would definitely put this on my short list while in the theatre district/Times Square area.
Our waiter was excellent and so nice, as was everyone working there. And the food is delicious! Easy eat before or after theatre
Sat downstairs, lovely room, quiet. Wine prices are high. Food was good. Loved the salads and chicken parmigiana with pepperoni. Waiter was efficient. One thing I can’t understand is how they charge $5.50 for a fountain soda?
Food was delicious. Waiter was outstanding. We were able to eat with plenty of time to spare to get to our matinee. Would definitely return.
Pre-Show Dinner. Italian food good and service was very good.
We had a large group of 7 and had a nice time at Bond 45. I was looking for a slightly more reasonable Times Square area restaurant (some of the theater district restaurants are exorbitantly overpriced!) that had options both for adults and 10 year olds, both meat and vegetarian. This fit the bill. My scallop scampi with risotto was great, and the family style calamari and Caesar salad were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal, whether it was veal chop parmigiana, Milanese, pasta or Branzino. The portions are very large. The wine was good as well. Table service was attentive even if the kitchen was a bit slow (we had to check on our entrees because of a curtain time) but ultimately we got in and out no issue. My only real complaint is that when I arrived, there was no host there to seat me, and the restaurant is so large I could not easily see my party (they were in fact downstairs). There was a woman standing next to the host stand and asked if I was checking a coat (no) and otherwise she directed me to an actual LINE of people waiting to check in with the host. Are you kidding me? By the time I got to the front of "the line" I had been waiting more than 5 minutes to be seated with the rest of my party who had arrived earlier. And by the time I was checked in there was a longer line straight out the door, just to check in or see the host. I was furious when I was finally seated. Such a large restaurant with a big pre-theater crowd should not have a woman standing there doing nothing, ignoring customers who just need to know where their party already is.
I had frequented the prior location on 45th St and really loved that place.
The food and service seem to be inattentive, for example it took a long time to get bread and our food, even drinks were slow.
Quality of food and presentation was not the same either, we ordered 5 vegetable platter and the presentation was awful and not appetizing at all.
Absolutely fantastic food. Great, superb service. Wonderful!!
I loved the food and the service Robin our waiter was aamasing
Always good and great theatre district location. The buratta appetizer is outstanding, as is the caesar salad. Lasagne is tasty. Bond 45 has a particularly delicious cheesecake, made with buratta. Service is very professional.
One of my new favorites in NY. I will be going back
We had a reservation and were promptly seated. Our Server arrived shortly thereafter and took our drink order. Shortly thereafter he re-attended and took our appetizer order. A short time later our appetizers arrived, but no drinks. He subsequently asked how the appetizers were, at which time we mentioned that our drinks had not arrived. He apologized and said that he would immediately look into it. We finished our appetizers and our mains then arrived. Still, no drinks! We mentioned it to the food runner, to no avail. Again, our Server subsequently attended and asked how the mains were, at which time we mentioned that our drinks had still not arrived. Midway through dinner our drinks did arrive. .. late, putting a damper on a relaxing night out. The food and atmosphere were excellent. We were in no rush, enjoying dinner out. However, the service was definitely sub-par. We would still recommend this restaurant for dinner.
