NOW featuring a Weekend Breakfast Buffet Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM
We got served a partial dinner almost an hour After ordering notwithstanding that we told the waiter we had a play to get to. They brought two of the three meals we ordered. The food was lukewarm and the third dish came almost when we were done. My husband talked to the manager and told him the service was disgraceful. To the manager!s credit, he did not charge us for our main courses. Still, a very disappointing experience.
Everyone was friendly and everything was very good. I know that they hurry to get the food out because of the many Broadway plays that people are trying to get to but I did tell them that I was not in a hurry and yet everything came out too fast
Food was good - reasonable pricing for city. Downstairs seating is a little nicer than upstairs. Our waiter was good - service quick and attentive especially for a busy place. My only real complaint is the table for 2 is way too small and crowded. It was uncomfortable and awkward - my seat was in the way of waiters getting around me and the table was invariably cramped -
Always a lovely dining experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly, amiable, cheerful - which makes the meal even more wonderful!
Nine of us had a delightful time and a wonderful meal. We will be visiting again very soon. Great prices and great service. I highly recommend.
The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent!
The service was terrible
Great place for dinner before a Broadway show
Been going to Bond 45 for years. Always had wonderful service, wonderful food. Perfect!
Portions were too small and too expensive. The server was not very attentive. The noise level was too high to carry on a normal conversation.
Spectacular staff. Great food. Beautiful ambiance.
Bond has become one of our go to restaurants while in Manhattan. We prefer the breakfast (we always seem to miss the buffet) but the entrees from the menu are excellent and keep us coming back, and the service is usually great. Tonight, we had dinner here for the first time before going to a show. The service was a little off. The appetizers were decent. We had the burrata caprese, fried olives, artichokes, and calamari and all were pretty good. My wife and one of our friends ad the chicken Alfredo which was good but not great, and I had the dover sole which was pretty good. Our other friend had the chicken parm which was also good but not great.
Tip, go for breakfast, you won’t be disappointed.
Loved it except for the chicken parmigiana...it was like a ground patty not a breast. Would definitely go back but not order that...my son’s salmon was delicious!
Great place to eat before seeing a show. Food was awesome great service A+++
The food was really good - we had the Calamari appetizer and the Salmon entree. Both very good. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the buratta that accompanied the Salmon was out of this world good. Definitely recommend this place. And, the cappucino was very good.
We love Fireman restaurants and Bond 45 is no exception. Fun drinks, delicious food, friendly service. Highly recommended!
Compared to their sister eateries: Trattoria Dell Arte, Redeye Grill, Fiorello, the food at Bond 45 lags behind. Two of my guests ordered steaks and, they weren't probably cooked. The rib eye steak was thinly cut and overcooked. The ratio of french fries to filet mignon was quite disproportionate. The prices are steakhouse prices but not steakhouse quality. My chicken cutlet parmigiana was delicious! If you're an out of town guest, in need of a theater adjacent restaurant, then this fits the bill; stick to the pasta, pizza, Italian food.
We came for lunch and our server got three of our four orders wrong. The server and host argued with us. By the time we straightened things out and got what we asked for, we were late for our matinee.
Good quality food. Nice gentleman Host and nicer waiter.
Food was ok for the price, wine list was expansive and affordable. Great location near Times Square. Service was good.
The food is not worth how much money you have to spend on it. I ordered a ribeye steak that was $42 and the entire thing was gristle and it hardly had any seasoning/flavor. I could have gone to Applebee’s and got a better tasting steak for half the price.
Our server was super nice but slow. Took him approx. 20-25 to bring our drinks. Food was much better than expected. We were a party of 4 and pleasantly surprised.
Excellent service food was
Good meal. Service and ambiance fine. Very convenient to theater.
Just simply the best carbonara....
We had reservations and were seated right away after waiting 5 min to check in with hostess. Food was excellent and service was excellent. I thought the dinner portions were a little on the small side, but excellent! Had brunch there previously and that was excellent. Decent portions for the price.
Good choice for pre theatre dining.
Food was excellent. Service a bit slow. Great location for pre & post theater meals.
Not all the orders came exactly right but it all worked out...
My husband is allergic to apples and we were not informed in advance that the Brussels sprouts and mixed vegetables contained fruit. It was not in the menu either. The waiter did take the cost of my husband’s meal off the bill. But you should inform your customers.
Food was excellent and our hostess was incredible! She was adorable and when I complimented her she gave us free champagne! Such a pleasure!
Great preheated dinner. Prompt attentive service. Great choices
In the middle of our dinner the air conditioning vent above us started to leak into our drink. We asked to change seats. Although they were accommodating, we really expected that they would at least comp a desert, but no one ever apologized for the inconvenience.
Convenient but not that great. Omelet and chips were so so.
My friends and dined here after a show.
Great menu selection. Something for everyone..... The pizza is superb. Very thin crust and very tasty. Diverse wine list ( a bit expensive) Great service from our server. Nice ambiance. Will definitely be back!
The place is gorgeous. I’d recommend it for cocktails and maybe an appetizer. However, it’s quite over priced and the menu is inflexible- or perhaps it was our waiter’s interpretation. We asked for the scallops and risotto with arugula with potatoes instead of risotto. We were told the price would be the same and then we would face an additional charge for the potatoes. This does not seem appropriate or good customer service. My pasta was gluten free and fine- but there was confusion about the type of gluten free pasta. Perhaps or waiter was new or was having trouble understanding us.
My mom did say that the scallops were fantastic!
We had a 5:00 pm reservation for dinner Tuesday night. We were going to see Hamilton at 7:00 for our granddaughters eight grade graduation. We got there just before 6 & were told our table is downstairs. There were quite a number of empty tables on the main floor. I have a bad knee & my husband asked why we
Weren’t able to have a table on this floor. We were told because we were 3 people & the 1st floor only had tables for 4 or more we would have to take a table for
3 downstairs. Again we mentioned I had a bad knee. He didn’t even mention the elevator they had in the back of the restaurant , my husband had to ask him.
When the woman & I who was taking us to the elevator saw how many empty tables there were also in the back of the restaurants she when back to the manager to talk to him again. He would not let us sit up stairs. If we thought we would have been able to get into another restaurant we would have left.
We get out of the elevator downstairs & the table we got for 3 was really a little bit bigger than a table for 2. Three women were seated at the table next to us & they were not happy either. Just couldn’t wait to get out of their. When we were finished we took the elevator upstairs & saw tables for 4 with 3 & 2 people at them. We passed the manager, who obviously doesn’t have a nice bone in his body or his brain, gave me a look as if to say too bad. Needless to say I will not
Be back at Bond 45 and I will tell all my friends not to go either.
I sat at the bar for dinner before The Barry Manilow Concert; service at the bar was great these were not that. I ended up getting the little carafe of the Super Tuscan which again, was very good but not what it should be for $25.50. A bit of a rip off in my book. My bill was $160.00 without the tip & really felt a bit jipped. The scallops were delicious but at $10.00 a piece there should have been a few more to compensate for the price. Burrata was fresh & very good. Don’t think I would go back the next time I need a restaurant in the Theatre District, I m sorry to say.
Sorry. I think this restaurant tries, but the food is just not that great for the price. There are many other similarly priced restaurants in the neighborhood that have better food.
Food is outstanding and you can't beat the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at the end of your meal.
