Excellent libations before dinner mixed by Brian, of the Brian & Brian team. Outstanding meal, I highly recommend the veal parm! Our server, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions to our party. We plan to return during our next visit to NYC.
Service was a little slow, but food was fantastic
Food was very good Service could have been better. Waited a while for the food while the table next to us who were seated after us, got served befoer we did.
I’ve been here before and Bond45 NEVER disappoints!!!
Cute place! Split a pepperoni pizza with my teen and was plenty. Nice place to have dinner before our play and a short walk to the August Wilson theatre.
Great food and service. Beautiful dining room great location for seeing Hamilton
It was closed to a private event!!! Nobody told us and we went there for post theater dinner and were told that they were having a closed event! :(
Well situated for our after matinee dinner in the Theater Dist. (Across he street from Hamilton!) Suitable for casual to semi-formal dinners and large gatherings plus family friendly by the crowd we experienced. The food is accessible and familiar, American-Italian with some touches of french cuisine and american classics. I think they make their name on the over-the-top desserts. The wine list was Italian forward and adequate...appropriate for the level of food. We were treated very nicely by the staff as we were celebrating a special occasion. This may not sound like a stellar review but I think fair and I'll add that I would certainly dine there again.
The food is crazy overpriced and crazy under-seasoned (like it had absolutely no flavor - I don't know if there was a salt shortage or they just don't care.) If the food was good, I would have no issues paying the prices we did but it was poor quality and poorly prepared. The waiter was fine but very clearly did not want to be there and didn't really care if we enjoyed ourselves or the food. Also spotted a waiter wiping his nose in the dining room without taking any remedial action afterwards (washing his hands, hand sanitizer, etc.) The only high point was the bus boy who was excellent and did most of the waiter's job for him.
Everything was fantastic except the chicken parmigiana. That meal (1 of 8) was not edible. No flavor.
Service was great. Ambiance wonderful.
The food was good but we sat 40 minutes before even getting bread and at 7pm - we reminded the restaurant that we had a eight o’clock curtain. The manager assured us that they had mAny other theater goers and not to worry we would have plenty of time to eat. While we were served soon after- we did not have time for desert and coffee not truly a relaxing meal. Since we booked a 6:15 reservation for an eight o’clock curtain I do t feel as if this should have been an issue. The food was good and portions are easily split.
Perfect for pre-theater, very good food, prompt (mostly) smooth service, reasonably priced.
The food and ambiance were wonderful, as always. Our server was a bit slower than usual but we weren't in a hurry. We were also pleasantly surprised when another server showed up at our table with complimentary chocolate chip cookies, fresh out of the oven.
I always recommend Bond 45 to Broadway bound friends.
Was nice. Food was good. But main course portions were small for price. Otherwise would definitely recommend. Also I would not discourage people from going.
Perfect for pretheater lunch
Service extremely attentive, beautiful setting, great location. Breakfast buffet needed a few little touches...was just okay....maybe bottomless mimosas, or flights of mimosas, not sure- I am a coffee drinker, but in a city of entertainment- the buffet needed something flashy, trendy, etc.
Of the chicken choices all were fried but one.
The waiter was good but busy and not as attentive as possible.
Prices were high for the quality of the food.
The dining room was spacious and had a great vibe.
Great location right across from Hamilton. I had read that they had more gluten free options than they did. Really only had seafood or steak available gluten free- no pasta. The chicken picata was a disappointment. Veggie bar not worth the money for a few asparagus and beets. Super cute downstairs tho, staff very nice and efficient. The chocolate mousse was AMAZING and the cheesecake equally divine Just a lot of money for an ok meal. ($350 for 2 adults and 1 teenager). Location is great tho
Service was fine. Food was overpriced & did not have much flavor. You are paying said prices because the restaurant is in Times Square. The presentations of the food & menu options, I could have made all of the dishes ordered by my party at home for 1/3 of the price of our total bill & we spent well over $200. First time going to this restaurant despite one being close to where I live. Doubt I’ll ever suggest going to the one locally. I wasn’t impressed. I’d go to Outback or Cheesecake Factory before going here if I’m looking for similar menu options, if not better. Also, the decor & seating made me feel like they were in a rush to open the restaurant or we’re running low on funds so they purchased the cliché wedding chairs that you see in the movies lol.
I would recommend Bond 45 - excellent food and great service!
The food is excellent as always. One of our favorite places to dine when we go to the theater. My husband and I have gone many times. Took my daughter this time, her first. Service started out great as usual but we let the server know we had a 7pm show and it was 5:30. We wanted to be done by 6:30. She said absolutely no problem. It took 1/2 hour to get appetizers, which were all cold dishes. Then waited another 25 minutes for a crabmeat salad main course to share. When we hardened received dish at 6:20 and mentioned to the server we wanted to be done in next few minutes, she asked where our theater was. It didn’t matter... we told her we wanted to be out by 6:30 and she assured us no problem the. Seemed annoyed that we were not pleased with the delivery of food.
As usual, Bond 45 is my go-to Italian restaurant. The food and service are impeccable and it is such a pretty gem in the heart of Times Square.
better than last time
But
not what it once was
sad
Great spot - good Italian food.
The food was absolutely diner level. I had the roasted chicken and my friend had the Chicken Parm. both very dry. Sloppy presentation. Also we had a side order of Pasta with Marinara which was extremely boring - like out of a jar.
Appetizers had the Proscuitto and Burrata plate - really terrible burrata, more like cottage cheese, and two small slices of the Proscuitto.
We used to go to the older Bond 45 and it used to be great, but for whatever reason this
place needs attention.
I will not be going back.
Love going there ! Food is excellent! Great location!
Great place for breakfast. Delicious food and atmosphere in a traditional American Diner type setting. Highly recommend.
Incredible evening out with friends! Excellent food, service and environment.
Always great food and always terrific service. Fireman hospitality knows the restaurant business better than most!
They made every effort to make sure we had a fun meal before a show. The little touches (warm cookies, glass of champagne for my wife’s birthday ) make a huge difference!
Birthday, excellent service and constantly great food.
Service was unusually slow
This was my cousins 75th birthday. Wanted to share the Bond 45 experience as I have been there many times from South Carolina. It was great with the exception of the tables being entirely too close together on the main floor. Seems we were ducking and leaning forward to afford waiters and other customers to get by.
Food was average. We arrived to an empty restaurant, early for our reservation, and were seated right away. Burrata appetizer was delicious. Chicken piccata was just ok-very, very greasy. We were eating and even with the fork in hand they kept asking if we were finished. That was completely annoying considering at that point it was only 40 min into the meal. When you see people eating NO they are NOT finished. Finally we were just over it and left.
There are many other restaurants in this area. Some much better than this.
A great pre-theater spot - great location and enough menu choices to please everyone. Good wine list. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Reservations essential during prime time.
Good atmosphere! Wanted to love it, but only liked it. Food was delicious but the portions were small, especially for the price. Service was good. Very considerate of people with play tickets.
By far one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Cold over cooked scallops under cooked risotto and unrecognizable chicken piccata . And something on the menu they tried to pass of as Burrata.
Average in a about everything. They are relying on Gaylord to have constant customers
Bond45 is my favorite restaurant in Manhattan. Food is outstanding, with a great, diverse menu. Tons of vegetarian and healthy choices. Service is outstanding - very accommodating.
Great ambience. We ate downstairs Food very good.great service
