Staff were very helpful and our waiter went out of his way to get breakfast tea. Buffet was enjoyed by the whole party and would recommend this place.
Poor service. Seated on time. Waited 30 min to get drinks. Ordered appetizers and main course. Asked for apps 3 times over another 30 minutes. After about an hour of sitting Main dishes were delivered but appetizers never showed up. No one apologized or even tried to rectify just asked if they should cancel the appetizers. Ended up bringing them as we were half way through our main course. No apologies whatsoever. Mistakes can happen and that’s ok but making a mistake and not trying to do anything to rectify it is not.
Food was amazing, atmosphere was great but after we placed our drink order we never saw our server again...anywhere! It was like his shift was over in the middle of the dinner rush?!? We had 1 person deliver our drinks, another our food...sat there for 30 minutes until a manger cleared our plate and we asked him if we could get a cheesecake, and had to ask a different server for our bill! Unfortunately a great place but left a bad taste in our mouth!
My friends 50th
Crowded and noisy
My chicken Parm was cold
Service was good but basically expensive and unflattering for what it was
Used to love this place. However, on this night they were off their game. Service was very slow despite not being overly crowded. Food was just ok. Portions were very small for the price. Approach with caution.
I love this restaurant, Especially the downstairs where it is warmer and cozier. The service was great and the food was excellent. There was a big party going on so it was very loud and a little difficult to hear at times when sitting with a large party of people but I will keep going back! Love it!
Very noisy. Easy chairs with portable cushions were cumbersome and too low. "Super Tuscan" wine by the glass was swill. While appetizer of sauteed artichokes was ok, could have used more olive oil and certainly didn't fulfill representation that appetizers would feed 3-4 people. Entrees were quite good and service was outstanding.
Great consistent staff and food. Have been going to Bond 45 for many years when we visit Manhattan.
Upon checking in, the unpleasant hostess was insistent we didn’t have a reservation despite me having an open table confirmation. We went to have a drink at the bar and a short time later a table for two became available and we were seated. We ordered Pellegrino which we did not get but another server brought us waters. The table was not level but the server quickly and kindly corrected it. The menu had a very good variety of dishes. My husband enjoyed a homemade pasta dish and I had a delicious selection of anti pasta from the anti pasta bar. This restaurant is visually appealing but tables (as we found often in NYC) are really tight so it gets quite loud. The food was good and the service was reasonably attentive once we were seated.
Service was amazing. And the food was so good. Perfect ore show dinner.
They surprised us the champagne for our 20th Anniversary dinner and special seating was wonderful
A friend and I ate at pre-theatre lunch this week. The food was really delicious. The fried artichokes are yummy, as is the chicken parmigiana. I would definitely go back there.
We enjoyed our lunch but liked last month better. We preferred sitting upstairs on the main level. It is more comfortable and we liked it better.
The Pizza & Pasta was very good and I was able to enjoy a nice glass of wine for a fair price. Is very close to the theaters, so great stop for after or before a play!
Everything was great. We really enjoyed our visit and meal.
This is our third time going to Bond 45. The food and service is always good. It is a good place to have a meal pre theater. We were caught in traffic and Bond 45 kindly held our reservation in spite of having a very busy night.
Pricey & Over rated! Limited menu and fair food. They sat us in a downstairs room and some of the dinners were cold. Only positive- next to our theater. Next time will go to a local pizzeria.
The food speaks for itself- phenomenal. The service was on point but the seating could’ve been much much better. Would still recommend especially if attending a Broadway show.
We had a wonderful experience at Bond 45. The service was impeccable- we loved our server. Made us feel comfortable, made perfect recommendations, and was simply fun.
We had Sunday brunch. The anti pasta bar is amazing. All of the food we ordered was simply delicious. I’ve been coming to Bond 45 for many years and we simply love it here!
Good food (a bit under seasond, but hey there is salt on the table). Nice staff, could have been a bit more freindly but overall a really nice experience!
Enjoyed the lasagna and fried olives.
Very close to theatre which was great. Food was average. My filet mignon was overcooked. I wanted to swap out a side that came with my meal, told no substitutes. After our food came, our waiter never came back to see how everything was our offer grated cheese for my hubby’s pasta etc.
Food was edible just not my fav spot. One thing i did like when i went to use the restroom which was downstairs the ambience was great in that part of the restaurant. I would go back and sit at the bar for drinks and apps.
We had dinner after seeing a Broadway show on Saturday evening. We had 5:15pm reservations and when we arrived we were immediately seated which was great. We sat downstairs which was a pretty cool atmosphere but the tables are pretty small. The server was nice enough and took our order when we were ready. We ordered Chicken parm, Veal parm and the Chicken Pepperoni parm. Everyone liked their meals but no pasta side unless ordered separately ($12 for half order of pasta).
Overall, the food was good but the small table was troublesome and the prices were steep (even for NYC). By the way, a diet Coke was $5.50 which in my opinion is highway robbery and each meal was $30+.
I visit NYC often and the next time I am looking for an Italian dinner, I will look elsewhere.
The food and service were great. Make a reservation around 8 when everyone else goes and sees their shows!
We’ve been to Bond45 several times before and after shows. It’s a solid choice for pre or post theater & for people with dietary restrictions :)
Great location if you are seeing a show! Food was excellent. Drinks fun. Lasagna different but really good. Scallops very tasty. Excellent margarita pizza. You must get a selection of veggies as an app. Fried cauliflower my favorite. Tom the server was the best!
Food was very good and the setting overlooking Times Square is amazing. My only issue is to why the waiter takes your credit card away for payment, rather than bringing the payment machine to the table.. I challenged this, and they think it’s acceptable.. perhaps I am over cautious
Some hiccups with the seating
Most people were there for theatre and once they left the service got better
Food was good
Great menu. Delicious food.
This was the third time we visited Bond 45. The first two times were exceptional. This visit, not so much. We had reservations and were seated right away. The restaurant was actually only about 3/4 full. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. It was over an hour to receive our food. People, seated next to us, that came in about a half hour after us received their food before us. The food was not as described on the menu. My husband asked for onions with his steak he was told no they couldn't accommodate that but the same onions he asked for were a standard part of my dish. It just was not a pleasant experience. We have taken it off our list of "must do" when we visit the city.
Good if you have a biriadwsy show to get to. Food is good but noisy.
I love this place!
Wonderful food, drink, and ambiance.
Our first and probably last time here was marred by a 45+ minute wait for entreés while we sat watching tables that arrived after us being served. Even after politely inquiring, the food - a simple linguine bolognese for the both of us - still took way too long. Management kindly removed them from our bill, and though the food was quite good, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths.
Eat there often . Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
Excellent place to dine, good food (portions are big!) service great as is the atmosphere
