Food is always delicious!! The eggplant parmigiana is outstanding!! The fried artichokes are out of this world! The ambiance is great!
Good pre-theather choice. Food is good Italian fare, moderate prices with very good service and atmosphere.
We love this top restaurant in the theatre district. The menu is full of great options and the wine is outstanding.
The restaurant has moved since we last visited. Smaller space although with same look and feel. But food was not as good, pretty mediocre, at best. And the service was poor. The server gave my husband the wrong sandwich and when he realized it, the server didn't offer to change it or take it off the bill - he said he must have heard incorrectly. The sliced steak was too rare and flavorless. Unlike most steak houses, they did not have bernaise or other fresh sauce. They only had bottled steak or Worchester sauce.
Fantastic meal on our second visit. Short rib meatballs, Bolognese ravioli and scallops w/orzo were outstanding.
Service was slow. The food was okay.
Delicious food, great service! Their chef special lasagna is a must. The veggie pizza was thin crust, light with loads of veggies. The meat ravioli with three meat sauce was scrumptious!
Made a reservation in advance. Seated immediately. Wait staff excellent. Ordered Filet Mignon which came with a side of some kind of potato pie. Presentation was disappointing. Just the meat and the potato. Not appealing but good. Fried artichokes excellent. Lasagna good.
Server was not attentive.. Once our food came we could barely catch his attention.
This is a very reliable restaurant, and such a good choice if you want a good meal in the theatre district.
Perfect location! Lovely food and warm, professional service!
Excellent place for a large group
I have been coming to Bond 45 for many years but have not been for two years. During that time the restaurant has moved location and is nothing like the original. The ambience has become noisey and rushed, the menu has been considerably cut down and the food sadly is nowhere near what it used to be. This is a great shame and I will not be returning.
We visited Bond 45 the last time we were in New York many years ago. It was an amazing experience. Sadly, our return visit is something we hope we can soon forget.
The menu is completely different. Fewer Italian choices. The chicken piccata was tough and flavorless. Spend your hard earned dollar some place else.
We have a wonderful time here! Food and service was great!
Really enjoyed the experience. Super service and food selections were perfect. Best place we've eaten in NYC.
We had a late afternoon reservation. Ambiance was cosy. Service was peculiarly slow, but that wasn't a problem since we were happy to take our time. The mousse was a decadent and delicious dessert.
Delicious! Wonderful, friendly waitress. Recommend to anyone pre or post theater. Energetic atmosphere!
The food at Bond 45 is excellent. We have tried a number of dishes and they are all excellent to outstanding. However, the service this last time we visited was horrific. The utensils and glasses were dirty, the replacements were dirty; it took a third set to get it right. The waiting was completely inattentive with the multiple waiters that served us rushing to the next table before we finished our sentence. Given that the food is so good, we will give the restaurant one more chance.
First time eating here and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent and just enough for a portion size. Our waiter could have been a little more attentive. It was very loud and difficult to hear. But the decor was nice. Would absolutely return again
Waiter boarded on rude and wasn’t helped. There were raisins in out French toast and there wasn’t suppose to be. Ruined the meal. Also the breakfast potatoes were spicy. Couldn’t eat them.
Excellent food and courteous service. Because it was too crowed we had to wait a little to get seated but it was worth the wait. Must recommend!
Restaurant is tired and food is average. The steak wasn’t good quality or taste. Wouldn’t go back.
OUr server was very very patient and accommodating. He also did not rush us after we finished dining.
Given worst table downstairs next to bar. Constantly crashing into others due to overcrowding Chicken pepperoni parm was overcooked and tough. Used to be our favorite place. Now we will never return. Treated like garbage in a place that is going downhill fast. Was going to have dinner party here but now going anywhere else. Wake up or your next move will be to bankruptcy court
After reading the reviews, I expected a much better restaurant. The server made some strange remarks. The food was average. I was disappointed and won't return.
A friend and I had a pre-show reservation. Food was excellent, but the service ended up being a little frenetic. Sal B. was very good up until we had to ask for our check. Took so long we were worried we be late for the show.
Amazingly good food and service.
Food made 2/4 sick
Food and service were great! Our only complaint is that it was too pricey!
We enjoyed our time at Bond 45. The service was fantastic. Many delicious gluten free options on the menu.
The salads came out wrong , very skimpy on the field greens and very salty
Returned salad three times
Waited a long time for food and was rushed to eat and get to the show
Messed up order, had to wait too long for their mistake, salty
We came with about 15 people, one table had a great experience, the other was very disappointed. They waited twice as long for the food and ours was on time. Their orders were incorrect, our group had a good experience and the food was delicious
Cheese burger is now a double cheese burger like Micky D's. Go back to the original.
It is terrible that “pre-theater” meals in NYC are totally absent of any quality. This is no exception. The chicken piccata was the worst ever. Ribolita looked like it had been previously eaten. The wedding soup was so salty. Service was poor...our server never returned to ask about our dinner and when ordering, strongly suggested an up charge for our wine.
The only reason these restaurants survive is because they are in the theater district.
They put us in the basement in a back area. No ambiance and very cold with a draft even though they tried to fix it.
Salmon was great, linguine clam sauce was disappointing, barely any flavor (especially for price). Service was great and we were in and out which was important since we had a play.
Everything was very well done and the wait staff was very attentive to our visit.
