Food was good. Nice presentation. Staff friends and efficient. Close to theatre.
Service was terrible- food good but overcrowded for theater
This is a go to restaurant for us when visiting the city. Brunch was amazing as usual.
Breakfast was avocado toast with perfectly poached eggs. Served with lightly dressed greens with a lovely vinaigrette. Yummy latte and turmeric orange juice. Left feeling energized and ready for a day in the city!
Several food choices were unavailable from the menu. They were not accommodating with substitutions. Very loud.
Food was amazing. We enjoyed everything. The waiter was very nice but once we got our food we did not see him for 30 mins. Wanted dessert but once we never saw him we changed our mind. Looking forward to next time
Had to wait about 45 minutes for our table that was resevred for 6 so if going totheatre leave yourself some extra time!
The check in line for reservations was a disaster. 15 minutes at 6:00. People were angry.
Terrible service and overall crowded
Relaxed cozy atmosphere. Attentive service. We had appetizers and wine which were delicious. Our waiter was very helpful with making our choices and well paced with serving. We look forward to returning.
The maitre d' was awesome, the bartender outstanding, and waiter fabulous! I would most definitely recommend a friend!
We've always enjoyed our meals at Bond 45. This time was no exception but it was our first time downstairs. It was just wonderful & the ambiance is perfect there. As always, the food, service, drinks, were all too perfection. I hope to be seated downstairs again in the future.
Many thanks again to Bond 45 for
another wonderful day in NYC!
Great food in a great atmosphere. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal and the variety of options available.
Terrible food ( chicken parm and tortellini ). Poor service - even though it was not crowded. Our waiter could be bothered by explaining dishes etc.
He sent us to a restroom that did not have lights, other customers or running water. The soda was $5:50 -which I do not mind, except we were there over one hour and the waiter did not come by to check on refills - he did not deliver our meals and never checked to see if we needed ANYTHING.
The restaurant is in the heart of the Theatre district so convenient to the shows. The chicken comes as the size of a luncheon plate with no sides . Should be warned that this could be shared and get another side dish or appetizer. We had 4 chicken dishes a bottle of Rose and a few drinks and the bill was well over $300.00. No sides salads or appetizers. Food was good but over priced. Service was good.
Food is always delicious!! The eggplant parmigiana is outstanding!! The fried artichokes are out of this world! The ambiance is great!
We ordered the lunch time special. Server didn't know how to pour wine. Generous salmon toasts. Only two meatballs, but very tasty. I enjoyed the Bolognese fettucine and my partner got a huge chicken parm although one that was very thin but dry and with little sauce. Nice atmosphere.
Bond 45 is a perfect pre-theater choice. The service is quick and friendly and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. We aware a party of 11 and everybody was thrilled with their meal. I had the red shrimp and it was delicious. The steak on arugula salad was another favorite. I have eaten here at Ll East five times and I plan to return!
We came before the TINA Turner show - 5:30 pm during the week reservation, 9 of us. They had the table ready for us and the place was extremely busy on both levels. (FYI - the tables are extremely close together and there was a lot of moving in so that the waiter could get past.)
We each got drinks. Some got salads, chicken, pasta, vegetables, salmon - we covered the entire menu. Everything was cooked very well and everyone was served at the same time.
I shared the grilled salmon and a plate of vegetables which was perfect for 2 of us.
Due to the number of times one woman in our party had to get up - 12 - the manager brought us complimentary dessert. The chocolate mousse was great!!
Our server took everything in stride. He even gave us separate checks, which was greatly appreciated.
FYI - gender neutral bathrooms
Dinner was great, had a great I had a great time, they even gave us a welcoming drink because it was our 54th wedding anniversary, a very good gesture. Went back the next morning for breakfast, but that was another story very dis-organized waited a long time for service we’re disappointed, after that great dinner the night before to have them fall flat on her face at breakfast time was really a sad thing that happened
The location is very conveniently located directly across the street from the Marriott Marquis Hotel where we were staying, it couldn’t have been any closer, it was also right next-door to the musical Tina, was also made is very handy, good food good location but skip the breakfast
Good pre-theather choice. Food is good Italian fare, moderate prices with very good service and atmosphere.
We love this top restaurant in the theatre district. The menu is full of great options and the wine is outstanding.
The restaurant has moved since we last visited. Smaller space although with same look and feel. But food was not as good, pretty mediocre, at best. And the service was poor. The server gave my husband the wrong sandwich and when he realized it, the server didn't offer to change it or take it off the bill - he said he must have heard incorrectly. The sliced steak was too rare and flavorless. Unlike most steak houses, they did not have bernaise or other fresh sauce. They only had bottled steak or Worchester sauce.
Fantastic meal on our second visit. Short rib meatballs, Bolognese ravioli and scallops w/orzo were outstanding.
Service was slow. The food was okay.
Delicious food, great service! Their chef special lasagna is a must. The veggie pizza was thin crust, light with loads of veggies. The meat ravioli with three meat sauce was scrumptious!
Made a reservation in advance. Seated immediately. Wait staff excellent. Ordered Filet Mignon which came with a side of some kind of potato pie. Presentation was disappointing. Just the meat and the potato. Not appealing but good. Fried artichokes excellent. Lasagna good.
Server was not attentive.. Once our food came we could barely catch his attention.
This is a very reliable restaurant, and such a good choice if you want a good meal in the theatre district.
Bond 45 was a lovely restaurant just a quick walk out of the fray in the theater district. We had tickets at the Shubert so this eatery at a very convenient distance from the theater without crowds of theater goers. The food was very good and everyone in our party of six enjoyed their meals.
Perfect location! Lovely food and warm, professional service!
Excellent place for a large group
I have been coming to Bond 45 for many years but have not been for two years. During that time the restaurant has moved location and is nothing like the original. The ambience has become noisey and rushed, the menu has been considerably cut down and the food sadly is nowhere near what it used to be. This is a great shame and I will not be returning.
We visited Bond 45 the last time we were in New York many years ago. It was an amazing experience. Sadly, our return visit is something we hope we can soon forget.
The menu is completely different. Fewer Italian choices. The chicken piccata was tough and flavorless. Spend your hard earned dollar some place else.
We have a wonderful time here! Food and service was great!
Really enjoyed the experience. Super service and food selections were perfect. Best place we've eaten in NYC.
We had a late afternoon reservation. Ambiance was cosy. Service was peculiarly slow, but that wasn't a problem since we were happy to take our time. The mousse was a decadent and delicious dessert.
Delicious! Wonderful, friendly waitress. Recommend to anyone pre or post theater. Energetic atmosphere!
