Reservations were made for an anniversary; I thought something special would be done since it was asked was there an occassion; we also had reservations at Chart House in Alexandra and the ambience was fantastic!!! There was an Happy Anniversary card on the table for us and the menu was just for us, that indicated what the occasion was at the top. Very thoughtful on their part
Though staff was accommodating as best they could, the credit card system was down and we had to go to an ATM to secure over $300 to pay the check, with little notice. Embarrassing to say the least. Food quality was not the best. The staff was anxious to go home, as the restaurant was not at all busy (probably due to the Credit Card Machine Failure). This restaurant is way over priced, and seems to be more of a "tourist trap" than a quality restaurant.
Service was very poor from the hostess and the waiter right from the start. Too many unforced errors to mention in this review. Food and atmosphere was very good but the service was a major blemish on what could have been a great experience. An 18% gratuity was incorporated into our check, we usually tip 20% to 25% but we actually felt a little ripped off with the lack of basic service that we received. We will try another restaurant when we return to national harbor. Such a shame.

Garlic bread is a small ciabatta loaf. The pesto is light, and since I’m not a fan I appreciated that.
Mac and cheese was good. Chicken parm with spaghetti excellent - but could be pounded thinner to be just a bit better. Husband enjoyed spaghetti carbonara.
Good food, nice decor and even better service. Can't go wrong with the steak frittes.

Loud, service was slow, food was OK. Ended up cutting our dinner short and going someplace else.
Gorgeous location and very pleasant wait staff. We ate on the patio outside overlooking the water and very much enjoyed a long and relaxed dinner with friends.
very overpriced, food was nothing special, typical italian food, spaghetti was ok, so was the chicken primavera which was suppose to be the house special, i would not recommend.
What is the point of making a reservation if your space is not reserved? Terrible experience on May 20, 2021. I made a reservation and selected outdoor seating. When I arrived - which was on time, btw, the hostess informed me that outdoor seating was unavailable and offered a space in the “sun room.” I asked why that was the case and it defeated the purpose of making the reservation. She walked us to the sun room - and I asked if she would move us once a space became available outside. Her response “I’ll see what I can do” was not sufficient because again- outdoor seating is an option online and that is exceptionally bad form to not honor my reservation. We did not dine and found a reservation nearby at an accommodating restaurant.
Dinner experience was great during our visit to National Harbor. We will be returning.

New menu and the food is really delicious! Service is always really great with polite, knowledgeable servers and very welcoming each time. We enjoyed the scallops w/mushroom risotto, lobster linguine, branzino & Brussels sprouts, and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. Along with Prosecco and old fashions with vanilla gelato for dessert! Left smiling from ear to ear!
Juan was the bartender on my visit. Very friendly and efficient service. He made thoughtful menu recommendations and an excellent cocktail for me. He was very busy, but was such an efficient bartender that it in no was detracted from my service. I didn’t have to wait for service. I had everything I needed and I never felt rushed. Wonderful experience! Thank you, Juan!
Al fresco meal with my family!
We went here for our anniversary and were looking forward to a delicious meal. My husband thought his meal, Shrimp Alfredo, was pretty decent although he thought it could have a bit more flavor. I on the other hand ordered the Lobster and Crab ravioli and was very disappointed. Unfortunately I ate it, not wanting to complain since it was a special occasion, but the lobster in the ravioli did not taste fresh and it barely had any crab meat on top as described by the server. My husband could see my disappointment and felt terrible since he knew that I was looking forward to the meal and our special dinner. I definitely wish that I had a better experience as this was my first visit to Bond 45.
I chose this venue to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday with a party of 10. When we arrived, we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our table (I booked the reservation about 3 weeks ahead), which was fine, because we were greeted with complimentary champagne and didn't mind the wait. Our table was in a semi-private room, which we were able to decorate & bring cake, so that made it feel more personal. Our server, Brice, was on point throughout the entire service. He was honest, made thoughtful recommendations, and attentive without being overbearing. He's a real professional! The food came out promptly, hot, and portioned just right. We ordered the calamari (single serving), burratta app, Parmesan wings, several pasta entrees, risotto (which my mom raved about the next day), salads, and salmon. Everyone seemed full & satisfied. What was really sweet was how Brice and another server came in and sang Happy Birthday at the end. Thanks for making my mom's day special and memorable! This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, even though everything that could go wrong, went wrong. We were initially seated next to a loud party but we asked to be reseated and the staff accommodated us very quickly. When our food arrived there was an issue with my entree (which was delicous) but it had to be taken away. I could tell the manager was not only embarassed that such an incident occurred but went out of his way to make it right. He had the kitchen make me another entree, even though I told him I was no longer hungry (i was stuff from my appetizer and half an entree I did eat). He also gave us a glass of champagne and gave me a dessert. The GM went so above and beyond to make sure I was good that I couldn't even be mad about the mistake made. It was a really good night and I would highly recommend Bond 45 to anyone looking for that great dinner out. This was my first time but I'll definitely be back.

From Miami and here for work. I felt I love with the pictures on social media and read a couple of reviews. My friend and I arrived at 06:30 for happy hour we had 1-2 drinks and some bites the food at the bar was really good. We where sitting there and was no background music it was very quite no atmosphere of nothing. Then we move to a table. The hostess had no smile in her face she seem like she didn't like to be there.
We ask for a better table because what she offer was not good they go by what's next for the servers no for what's the client request or desire. I been to many restaurants around the world and this place has an amazing decoration but food wise and staff not so much.
We order an appetizer it was ok not wow.
Then I order chicken parmigiana and my friends and spouse order pasta carbonara.
Horrible. Not a place I would recommend or go back. No flavor at all I don't recommend this place.

Everything was just “ok”. The server was kind but not very attentive. My Caesar Salad had a lot of brown lettuce which wasn’t appealing and the Chicken Marsala was very sub par. The bread that was brought out was very tasty! All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place and I wouldn’t rush to go back.

We eat out regularly and, while attending a convention in National Harbor, ate at Bond 45. Des, the bartender, and John Edwards, the g.m., made us feel very special. Rarely, at a restaurant, does the management take an interest in their guests. In addition, the food was great. The chicken parmesan is, indeed, a specialty. My wife and daughter loved the pasta dishes they ordered and the side of brussel sprouts was perfect. Both the cheesecake and chocolate cake were exceptional desserts.
This restaurant has beautiful views of the harbor and if you’re in a convention at the Gaylord it’s walking distance but the food is quite average and we won’t be back. The chicken Marsala was probably overcooked or sat under a microwave too long because it was like leather. Same for the shrimp Alfredo: overcooked dried out shrimp.
