We went to Bond 45 for my son’s 30th birthday celebration. We were served a small glass of champagne to help celebrate - very nice!!, and the food (steak and Italian food) was amazing!! Great service. We will definitely go back again.
Fabulous meal, decor and service
We celebrated two anniversaries and German (Herman) was an incredible waiter who made our experience great!
Sorry, but the this place is terrible from the food down to the service!! How can you serve a customer completely raw meat & have an attitude over it when addressed. On top of that all the workers I encountered had a very nasty attitude! Save yourself the trouble & drive 15 minuets to Carmine’s. HORRIBLE! Never again
We just finished an amazing meal at Bond 45! We went to celebrate my son’s 20th birthday and Oscar P., our server, went above & beyond to make the occasion special! Everything was just perfect!
Our waiter Fernando was more than just a waiter, he was the icing on the cake. The experience he provided, from cocktail recommendations to recognizing my wife and I were celebrating, made this an unforgettable dinner.
Bond 45 is a restaurant that provides great attentive service. Biaggio the manager is most accomodating and graciuos.
The food is excellent. the burratta appetizer was perfect The chicken parm is their signature dish and rightly so.... it is the best we had ever had.
The only issue is noise level in the main indoor dining room is loud (not the riverview rooms) . This was a business dinner and it was difficult to hear the conversation at normal speaking levels.
Lobster was small and mushy. Did not enjoy.
This is my second time at this location. The food as always is good and portioned appropriately. I requested a made to order vegetarian dish which was done well.
The food was really amazing. Our server was polite but clearly very new and in need of additional training. He did things like waste water all over the table while pouring and never cleaned it up. He took away flatware and did not replace without prompting. In addition the other staff and manager on site stood around gossiping and eating out on the dining floor. The manager served cookies without using tongues and the servers ate from the tray using their fingers. I have been here before and the waiters were very polished. This was pretty bad.
Usually amazing! Had a reservation and I think they forgot about us. After we finally got sat ,we waited about twenty minutes before our waiter came to our table. He didn't even come to check on us after he took our order. Had to flagged him down to get drinks. Unacceptable for an expensive meal. We were there for about two and a half hours
Visited for lunch. Not busy. Very good good food—spaghetti and meatballs/ fettucine alfredo. Attentive service. Will go again.
John Edward was the manager on duty and I can't really describe what he did for us!! All what I can say that it was amazing very high 5 stars service and they all went above and beyond!!
I'll definitely take my out of town guests there again and I'll do special occasions there too as because of the beautiful interior, wonderful service and amazing food!!
Highly recommend the fillet mignon and the chicken parmagiana!!
The server was outstanding, I am very sad that I did not grab her name. We had a group of 7 and one of the meats didn’t come out as ordered, she immediately brought the manager who was outstanding solving the problem. Great emphasis on customer service and very friendly. Thank you to both and glad we met a new Italian friend!
Try the pesto Alfredo, it was amazing!!!
Went to Bond 45 for dinner on a busy Saturday night ahead of a show at the MGM Theater. We were seated immediately ahead of our reservation time, and greeted by the friendly manager with two complementary glasses of Prosecco. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the calamari appetizer, which was delicious, and we ended up splitting the Chicken Parmesan. Good thing we did -- it was a BIG portion, the size of a personal pizza, except the "crust" is the chicken. It was very tasty, and we both enjoyed it. On our way out, the manager found us in the lobby and gave us two glasses of Limoncello while we waited for our Uber. It was a delightful meal, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area!
I went to Bond 45 for my 20th anniversary and they went way above and beyond in accommodating my dinner request (quiet corner with a waterfront view). The service was absolutely fantastic as well as the food; I could not have had a better experience! I would highly recommend Bond 45 in National Harbor - John Edward (the General Manager) and the team will definitely take care of you!
Incredibly dependable & always fantastic! We frequent both the National Harbor location as well as the NYC location and always find the food to be excellent and the service impeccable. On their last visit we ended the evening with a shot of lime cellos with maitre d’ and will be sure to return again! Reservations HIGHLY recommended!
Exceptional. Food, service and ambiance were exceptional
Great food and outstanding service! Definitely a 5 star restaurant.
I think it was just a bad night for the restaurant. I do have to say that the Assistant Manager tried very hard to make every right. Many individuals in our dining room complained about the food, drinks and service they received. If I was the Assistant Manager, I would find a new job. Most servers and kitchen staff were too busy talking and laughing with one another. The waiter did not know the difference between tonic water and soda water...it was terrible. Our drinks had to be returned three times. That was my first visit to that restaurant, not to return again.
Nice looking place, good riverfront views and decent service but . . .
Restaurant seems designed for high-volume, tourist clientele. Food was blasé and felt pre-made. If you want great pasta, go to Osteria Marini at the Yards. Chicken marsala was dry and cardboard texture. The tiramisu must have been made days earlier - heavy, cold, dense.
Overall, a pleasant place for conversation but the food is not worth the price. BTW, you are better off computing your tip yourself than depending on the suggestions on your bill; the suggested 20% tip was $31 for a $92 meal ???
Nice Italian food! Pasta is fresh and service was quick and courteous. It is a very nice location and atmosphere.
Diner was wonderful! We had a bit of everything and I can't say anything bad about it. The Steak was juicy and flavorful. The Lasagna was the best I've had and the Chicken Marsala was delicious.
Informed the Bond45 staff several times via email and phone that we were celebrating a birthday. No one even greeted the celebrant or did anything special. We’ve celebrated many times before at Bond45 and were at least greeted sometimes a cotton candy birthday dessert. Overall disappointed in the price paid for the experience and quality of food. As long time residents of National Harbor we will seek out the other establishments for our special occasions.
Amazing. Always on point with the food.
I ordered the lasagna and it was terrible! Overcooked, very dry and not appetizing at all. My fiancé had the jumbo crab cake and it was alright, a bit overcooked as well. Spent a lot of money for food that wasn't worth the price.
food was excellent. Would have enjoyed sliced italian bread with olive oil and parmesan offered rather than the ciabatta roll, which looked like the rolls I buy in a store. Waiter was good but not offered fresh pepper or parmesan, which should be a staple at Italian restaurants.
Went to celebrate my husband's birthday. They treated us top notch from the minute we walked in. Great service, delicious food.
When there the day after Valentine’s Day. There weren’t too many people so service was prompt. Heard a lot about the meatballs but they were lackluster in my opinion. Would not get again. My husband got the scallops w/ mushroom risotto. I got the lobster ravioli. Both were delicious! The staff were great. Polite and responsive. Will return
We went on Valentine's Day and deliberately made an early reservation to avoid the rush. We had a drink at the bar and then we were seated in the glassed-in terrace ..it was extremely quiet in there, so you could clearly hear the conversation at everyone's table. We were probably seated for about 15 minutes before staff came to check on us, despite the fact that a waiter came to the table beside us to care of their order. A kindly gentleman finally came, gave us bread, took another drink order and then another waiter shows up a bit later. After that, it just seemed like we never had consistent service between the two waiters, who were clearly just as confused and both apologized, even though no other table in our section seemed to have that problem. We have been to this restaurant several times before and had a great experience with impeccable service, however this time, everything was just off ...steak was overdone and my side dish had clearly been under a heat lamp and was slightly dry but by the time the food cane, I was just so hungry I ate it. The panna cotta was delicious as were the cocktails. I guess every place has an off night I just wish it hadn't been that night. We might go back another time but we'll just make sure not to go for a special occasion. Between the wait time to actually get a server and trying to figure out who actually was our waiter for incidentals, it just did not make for an enjoyable evening.
Polite and friendly staff and very intimate setting.
Absolutely loved it!
Our waitress was very kind and detailed about the menu.
My wife’s birthday is a bit challenging because it coincides with Valentine’s Day but the staff at Bond 45 at National Harbor made her feel special and celebrated. It was much appreciated & we will definitely be back!
Excellent food and ambiance. My only gripe would be that the waiter was not the most attentive as it pertains to the drinks. Then again, it was Valentines Day so I am very understanding. Highly recommend this restaurant.
nice location but the restaurant need to add side dishes. very poor menu and expensive.
I was one of the first customers who went when 45 openedmy only issue is you used to get warm cookies throughout the meal and they were bigger and the type of popover that they used to serve were different so it seems that they stream line the menu to cut costs and I definitely understand but I’d like to see some of those things come back but I was happy Also the cowboy ribeye
Early Valentines Day dinner
This place was on fire so they had to cancel our reversations which led us to go to a different restaurant which was absolutely disgusting!!! The one star is for them ruining my night and my dinner!!!!
