Bond 45 - National Harbor
Great staff. Great food. The location is right over the water, giving you the option to eat outside and look over the water, or eat inside with their beautiful scenery.I highly recommend it!
It was our first time at Bond 45 and they hooked us up. I requested a water view on the reservation and that’s exactly what we got in more quite setting. It was amazing! The service and food was so spectacular!
Honestly, I’m not sure how this place is in business. The food was terrible—like worse than hospital or nursing home food. We ordered ravioli, filet mignon, and a few sides. The food was tasteless and cold. The mashed potatoes in particular was an atrocity.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Food came out really fast. Loved it! We brought our young teenage kids too-they loved it as well.
This is our favorite spot to eat at National Harbor. The food is spectacular and service is outstanding. They have a nice wine selection and the steaks are perfect.
I hate I didn’t get the server’s name but he was AWESOME! Nice sultry voice and very accommodating. Made great recommendations. Filet cooked perfectly. Drinks were nice. Will be back next time I visit National Harbor
Great Service Indeed. The Hostess was amazing! She was able to get me the section I wanted even in a packed house. Chicken Marsala is a BEAST. Thank you
There were four diners. All meals were excellent except for one. A ribeye steak was ordered. The server returned to say there were no more ribeyes apologized and suggested a N.Y. steak. Medium well steak was ordered with just a slight bit of pink but the steak was rare. The manager apologized and tried again and again the steak was rare. Free deserts were offered plus drinks for the errors. Have dined at Bond 45 many times and this was the first time that the meal was not up to standards of past experiences. Chalk this instance to an aberration. Probably will return but not order a steak.
The food was very tasty. However, 118 Victor, our server, wasn’t welcoming nor attentive. After my leaving I left my phone there & Victor was very cavalier with my locating it. He preferred his gratuity in cash. I accommodated & gave him $32. If & when I return I will not accept Victor as my server.
Bond 45 is now at the top of my list. I went for my birthday brunch and it was AMAZING!! The food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the noise level was perfect. We didn’t feel alone but we didn’t feel overcrowded and rushed. They even told us the food was about to be put away so grab some more if we wanted. It’s been a long time since I have had quality service at the Harbor but this place sets the bar high.
Brunch was delicious and the ambiance was great. The prices however are much more than what I had expected for brunch, Drinks and parking😬
Everything was wonderful about this restaurant. It was my graduation dinner and we had a great waiter, service and small nook of the dining area that was perfect for our party of 8! They only down side to the whole night was there are only two bathrooms in the entire establishment, and half way through the night they locked one of them for some reason and the other ran out of toilet paper and paper towels so I improvised and used a toilet seat cover. I think if they could eventually add bathrooms in the future and have someone to keep an eye on the cleanliness and up keep of them throughout the night it wouldn’t have been such a pain. They were also right by the front door so the wait lines were getting mixed up with the people waiting to be seated. Other than that, the place was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone!
Ate dinner while in Baltimore and staying at Gaylord Palms. The staff was friendly and attentive but at times confused. The burrata with heirloom tomatoes was delicious and I ended up ordering two of those along with a Ceasar for dinner. With hindsight I would have skipped the Ceasar and ordered a chicken Parmesan instead. Ate at Th bar on a Saturday, was lively and upbeat. Live music would have been nice.
So I'm torn on this place. First and foremost the food was very good, and the servers were very friendly. However there were 3 things that set the experience back.
1) At the end of the meal we noticed that all tables had received bread, and we had not. As bread lovers we were disappointed (only figured it out after eating dessert).
2) Servers were a little slow on the drink refill. Now it was busy, and I get that, still a small annoyance
3) Menu was mislabeled. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert. Turns out it's a chocolate mouse cake, which is an entirely different thing. I hate mouse, and never would have ordered it (my significant other just ate the whole thing). I wanted to split the dessert but wasn't able.
Would I eat here again, probably, but I expect more.
This was my third experience at Bond 45. The first experience was in NYC. It was great. The last two were at the National Harbor, MD. I don't know if it was the excitement of being in NYC or what but the National Harbor store left me wanting. The chicken in the Chicken Pharm was, if we didn't know better, breast (dark) meat. Never seen Pharm made with breast meat. Didn't appeal. The open-face lasagna was an interesting twist but again, for the price, it didn't impress. Bond 45 is expensive. There's a lot of spit and polish but the execution of the menu and value was just not good. This will be the last time I will go to a Bond 45 establishment. Washnington DC has a lot better offerings.
We went for our anniversary dinner. There were several college graduation meals going on in the restaurant at the same time; however the noise level was still so that we could speak quietly to each other and easily be heard. We had made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. There were several events down at National Harbor at the moment, so it was definitely terrific to be seated immediately. We were greeted very quickly by our server. He was very polite, thorough, and even made helpful suggestions. Our food came out perfectly timed. My husband's steak was cooked to the perfectly ordered temperature. The sangria was delicious. The mozzarella bites are a bit "gooey" but still delicious. I recommend pairing with the fresh bread like you might with brie. The lobster ravioli was perfectly portioned and tasted terrific. The tiramisu was a bit heavier on the espresso side than my palate prefers but it was definitely a wonderful compliment to the meal over all. I would definitely recommend this restaurant again for date-nights, celebratory meals, or even just a nice quiet meal out of the house. It is also great to be able to walk around down at National Harbor after the meal.
The food was amazing and the manager was beyond generous! Such a lovely night!
My wife and a few friends celebrated our 21st anniversary and we couldn’t have been more happier with Bond 45. The greeters were young but very professional. The server was attentive but did not come around for more than 20 minutes after our food was brought to us. The food was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan and it was a lot to handle. We will definitely be back.
The food we had was excellent & the perfect amount in the serving. I highly recommend the sangria and the lobster & crab ravioli!!! OMG!!! So wonderful! Great, quick service, too. Thoroughly enjoyable experience~placing Bond 45 in my tops for restaurants at National Harbor & surrounding area!
Everything was wonderful- from the service to the homemade pasta.
Great food and atmosphere but the service was a bit slow. I had to remind my waiter of my drink order on more than one occasion.
Everything was awesome! From the service to the food, even the recommendations from our waitress off the menu were great options. Definitely will be going here again!
Service is aloof and slow. They don’t seem like they care to move very quickly
Amazing food and our server was amazing!
A little pricey for the meal. Bit of a language barrier with the waiter and bussers.
Waiter was rushed and didnt seem to want to connect with our group. We had to request he come back to the table a couple of times and he was seemingly perturbed about that.
Good food & great atmosphere but the meal was ruined by the unprofessional server.
Great place to go if you visit the National Harbor.
Service was fabulous but the air quality was a little warm
We went to the buffet and enjoyed the variety of dishes. Our server was gracious and efficient as well as pleasant. All of the food was well seasoned.
The server was Amazing! But the food (pasta) needed more seasoning, it was very bland even after adding pepper and cheese.
Association Past presidents dinner
Food and service was excellent. It was a little warm in the dining area we were seated in, but it was the hottest day of the year so far. Otherwise, perfection!
Service was very good and host and server was very nice. Food was amazing
Server and chef were great to accommodate special dietary requirements. Food was great. Service was great.
Great Steak!! Good wine sauce. Cooked perfectly 👍! The chicken parmesan was pounded flat like schnitzel. It filled an entire plate. Best chicken parmesan we’ve ever had! Looked a little like a pizza, but tasted Awesome!
Food was good, but service was horrible! It took over an hour and a half to get our food, and even then they forgot the salad one person ordered, another person did not even get food and good luck on getting a soda or iced tea as they never took a drink order. Nice place and good food, but needs to revisit the service aspect. Until then, avoid unless you have an exceptionally long time to wait around for your lunch.
Beautiful sunset and perfectly cooked meal. We sat on outside patio and the sunset was the perfect backdrop to the meal. The food was superb. We will be back soon.
Fantastic experience again. Professional staff who are engaging makes all the difference!
