Bond 45 - National Harbor
It was valentine’s day so the restaurant was very full. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation and our waiter came to take our drink orders. Our food came out very quickly considering how full the restaurant was. Everything was delicious! Some of the entrées are a bit pricey, but there is a price point for everyone on the menu.
Great food and service. Would be nice if they offered parking validation for the parking garage after spending $100 there lol
I took my wife and 2 sons here for Valentine's Day. Our table was ready at 645, reservation time. Our waiter, Victor, was very courteous. Food was excellent and definitely will return on special occasions.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service. The entire staff (manger, host, wait staff) make it an amazing experience every time!
First time going here was for Valentine's day dinner. The restaurant itself is very nice and has a nice ambiance. There's a small bar but that clearly isn't their selling point, it's more of a sit down place. I had the salmon, which was very good, but not great. They do have a large wine selection.
Best Italian food we've had in the Metro DC area! Second time here and can't wait to go again!
Great Valentine’s Day dinner. The lamb chops were excellent.
Had a great night with an amazing view. Couldn't have asked for a better 1 year anniversary experience.
Celebrated a dear friend’s birthday. The food was amazing, the drinks were great, and the service was attentive. Overall, a great time!
Nice experience! Food is pricey but very good! This service definitely tends to cater to the larger parties but the waiter was very welcoming.
My husband asked me to marry him there and we came back for our anniversary. They sat us in the same spot he proposed. We even got a complimentary toast and dessert. They made our anniversary just as special as the day my husband proposed.
Excellent food. Initial service was very slow. The assistant GM then came over and immediately got things moving fast and checked on us regularly throughout. He changed the atmosphere to all positive and did his job at a high level.
We had the most memorable evening at Bond 45 , which was substantially enhanced by our unbalanced professional, hilarious—personable- SUPERIOR -waiter— Lutfi ??
Each of us tried different entrees and each was exceptional. The atmosphere, location, table— all superb. In fact, the sun would have been in the eyes of two of our guests at sunset and the hostess recommended moving our table to a lovely cozy spot! We are considering this for a wedding rehearsal dinner! Fabulous!
We chose this restaurant for a party of 10 to celebrate a 50th birthday celebration before heading over to MGM for a show. Sidenote: I tried to make a reservation at MGM but after several phone calls and no return calls, I gave up . Terrible customer service! Bond 45, on the other hand, was awesome. Our waiter (wish I could remember his name) was very knowledgable on the menu items and friendly. Nice touch to bring a dessert to the table for my brother-in-law's birthday with 10 forks! I'll be back.
The bar left something to be desired and service was just okay but the food was very good.
Overpriced for just ok food. They did accommodate for children but overall I wished we’d picked another restaurant.
Wouldn’t order the steak
Excellent food and service.. The seafood was tremendous!
My girlfriend booked a trip to Washington for my 50th. We went to Bond 45. They gave us extra special treatment making it a great experience.
I was disappointed in the Tomahawk 24oz steak too much bone definitely not 24oz meat
Great food and service. Professional and relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to go during the summer.
Excellent waiter. Excellent service. Excellent food. Will be back for Valentine's day.
The service was slow and inconsistent, the woman behind us became physically ill during our meal due to her food and the entire restaurant had to witness it, and the food was over seasoned.
We were a party of 10 and the restaurant was relatively quiet. However, it took more time than we expected to get our food and check. Overall, it was a good experience. We had a variety of items and many ordered off of the restaurant week menu.
Good fresh food and excellent service. Once we got a waiter which took a few minutes. I suspect our original waiter was getting off duty while another was taking over his tables. This happen around 9 pm on Saturday. Everything else fell into place nicely.
Was and incredible experience dining here for 1year anniversary. Food was great and overall ambiance was really good. Would recommend Bond 45 for a great dining experience.
Food was great, everything else was horrible. This was the first time dinning at this restaurant and we won't be returning. This establishment is very expensive, leading us to believe that our experience should be on an upscale level. This place is not upscale. While there's supposed to be a dress code, people were dressed very casual. It's also very loud and you even have to walk through the kitchen area to get to the main dinning room. Our waiter was the worst. When he finally came to our table, he never greeted us, never got his name - nothing. All he said was "YES?" . It took over 10 mins to get our first round of drinks. And after that, we had to keep asking for water and to check on other drinks that we ordered. And even though the food was exceptional, we never got butter for our bread, or serving spoons for our al la carte sides, and my husbands steak didn't have the requested extra crab on top that was requested. We had to send it back. Our check was $198 and I expect way more for my money.
We've been to Bond 45 many times for special celebrations. This time we went for our anniversary but it was during restaurant week so it was extremely busy and there wasn't as much one on one attention from the staff. We love the steaks, the chicken parm and the open faced lasagna and would highly recommend the food but we won't be going back during restaurant week.
The service was terrible. We weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our reservation. Tables were crammed into walkways, and the food was only ok, not great.
Well we started off a little slow. We entered and no hostess for at least 10 min. We are just standing in the atrium with servers staring at us. No on said hey someone will be right with you. Finally The hostess arrives sitting us the a drafty corner. With a usual table for 4 which has now been separated. We sat and sat and sat. Our waiter appeared he was nice. The bread was late our water was late our dinner was late. In fact the couple who came after us was served first and paid more attention to by the staff. Our waiter must have seen my perplexed look and said He does not control the kitchen. Anyway...i give a rating of 2 stars. It wasn't the experience I was hoping for.
It was restaurant week, prefixed meals weren't severed hot.. had to send items back to be reheated
If you have a developed palate, stay far away from Bond 45. Ever tasted like it came from the center aisle of a grocery store. The mozzarella bites tasted like fridge. The meatballs tasted like freezer. The ragu tasted metallic (like they were made from canned tomatoes). The chicken in my chicken Alfredo was gummy and overcooked. My gelato WAS NOT gelato. It was ice cream and it was gritty with chunks of ice crystals -- like the worst of the back of the grocery store freezer case. I would think this food was worth it if it was half price Applebee's.
We had a wonderful evening at Bond 45! The food was great, the noise level perfect for good conversation. One of the highlights though was the terrific staff -- we ate early, but stayed for at least 2 hours chatting, laughing and enjoying the lights on the harbor. The staff was welcoming and gracious!
PS: The chicken parm was just terrific, a pizza size, feeds four, plate of yum!
My wife and I both ordered the 8 oz. filet mignon with parmesan mashed potatoes and onion rings. The steaks were cooked precisely to medium; had a great flavor; and were very tender. The parmesan mashed potatoes and the onion rings were both done well. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.
Bond 45 is a bit on the expensive side, but if you want fine dining of this caliber you can expect to pay for it.
I asked for a quiet table by the window and got it! Service was excellent. The food the stake was good not special for the money. The kale and spinach salad was excellent. I would not serve the onion ring which was heavily breaded and the mashed potatoes tasteless with the stake!
Really nice and birthday presentation was right on and different. Our server was excellent!!
The service and meal was excellent.
Chicken parm was exceptional. Excellent service.
