The tomahawk steak and crab fries were delicious. Great view of the habor if you have the right seat (unfortunately we did not, even though I specifically requested that when I made the reservation). The fish dish was outstanding as well. Celebrated a special birthday there, and surprised that they did not bring a complimentary dessert to the birthday celebrant as many restaurants have done in my experience. Overall, great food, dislike the fact that there is no free parking in the area.
Celebrated an anniversary dinner here and couldn’t have been happier! Had a lovely table by the window and our waiter greeted us by wishing us a Happy Anniversary with a champagne toast. A++
Had a dinner reservation at 7:45, requested a nice view towards the Potomac for my girlfriend and I 4 year anniversary. Arrived at 7:46 and was seated at 7:50, we were placed in a offset room from the restaurant along with a dinner party of 6+ young women celebrating a birthday, not only did this make us feel like we are intruding on their celebration, but they were yelling over each other in their conversation to the point where my girlfriend and I could not hear each other from across the table... they were helped by one server in that area, and we were not asked or seen by waiter/waitress for 30minutes, not even for water, after we had told the host the occasion was our 4 year anniversary, and first time having diner at the National Harbor.
While waiting for a server to speak to us, along with not being able to hear our own conversation, my request for a view was not taken into consideration, for what we saw was the Regues building, and their dumpster area open with their garbage disposal, a dark empty building.
The time is 8:26 when we decided to ask for a Manager via random server helping tables across the hallway. After that we were continuously helped by multiple servers which we do appreciate. And we made best of the situation after the party of young adults had left, and we had finally gotten service to our table.
Great service and delicious food... All 6 of us were pleased!
Bond 45 has gone downhill. Its been 3yrs since I was last there and it was fine dining with quality service but now it’s like a chain restaurant where almost everyone in there is wearing, jeans, t-shirts and baseball caps. My wife and I were dressed up and had a 6pm reservation on a Sat. Took them over 15min to seat us and the waitress had too many tables to keep up with everyone. We will never go again.
The lump crab and shrimp was excellent!! The fried calamari needed more seasoning and maybe another option for the dripping sauce. Maybe a red sauce. Other than that it was a great experience.
Spaghetti was fine but just Ok. Salad was great! Corkage was $25 but worth it
My out of town guests loved the restaurant. My girlfriend enjoyed conversing in French with our waiter who was very personable and very attentive. Our pasta dishes were excellent. The service was outstanding.
Food was just ok. Nothing outstanding. It felt like it almost belonged in a mall.
Food was poor, service was worst.
Loved the place...Ordered the chicken Marsala and was surprised that it comes attached to the bone.
The only real issue is that we were not seated at our table until more than 20 minutes past our reservation time. Management did all they could do to "make it right," but it was still a significant delay.
It was our first visit...the atmosphere was very nice with good viewing of the Potomac! The brunch menu selections were all appealing and need to be warmer. Everything was expertly prepared and flavorful! Service was great...servers were very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It's great...I highly recommend..and I'll be back! Excellent experience!
Not on a Saturday night. Too noisy. Seating in the back, so-so service. Food was okay. Something like Maggiano's, but lots of bar flies standing in the bar area. You have to pass the bar to reach seating. They are rude and do not move. McCloone's Pier house is better.
We were taken to our table promptly upon arrival. Food and service were both outstanding!
The food was awesome; especially the crab Alfredo fries!
I was with a party of 5 for lunch and we all tasted each other’s food. We were very happy with our choices, especially the pastas. The cheesecake for dessert was also perfect! We will return!
Had the open faced lasagna and it is marvelous. My partner had the fish special also very good. Definately would go back
The open face lasagna and the lobster crab ravioli were awesome!
Weird tempo of service. Food wasn’t great.
The service and food was excellent. Our waitress made some great suggestions and my husband and I enjoyed our 42nd anniversary dinner there. Will come back again soon.
Great Service! Food was delicious! And the chocolate cake was yummy!
Friends of over 30 years getting together for a fantastic time. Thanks for the great service. The food was also great!
The waiter was extremely rude and impatient, and lacked basic courtesy to the guests. He had no interest of explaining the menu and responded to inquiries with cold words. He didn't even bring the bread to the table. Such a disappointment!
Shrimp scampi with pancetta bacon was delicious! We got mozzarella bites as an app and highly recommend those as well. Didn’t love the seafood orzo but everything else was top notch.
Loved the ambiance. Disappointed with the salads we ordered.
It was really nice to have a private section for our party of 7 and the staff was very attentive and didn’t forget about us. Great experience!
Brunch at Bond 45 is amazing! The food selection is delicious and plentiful. The staff is attentive and helpful. It's one of the best brunch spots in the Metro area!
Our waitress was in over her head. No silverware when we were seated. Bread served without individual plates. Olive oil by request only. Salads served rather promptly. Entrees did not arrive for about 40 minutes. Waitress promised they were “coming”. There was miscommunication between waitress and kitchen, but that’s a guess. This is a restaurant that handles enormous volume so we would have expected seamless service. Entrees were comped. Classy decision. The entrees when served were delicious. Seafood Orzo is highly recommended.
Our experience was great! Our waitress Sumi was awesome.
Great ambiance, service, and food. Looking forward to the next time..
Our food was great and our server was wonderful
Great brunch with fantastic service.
We recently celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Bond 45 at National Harbor and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was fabulously delicious and the service was top-notch. The restaurant is very lively, but we were seated in a semi-private room, which was great as it enabled us to converse quietly, yet enjoy the robust environment through the glass doors. Our server, Fernando, quickly figured out we were celebrating a special occasion and brought us 2 glasses of champagne, on the house -- a very nice gesture. As Bond 45 is well-known for its steaks, we ordered steaks, both of which were grilled to perfection. After our meal, our server Fernando, brought us 2 glasses of limoncello, again on the house. Bond 45 definitely lives up to its reputation as a fine restaurant -- and we look forward to our next visit.
Lovely, waiter attentive and food was delicious! Reservation honored, great atmosphere, have recommended and would dine here again!
Our waiter was absolutely wonderful. Checked on us constantly. I told him it was my husband's birthday. He brought him some ice cream and a candle and lead us in singing Happy Birthday. I wish I knew his name. He was an older gentleman.
I had not dined at Bond 45 for several years. I decided to take my Dad to lunch. The food was outstanding. I ordered the filet. The temperature and seasoning were amazing. The mashed potatoes were seasoned well, however, the onion rings were greasy and soggy. My Dad ordered steak as well and loved it. The issue was with our server. He was not friendly, did not smile, and seemed annoyed. When I asked for something, ex. refills, he walked away before I finished speaking. He was completely rude. A restaurant in this price range should have outstanding service. Unfortunately, that was not the case during this visit and it dampened the experience.
We enjoyed Bond 45 so much that we cancelled our reservations for the following evening and went back to have my now favorite drink called the Bond Cup and a few appetizers at the bar. When the general manager, John, heard that we had canceled to stay with them, he personally came to us with 2 glasses of champagne to thank us for choosing to stay with them 2 nights in a row. And it didn’t stop there. He then sent out some delicious caprese salad and meatballs and ended our meal with cheesecake (which I had ordered the night before and loved). The staff are amazing! Our server Friday night was outstanding and Saturday night while we sat at the bar, we got to know the bartenders and enjoyed the intimate setting. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful people. We will be back!
Great fellowship location
Shared a nice dinner w friends on the outside terrace area, enjoyed delicious food (the open faced lasagna and the chicken parm were winners at the table) and very nice service. The bread was a little disappointing but the cocktails made up for it. Absolutely no room for dessert...we had leftovers for the next 1.5 days!
