Andre was an awesome waiter!!!
I specifically chose Bond 45 for a 12:45 brunch reservation because the brunch was open until 3:00PM. Unfortunately the food on the buffet appeared stale and was not replenished often.
While the food had good flavor it was often tepid.
I will not return.
Enjoyed dining with friends and the location is perfect! We had a great view of the harbor also.
Guess short staffed as waiting after being seated was beyond long. Never again.
Great service, delicious food and we had a nice view of the water from our table. The bench seating was a little bit hard to get in and out of but overall it was a great place to eat at the harbor. Highly recommend!
Wonderful restaurant. My steak was very undercooked but everything else was fantastic.
Ridiculously loud inside. The two of us could barely hold a conversation at our table. My $46 ribeye ordered medium rare was served well done and had zero flavor other than the half pound of salt it had been rubbed with. The $26 pour of WhistlePig wasn’t even one finger. Worst $200 dinner for a couple in National Harbor. Won’t be back.
We were in from out of town and had a great dinner here. We had the lamb osso bucco, the deconstructed lasagna and a simple pasta with garlic and olive oil- everything was fantastic. We had a great waiter and fun meal.
It’s a nice place very close to Gaylord resort. There are good veggie options. While the prices on dishes seem fairly high but our waiter told us we could order and half of any dish - that made it much easier for us since we had kids with us. I highly recommend it. Thur noise leave is much lower. The service is much faster than restaurants at the hotel or for that matter at mgm resort.
Was seated 20 minutes after reservation time after being told it would just take two minutes to set the table when we arrived. Discovered later that table wasn’t set completely. Child was served orange juice that was spoiled. Food took an hour to be served. One dish was missing and server or waitress did not notice. Asked about dish and the item had sold out and no one had told the waitress. Bathrooms were recently flooded with black grime on the floors. High priced crab cakes were diner quality. Our party was so upset manager comped the entire dinner. Never again!
What happen to this restaurant? It use to be great. Good food and service. Now it sucks, 45 mins to get your apps and another hour for dinner to be served. Our waitress could give two cents about us. Not busy and now I know why. It Sucks, don’t waste your time or money!
Nice traditional Italian restaurant ! able to accommodate party of 10
It was really delicious food. Only problem was it took a really long time to get checked in with the hostess and then a really long time to get a server who changed a couple times. Additionally several of the food runners and bus boys struggled with English.
I usually dine at Bond 45 (National Harbor) once or twice every year, typically with family and friends. My past visits have been very good, I like the ambiance, menu selections and convenient location in National Harbor. However, this visit was the exception, I did not have a good overall experience. It seemed as if the restaurant was not properly staffed for dinner rush the day after Thanksgiving. Only one hostess was available, she could barely keep up. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait for nearly 10 minutes just to talk to the hostess once we arrived. Once seated, the waiters in our area were practically running from table to table. They had no time for pleasantries, going over the menu, etc. Everything was rushed. Once the main entrees came out, quality was lacking. The kitchen was probably rushing to keep up, not putting a lot of emphasis on quality. It was simply not the same place as in my other visits, around the same time every year. Dining at Bond 45 is not cheap, if a restaurant is seeking to charge premium prices, then it must be able to provide top notch service and quality, regardless of how busy it gets. Not sure I’ll return.
The signing process was rather long because the hostess was also searching for the tables. For the day after Thanksgiving in a major tourist destination this seemed like bad management. And because we had tickets to a show we had to hurry through dinner after the long wait. Once we were seated we thoroughly enjoyed the food and loved the views and ambience.
Bad service, one person at hostess stand on Black Friday causing a massive back-up, wait service was not good.
Very slow with seating even with a reservation & food came out lukewarm.
The waiter Andre was very kind and extremely helpful. The petite fillet was cooked perfectly. We had a table in what reminded me of a large dining car, which was very nice. There were 3 other families in the room that held 6 tables and there were no loud conversations. There is a wonderful view of the waterfront and sunset. This was an excellent experience and I shall return.
Came here for my wife's birthday. The staff was excellent and made sure she had an exciting experience. The food was delicious. The waiter was very educated on the options and pairings. If you are thinking about coming to see the Christmas tree or Faris Wheel I highly recommend stopping by.
We chose Bond 45 for my 13-year old vegetarian son's birthday dinner. With four kids a dinner out is a nice, not-very-often treat, and it was important to me that everyone could find something on the menu they liked. This restaurant has a great variety of choice that will please everyone, and the portions were generous and the food really good. The staff also happily modified a recipe for my vegan husband. We had a great table near-ish to the bar with views of the water it was lovely. The servers were all super nice, although I think they were short-handed that evening -- my only complaint (and a minor one) was that it was hard to get their attention at times and we had to go hunting for them to get our bill near the end. We will definitely go to Bond 45 for dinner again, and would recommend it to friends.
Went for happy hour!! Great desks food was fabulous!!
Had a group of 11 from a conference. They did a good job of serving us without being intrusive. Food was fine but not spectacular. Space was nice.
The tomahawk steak and crab fries were delicious. Great view of the habor if you have the right seat (unfortunately we did not, even though I specifically requested that when I made the reservation). The fish dish was outstanding as well. Celebrated a special birthday there, and surprised that they did not bring a complimentary dessert to the birthday celebrant as many restaurants have done in my experience. Overall, great food, dislike the fact that there is no free parking in the area.
Celebrated an anniversary dinner here and couldn’t have been happier! Had a lovely table by the window and our waiter greeted us by wishing us a Happy Anniversary with a champagne toast. A++
Had a dinner reservation at 7:45, requested a nice view towards the Potomac for my girlfriend and I 4 year anniversary. Arrived at 7:46 and was seated at 7:50, we were placed in a offset room from the restaurant along with a dinner party of 6+ young women celebrating a birthday, not only did this make us feel like we are intruding on their celebration, but they were yelling over each other in their conversation to the point where my girlfriend and I could not hear each other from across the table... they were helped by one server in that area, and we were not asked or seen by waiter/waitress for 30minutes, not even for water, after we had told the host the occasion was our 4 year anniversary, and first time having diner at the National Harbor.
While waiting for a server to speak to us, along with not being able to hear our own conversation, my request for a view was not taken into consideration, for what we saw was the Regues building, and their dumpster area open with their garbage disposal, a dark empty building.
The time is 8:26 when we decided to ask for a Manager via random server helping tables across the hallway. After that we were continuously helped by multiple servers which we do appreciate. And we made best of the situation after the party of young adults had left, and we had finally gotten service to our table.
Great service and delicious food... All 6 of us were pleased!
Came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we had an amazing dinner. Our waiter even gave us a mini photoshoot when we asked him to take our pictures. We were there on the day of the tree lighting and we had to wait a few minutes for our table reservation to be ready. The food was very good and the portions were perfect! I had scallops and he had the steak! So Delicious!
Bond 45 has gone downhill. Its been 3yrs since I was last there and it was fine dining with quality service but now it’s like a chain restaurant where almost everyone in there is wearing, jeans, t-shirts and baseball caps. My wife and I were dressed up and had a 6pm reservation on a Sat. Took them over 15min to seat us and the waitress had too many tables to keep up with everyone. We will never go again.
The lump crab and shrimp was excellent!! The fried calamari needed more seasoning and maybe another option for the dripping sauce. Maybe a red sauce. Other than that it was a great experience.
Spaghetti was fine but just Ok. Salad was great! Corkage was $25 but worth it
My out of town guests loved the restaurant. My girlfriend enjoyed conversing in French with our waiter who was very personable and very attentive. Our pasta dishes were excellent. The service was outstanding.
Food was just ok. Nothing outstanding. It felt like it almost belonged in a mall.
Food was poor, service was worst.
Loved the place...Ordered the chicken Marsala and was surprised that it comes attached to the bone.
The only real issue is that we were not seated at our table until more than 20 minutes past our reservation time. Management did all they could do to "make it right," but it was still a significant delay.
It was our first visit...the atmosphere was very nice with good viewing of the Potomac! The brunch menu selections were all appealing and need to be warmer. Everything was expertly prepared and flavorful! Service was great...servers were very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It's great...I highly recommend..and I'll be back! Excellent experience!
Not on a Saturday night. Too noisy. Seating in the back, so-so service. Food was okay. Something like Maggiano's, but lots of bar flies standing in the bar area. You have to pass the bar to reach seating. They are rude and do not move. McCloone's Pier house is better.
We were taken to our table promptly upon arrival. Food and service were both outstanding!
The food was awesome; especially the crab Alfredo fries!
I was with a party of 5 for lunch and we all tasted each other’s food. We were very happy with our choices, especially the pastas. The cheesecake for dessert was also perfect! We will return!
