Cajun French Fries
It’s a pretty casual place, but the food is fantastic. I am from South Louisiana and I was impressed. They put a unique spin on some things and the flavors are fantastic.we shared charbroiled oysters and crab claws (amazing!). I had boiled shrimp, which were very flavorful and my wife had shrimp etouffe, which had a unique - and tasty - Asian twist.
Based on our meal, I wouldn’t say you’re transported to New Orleans, but it’s a delicious detour.
Went for my birthday and loved it! Delicious food and drinks, fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
Great crab legs! Get the smoked crab legs they are amazing. Sippin Santa is so fun, love the pina colada. During COVID the establishment is a little dead due to staffing issues and mandates, but usually the place is very packed and loud with good music!!
Had a date here for their holiday pop up. Drinks were strong and worth the cost. The decorations were cute but not too much. Dinner was great as well. I had blackened catfish with Mac and cheese. Definitely would come back again.
Great food, fun ambiance, especially in light of how difficult it is to run a restaurant right now. A service fee is automatically added, so make sure to notice it when tipping.
Went for sipping santa. Hostess was super annoying, killed the vibe for sure. Wait staff were great, drinks were subpar, don't think we'll go back.
Had a really good time at the sippin santa and was delicious. Was a little put off since they seated us 30 min after our reservation and then told us we only had an hour until the next reservation but it is what it is. Would still recommend
The Sippin Santa event was cool. The restaurant wasn’t overly decorated but, still a nice ambience and really good service. The food was just average and rather pricey for what it was. The special Christmas drinks as a part of the Sippin Santa event were tasty and festive. We had four drinks, two appetizers, and 5 entree baskets and with tip it was $320.00. It was good and a nice one time event to attend but, I doubt I will do it again. Also, be advised they ask you to not stay longer than 90 mins so they can turn the tables for other customers coming in.
Great experience all around! Look forward to going back for sure.
We had a great time visiting Bon Ton for their annual Sippin' Santa pop-up! The drinks never disappoint.
We enjoyed the Meatballs, Etouffee, and the Crab Cake Sandwich with a side of Smoked Gouda Mac N' Cheese.
Great Christmas pop up!
Currently decorated for Christmas and so fun!
We ordered boiled peanuts, French fries and oysters and all were delicious!
Christmas drinks were festive and cute!
Dining area seemed very small but there was an upstairs that we didn’t go to.
Checking for vaccinations or negative tests.
I had a great time at Bon Ton for a small Birthday celebration. Food was great and staff was friendly
Every time we go to Bon Ton we wonder why we don't go even more often. Ambiance, food, and service is always top notch. 10/10 would recommend.
Went with my girlfriends to check out the holiday pop up bar and it was a lot of fun! Food was great
Definitely not a true Christmas bar if that's what you're looking for. The Christmas drinks were okay, and really expensive. About $14/each. The server was really nice.
Went for sippin Santa and had the best time. The drinks were supurb and the menu had lots of options for non-seafood eaters
We went for the Christmas bar pop up and it was so fun and decorative. They did actually have us confirm vaccination status or have a negative covid test and I appreciated that. The servers were all so kind and the environment was fun!
One of my girlfriends was in town and we wanted to catch up over drinks in a fun atmosphere. We had a few apps and the mistletoe-to-toe, which is a holiday drink to share. It was great! Santa and Rudolph chilling in the drink via the glassware was the cherry on top.
From start to finish, every single thing that we ordered was absolutely phenomenal! Service was great too. This is going to be one of my new favorite spots 💖
Yum it was super delicious !!
The crab cake sandwich fell apart as soon as I picked it up. It would’ve been better if it stayed together. Service was good in the beginning but towards the end, we sat unattended to for quite some time.
Catfish & spicy broccoli is amazing
Service is not the best but the food is really good
Awesome service and great vibe. Food was amazing!
Bon Ton is the best little seafood spot/bar in Atlanta. It is truly a gem. The food is phenomenal and the cocktails are always delicious. You really get your bang for your buck and the servers are amazing as well.
Been here plenty of times and food and cocktails are consistently good. The problem on this visit was the addition of a 20% service charge added to the bill without notice by the server. That was new. I don’t mind adding the service charge to the bill because I always tip but at least a small heads-up would be appreciated. Keeping quiet about it while including a tip line on the final bill implies to me you’re hoping to be double-tipped. Not really cool in my book.
Hit or miss. I had the gumbo there once before and enjoyed it but last night it was HORRIBLE. and way too salty. it tasted like they opened up a can of Campbell's soup and added bits of sausage to it. We had the crab claws as appetizer and that was good. the French bread was good, very good. The fried catfish was good and tasted fresh though it came out dark brown not golden brown like it's supposed to which made me wonder if the grease it was fried in was old and burnt. And they ran out of rice! They said it would be a 30 minute wait. Rice is offered with over half of the menu items. How do you run out? When you see it's getting low, why not just cook some more at that point? Maybe the staff was young and inexperienced and unsupervised. We will not be back.
Great hidden gem in Atlanta. The menu is creative, but not too eclectic. Everything we tried from the drinks to the food was very good.
Amazing food and service. Love this place!
Our server was really nice. Everyone works well together helping each other out. We had the crab and shrimp boil and it was delicious. Mac and cheese needed a lot of salt and was luke warm but I bet if it were hot it would have been good. My cousins had the rice bowl and shrimp burger and said it was really good!
We had a great time!
The food was AMAZING! Everything was seasoned perfectly. It was little breezy inside but they turned down the air for us. Really really good experience will definitely be back.
Menu was a bit more limited than we anticipated but they did end up making a plate for me that was on the Open Table menu that wasn’t on the daily menu. Food was good— and FYI, Gumbo was super spicy! So much so that our lips were burning for 5 mins after one bite— otherwise food was okay. I’m scoring it lower only because of how limited it was.
This is our ~6th or so time here because I've had a few really wonderful meals here, but unfortunately they are just incredibly hit or miss so this will be our last time. Our fried oysters were over-fried to the point of almost being inedible, and we were unable to taste or even see any actual oyster under all of the fry batter.
love the ambiance and servers have always been wonderful
The 1 star is literally only for the fried food. The hostess with the blonde curly hair was awful as soon as we walked in. She didn't want to acknowledge we had a reservation (even though it was confirmed) and the restaurant was literally empty.. I would also hope that management consider educating their employees on what was on their menu i.e. I asked what type of oysters and she said she didn't know very snub. Also, the oysters were filthy! We eat oysters everywhere from Beetlecat to Fontaines, and have never seen oysters as filthy as these. Did the cooks wash them at all? Also, throughout the entire dining experience, our waitress, who happened to be the awful host, did not ask if we were okay or if we needed anything the entire time. Best thing was the shrimp poboy. Shoutout to the chefs for that. Please get a new hostess.
AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back! The food and service were excellent and they seated us early.
The ambiance is amazing. It's dimly lit and has great decor and artwork adorning the walls. The server we had was impatient and borderline rude. The food was just okay. We went expecting more Cajun style dishes and many of them were more Asian Cajun. The crawfish are seasoned well but extremely dry. The fish and crab claws are great. The drinks are the best thing on the menu.
Staff was super nice! It is always such a good vibe if you sit at the bar or normal seating. 10/10 would recommend!
