Amazing food and service. Love this place!
Our server was really nice. Everyone works well together helping each other out. We had the crab and shrimp boil and it was delicious. Mac and cheese needed a lot of salt and was luke warm but I bet if it were hot it would have been good. My cousins had the rice bowl and shrimp burger and said it was really good!

The food was AMAZING! Everything was seasoned perfectly. It was little breezy inside but they turned down the air for us. Really really good experience will definitely be back.
Menu was a bit more limited than we anticipated but they did end up making a plate for me that was on the Open Table menu that wasn’t on the daily menu. Food was good— and FYI, Gumbo was super spicy! So much so that our lips were burning for 5 mins after one bite— otherwise food was okay. I’m scoring it lower only because of how limited it was.
This is our ~6th or so time here because I've had a few really wonderful meals here, but unfortunately they are just incredibly hit or miss so this will be our last time. Our fried oysters were over-fried to the point of almost being inedible, and we were unable to taste or even see any actual oyster under all of the fry batter.

The 1 star is literally only for the fried food. The hostess with the blonde curly hair was awful as soon as we walked in. She didn't want to acknowledge we had a reservation (even though it was confirmed) and the restaurant was literally empty.. I would also hope that management consider educating their employees on what was on their menu i.e. I asked what type of oysters and she said she didn't know very snub. Also, the oysters were filthy! We eat oysters everywhere from Beetlecat to Fontaines, and have never seen oysters as filthy as these. Did the cooks wash them at all? Also, throughout the entire dining experience, our waitress, who happened to be the awful host, did not ask if we were okay or if we needed anything the entire time. Best thing was the shrimp poboy. Shoutout to the chefs for that. Please get a new hostess.

The ambiance is amazing. It's dimly lit and has great decor and artwork adorning the walls. The server we had was impatient and borderline rude. The food was just okay. We went expecting more Cajun style dishes and many of them were more Asian Cajun. The crawfish are seasoned well but extremely dry. The fish and crab claws are great. The drinks are the best thing on the menu.
Staff was super nice! It is always such a good vibe if you sit at the bar or normal seating. 10/10 would recommend!
My family and I came back into town from a short weekend road trip and decided to come to Bon Ton. It was our second time there and wow, the flavor! We got to etoufee bowls and they are amazing! They didn’t have oysters this time, which was the only disappointment. I’d still give a 10 out of 10! Bon Ton is easily becoming a go-to of mine!
I have not been here since pre-covid, but I brought a couple friends last night, and I am so glad we chose Bon Ton. I had forgotten what a fun, funky vibe the place had, and though it was loud (but good energy) and frankly a little warm inside, it was more fun inside than out (there is ample picnic table seating outside.) The well-conceived menu has much to choose from. The boiled peanuts (with I think a hint of Chinese 5 spice?) are so good we ordered a second bowl. Service was friendly and unintrusive (again, it was busy and kind of loud, so not a lot of chatting with server—that's fine). By the end of dinner we were all sweating a little from good spice and bad AC, but we left very happy. BT is back on my short list of midtown eats.
Food was great. The wait staff was very friendly. Music was a little loud but not too bad.
Extremely long wait for food. When food did arrive, part of order was wrong and missing because kitchen ran out of certain items, which we didn’t know about until too late to give a substitute. Had to wait even longer. Server apologetic and did good job of troubleshooting lackluster experience.
Quirky place and that makes it a fun spot to eat unique seafood and creole style dishes. I enjoyed the Heart Stopper platter with a variety of fried seafood and French fries the last time
I was there but this visit it seemed to lack the variety. The oysters were super huge which I don’t care for - like those smaller in size. Seafood is all ‘market price’ which is a bit strange that ALL of it is offered that way. Service was pleasant although she greeted us by saying “let me tell you what we are out of”. I know those places that have re-opened have had a hard time finding help. Maybe they were just a bit off because of that. They say you have to have a mask to come in but our table was literally 5 feet from the door so I appreciate them letting us in. It just seems nuts that everybody is sitting at tables and bar without masks but you have to have one to walk around - ?!

Decided to grab some food with friends. Great service. The parking is limited but street parking is available. The food is AMAZING and worth every dime. Definitely a hidden gem in ATL. You won’t be disappointed!
Although I'm not a big fan I brought my wife here because she's a big seafood fan. I scoped out the menu ahead of time and planned on having the roast beef po boy and my daughters the chicken po boy and fried chicken. They had no chicken, had no roast beef, had no oysters for oyster po boy, smh. We ended up leaving going to another spot. Our waitress was nice, it wasnt her fault but i was very disappointed on a busy weekend they'd be that unprepared for customers....
Food was good. Social distancing in place. Wait staff was timely and attentive. The only drawback is the annotated “To-Go” menu. Some items are not listed, but were made available upon request.
Food was quite average compared to the prize. We had the broil and it didn’t have sausage which was a surprise

I have been here several times and I usually enjoy my visit but this time was different. Our server seemed very spacey and not really aware of what was going on. We had to ask for everything more than twice like straws and napkins. Every drink he put down and there were no straws. He also disappeared for at least 20min and then suddenly would come back and say the kitchen is closing and we didn’t even order our food yet. He also did the same thing when the bar was closing. He did not even warn us beforehand. I ordered the fried catfish in a basket and it was all very salty. Did not enjoy this experience.

Our food was exceptional . We got what I would call Low Country Boil with Craw fish . Service was spot on. I would definitely recommend to others and plan on returning!
I really enjoyed my first time at Bon Ton. I got the crawfish, shrimp and a hurricane. The crawfish were a good size and a good price! I would definitely return for the crawfish and the atmosphere!
My partner and I had a great experience at Bon Ton. It was our first time there, and it definitely was everything we'd hoped for. I made a reservation for 2pm, and when we arrived we were promptly seated. We started off our meal with oysters which tasted absolutely delicious. I had a hurricane that was perfectly made. No skimping on the alcohol. My partner had crab legs, which came in a large portion and were seasoned excellently. I had a very flavorful and filling shrimp burger. Special shout out to our server Blake who was super helpful when we were making our food selections, and made sure to check in with us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back and try the crab cakes.
I made a reservation for 3 for 8:45. My family and I arrived at 8:38. We were told by the receptionist that they don’t honor reservations that has been made within the last hour. I said ok we went back to the car for another 20 minutes to be texted to come in. My waiter forgot my daughter’s fries and wanted to charge us 4.00 for a refill that we never received. Our food was great as always!
Really enjoyed this place. Great music, ambience, and friendly staff. The food was yummy as well. Try the chargrilled oysters when you go.

Great experience - from checking in to the end, everything was awesome! Our server, Bailey was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The drink we tried was a house punch - a winner for all of us. We ordered things to share and while everyone enjoyed everything we ordered, the faves were crab claws, the broccoli and the crawfish. Definitely will visit again!

I wish I could remember our servers name because she was great, she dealt with me ordering things that was no longer on the menu while also steering me in the right direction of what was current. I got the caravan cake dinner and he got the sandwich. I had 2 of the speciality drinks for Valentine’s Day and was not disappointed. The vibe was amazing and service was good per usual, my only suggestion is to bring back the oyster fried rice!
