Great place for fun and food! Nice vibe! Great music!
Food was great and the atmosphere was fun, but we had a reservation for 8:45 and were not seated until 9:30. Also, once we were seated, service was a bit slow. They may have been short-staffed, so I would go again to give it another chance.
We ate there for anniversary day lunch. The scene was cool. We really love the art displayed all around. The service was great and very friendly. And the food was amazing! We definitely plan on going back to explore some of the other foods on the menu!
Nice place , great vibez ...I’ll definitely go back !!!! Excellent staff except I ordered a drink took 1 hour ate my food , ask server what happened to my drink , he lied and said I didn’t order one .... but he checked my I.d. ! I preferred and it still took 30 minutes. Bartenders are good but not efficient.
Enjoyed our shrimp po-boys and gumbo very much. Restaurant is small, so it can feel a bit cramped, but the food and service were great.
Amaaaazingggg seafood flare! The ambience is amazing with a great twist of the 70s, and feminine aurora. The food was delicious, I had the seafood boil and it’s spice is superb and perfect. I also had the hurricane which was harder to finish but good! I will definitely be returning to explore this menu, but will opt for the bar. My server Christian kind of ruined the experience for me, he was extremely condescending and made it obvious he was annoyed that he had to serve me and my group. He also completely ignored that it was my birthday and rushed us out when I was clearly still eating. He literally attempted to hand me my check as I was dipping food into butter. But luckily the decor and menu excused his poor service.
We are from California and read the reviews about this place. It did not disappoint. The food was so delicious and the music/vibe was exactly what we were looking for.
First time here and was a very fun vibe. Great food and great service. I will definitely be back!
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and great service. The seafood boil was delicious along with the drinks and the gumbo.
Always love going to dinner here!
Loved the atmosphere.
This is mine and my boyfriend’s absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Atlanta! The food is delicious and has never once disappointed us. The ambiance is so moody and artsy. And the staff are all extremely kind and attentive. Every time we have friends or family in town, we bring them here. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Really loved this place. Casual atmosphere but first-rate food and service. Will definitely return.
Nice ambiance and great service
We were visiting Atlanta from Utah. We loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing. We enjoyed fun yummy mixed drinks. We would go back again!
Dinner was really amazing. I would’ve never thought to find this type of cuisine in Atlanta let alone a few mins from my apt. Food was amazing and awesome ambiance. Service could be wayyyyyyy better but it wasn’t bad enough that I wouldn’t return. They could just be more attentive is all.
It’s very loud! Small and close quarters unless you’re fortunate enough to get a booth (I’ve been multiple times with a reservation and I’ve always been place in the corner with three tables lined up - HATE IT!)
Food was good.
Last time I ordered a single catfish and received one piece? So this time I ordered a double and received four???
Someone other than our server noticed our empty glasses and refilled us multiple times. Honestly, it’s trendy and everything but service and ambiance hurt the food that’s for the most part delicious (received cold Mac and cheese twice - so cold that the cheese had solidified).
Food was good, we will be back!
Awesome place to eat!! We loved it!! Highly recommended the boil!❤️
Great service and cool ambiance
Menu was a little limited for my wife, who is gluten-free, but otherwise it was excellent. I’m from New Orleans, so I am tend to be highly critical of Cajun style food, but I had the crawfish Po boy and the gumbo and both were very good. My wife had the peel and eat shrimp, and they were somewhat spicy, but perfect for the way we like it. Overall, I would highly recommend, And certainly eat again
We hit Bon Ton for a pre-Wicked dinner and it worked out fine. We allowed ourselves two hours for dinner and time to make the short walk to the Fox. The menu has many different New Orleans-inspired dishes. I had the Bon Mie sandwich with blackened catfish and it was plenty spicy! Just what I was looking for too.
Don't forget the creative cocktail menu too. I tried a House Old Fashioned and then went for a bourbon Mai Tai. Both were well crafted and hit the spot.
I would definitely put Bon Ton on your pre-Fox show dinner rotation.
We ate here before Wicked at the Fox. Very walkable. The food was great,
Food and service was great. Fun atmosphere. Will be going back for sure.
This is a great small restaurant in midtown to grab some creole/ cajun boiled seafood
Loved the food and the vibe here!
In my honest opinion I would say the food was good. The sauces and the flavor profile of all the food was pretty much there. I was indecisive of where to take my boyfriend out for his birthday dinner but we opted on trying somewhere new, which brought us here. We had some high expectations due to reviews and we do work in the industry (myself a waitress and him a chef). That is why pinning it back to food we would say it was there. I suppose I can’t expect much as far as wine selection goes... but I do feel if one is to ask about a certain wine and you do not carry it then perhaps suggest something that falls under whatever one was seeking, or ask questions. However, due to the reaction of our server I didn’t feel that he was savvy enough to trust in his suggestions. I am a firm believer that what you drink has to compliment what you’re eating. My boyfriend was trying to enjoy the whole experience so he was being a good sport attempting to like the wine and finish it. To sum it all up the food was good, birthday note was put in and wasn’t acknowledged (at least a simple Happy Birthday would’ve sufficed), service was just okay. Overall rating for me is a 3.5/5.
The air conditioning was very strong but the food was awesome as always!
The whole experience was awesomeness!!The host Marcus accommodated the change in our party size with grace and professionalism. JULIA was a rockstar! We made friends with Steve and the other expeditor (brown sweater)Everyone in our party fell in love with BON TON and started planning their return even before with left. LOL
Food was great. Our waiter spent a lot of time telling us about all the must-haves for food and drinks. Can't wait to introduce more people to this place!
Everything was great, from the drinks, to the food, to the service!
Service was slow. My husband and I was seated quickly due to we had reservations, but did not have a server for almost 25 mins. The food was good and the environment was different.
I feel like it was all less spicy than usual. And the spicy jicama and papaya salad was a little different (still good). But the SMOKED SNOW CRAB LEGS ARE MY FAVORITE THING EVERRR! I love the vibe, I love the people, I love the food, I love the place.
Not really a memorable place but food was ok. If looking for some mediocre seafood with a Louisiana-flare, this may be worth stopping by. Bar service was extremely slow but waiter was pleasant. The lightly-breaded fried shrimp were pretty good and the fries seem hand cut and are very tasty.
Great atmosphere and ambiance. Food was good and so were the drinks. Kevin was a great waiter with very good suggestions.
The food is very well prepared and relatively inexpensive if you stay away from the "market price" items which are mostly crab. We had a spicy cold noodle appetizer which had just enough heat from spice to make it interesting. The meals were a crab cake sandwich basket with fries and slaw which was very good and mussels also with which were excellent. Inexpensive selection of beers. restaurant was a bit noisy with tables close together but the crowd seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere. The only downside is the parking lot which is not big enough for the restaurant and parking on the street is almost non existent without a neighborhood parking permit. We waited almost 30 minutes to get parked.
Fun time out with friends to celebrate birthdays with great food & solid cocktails!
Amazing food, definitely recommend the charbroiled oysters, blackened catfish banh mi, and moules frites! Our server was super helpful, friendly, energetic, and fashionable. This place has great vibes and energy, come here - it won't disappoint!
A friend and I who hadn’t seen each other for 15 years decided to have lunch/drinks at Bon Ton’s. It was wonderful! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu (both food and drinks) and was able to guide our meal choice. I’ll be back for sure.
