   Food was not my cup of tea but the ambience and intimacy of this location was on point. I would return for drinks and the vibe.

   This is a fun place to eat! It's eclectic and has a great neighborhood vibe! The food was fantastic! Highly recommend giving it a shot!

   Bon Ton was an adorable little New Orleans feeling restaurant. They were so kind and friendly there. If you are going to go on a night there is a show at the fox, I recommend a reservation as there is limited seating. The crab cakes were out of this world delicious! The shrimp burger would have been my absolute favorite thing, if it wasn't for the crab cakes! Just get it! You won't regret it!

   We had a great time at this gem in Midtown! No problem finding parking. The service was attentive and fun, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was jumping!

   I was very excited to try Bon Ton. Sadly, I did not enjoy my experience. I specifically asked "for health reasons, is the shrimp spice as in flavor or heat". I was told it is only flavorful, like Old Bay but better. So, we ordered the shrimp and the crab boils. The crab was great! Flavorful, juicy, and yummy. The shrimp was inedible. It burned our mouths, tongues, and ruined it for the rest of the evening. My friend, who enjoys spicy food, couldn't even handle it. We were unable to taste much after eating the few shrimp we had. We ended up throwing out all but three of the pound of shrimp. It bothers me that I specifically asked due to health issues and I'm unsure where the disconnect was. The atmosphere was great, fun and upbeat. The host was kind. Entire establishment was clean.

   Service and food was excellent! Noise is so loud it is hard to hear and talk. The food was really good and service staff very good. Server said that her family is from Turkey. She was so good to us! I could not hear her name though. 😄 will recommend to friends and go again. Not far from the Fox Theatre.

   Great spot. The music and vibe were awesome. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Let me begin by saying the worst part of this visit was our server. We started off with a dozen of raw oysters, the charbroiled oysters, and the cup of gumbo. The oysters were at Market Price (12). They were worth it. Fresh! 11/10. The charbroiled oysters were delicious! Fresh 11/10. The gumbo was not good. Consider I have cajun roots, my palate hits different. 3/10. That is giving. It reminds me of the Campbells gumbo in a can dressed up with herbs and spices. Main Entree: Crab cake burgers! My son was with me so this was a visit where the food could honestly be reviewed among two foodies. Also, he NEVER had one. We had all of the dressings on the side. This is helpful because you can really taste the food. My son had the CC burger with the red beans and rice. He added hot sauce and went to work! Red beans and rice 9/10. My side was the sweet potato fries. There were good too. Not fresh cut, but okay. The fries went good with the CC. CC burger 11/10, SPF 6/10 (only because they are not fresh cut). Bon Ton is a whole VIBE. Do not be fooled by outside. Music - VIBE! Ambiance - VIBE. What I loved the most was the freshness of the food at the time of night. We had reservations for 10:30 PM. Now, the issue. My server. She was not attentive. We waited a long time for her to see about our table for drinks. I did have the Hurricane to drink 11/10. Side note…strong and good. The Manager finally asked about us and he went and got it from the bar. Let me mention, the Manager was a Vibe! He worked the room and was smiling the entire time. Our server was horrible. No matter how bad your server is a 20% gratuity is automatically added into your check. The 20% is not my issue. I would have loved to have a choice. I also understand the reason why it is done. For the ones that do have an issue. Will I go back? Every chance. I will politely ask for her not to serve us.❤️❤️❤️ #smknrvz

   Food was amazing. Server was not so good. Forgot plenty of things. Didn’t put our drink order in. We got our drinks the same time as our food and we ordered our food after our drinks. The only thing that saved this experience was the food honestly. It wasn’t even busy and the service was just not good. Shrimp burger was good.
