This is our second visit to Bon Ami, and once again we had a lovely time. The outdoor patio in the evening was just right after a hot day. The service was excellent. I had the salmon but the Fisherman's Soup (aka Bouillabaisse) is still my favorite.
Excellent food & pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to others.
Delicious crêpes! Had the best time on the patio here! Would highly recommend 😋
Love Bon Ami! We usually sit inside, but last night was gorgeous so we sat outside. Cozy, shady and quiet. Weather permitting, it is a great alternative. Food was seasonal and delicious. I had mussels and my husband had Fisherman's stew. The wait staff always does a great job.
Food and service were both very good. Gravlax appetizer was excellent.
Friendly service, good food, fantastic happy hour and accommodating to young kids all add to a warm and welcoming place. We have returned time and again and have brought visitors.
Everything was great. Parking a bit of a challenge.
The waiter was great and we loved sitting on the patio. The cold beet soup was an incredible hot pink color that was quite fun. And while the food was a tad over salted for our taste, the textures and flavors were great.
Food is always outstanding! Limited menu. Service varies from poor to very good. We waited 15 minutes to just get a menu and a glass of water. We have been there several times. We like the food and ambiance, so are willing to deal with the service issues.
Server rang up coffee but failed to serve. Their patio is pet friendly which is great. Food is good and owner is very friendly. Just keep on your service to get what you want.
We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary at Bon Ami and couldn’t have been more pleased! Everything from start to finish was top notch! I had requested a booth which was provided and drinks were served within minutes of our arrival. The oysters were small but succulent, the Heirloom tomato caprese salad was generous and so very tasty. My husband had the beef bourguinon and was not disappointed and I had the Seafood crepe which was beyond delicious. We finished the evening with a banana, chocolate, almond crepe which was a perfect way to end the meal. We had house wine which was very complimentary to the meals we were enjoying. Our servers were attentive but did not hover. We will be coming back often and referring this gem repeatedly! Well done!!!
We are big fans and frequent diners of La Merise in Cherry Creek North and were thrilled to find this small, quiet bistro pop up in our neighborhood by the same owners. We LOVE the menu and will be going back to try each of the crepes. I have to be gluten free and most of the menu can be made GF without compromising the quality of the dishes...including Beef Bourguignon! The patio is perfect for summer nights - and happy hour as it is well-shaded and protected from the elements. Inside seating is quaint and the perfect atmosphere for quiet conversation. We just love Bon Ami!
The food is awesome! Great experience! Staff is attentive not intrusive.
Cute little hidden gem off Alameda. Great food and wonderful service. We will definitely return!
My husband and I have been frequent customers of La Merise over the many years it has been in business. We love this new addition at least as much--and we've been there at least a half dozen times since trying it out a couple months ago! The food is always excellent, the crepe entrees add a wonderful array of options, the service is fabulous, and it is just a warm and wonderful place to spend an evening with friends!
Bon Ami is a casual neighborhood eatery with French inspired cuisine. Good cocktails and oysters, and a great selection of wines by the bottle. Try the fried artichokes!
This place is one of my favorite neighborhood gems. It is so cute and the food is PHENOMENAL. staff is very polite, friendly and welcoming, and love that we can make reservations. I've been here many times and will keep coming back.
Fabulous food and great atmosphere very good wine selection. This is our favorite French restaurant. The pork tenderloin was superb wire phenomenal cream sauce. The plate was brought to our table piping hot ( Frank Bonanno at French 75 take. Note). Can’t wait for our next visit 😀😀😀😀
Second visit to this restaurant this month. Food was exceptional - I had the mercies crepe with filet mignon - excellent choice. My other guests had the 2 chicken entrees which were equally great. The chardonnay was the best I've had based on recommendation. Creme brûlée was divine and couldn't finish it - will definitely go back. This place is a true gem
Steak frites was great. Steak was cooked as ordered. Salmon crepe was delicious.
Bon Ami is one of our favorite restaurants these days. Cozy ambience, quiet with background music, and great food. Love it!
I really enjoyed this restaurant. We were not able to sit outside as anticipated as the only seats left available were in the direct sun, so we opted to sit inside. The only frustration was the lack of places to park. Parking was tricky and the traffic in the area was of no help to the cause. Since it was Sunday, we found street parking in a neighborhood that typically requires a residential permit on normal days (M-Sat). Other than the parking, the food and service were good.
My new favorite place in Denver. all i need to say to reach the required 50 characters.
Outstanding food and service. Best French food in Denver. Patio is romantic and perfect for a first date. They have everything from beef dishes to vegetarian. Exquisitely repaired. Best wine value as well, during happy hour for half priced bottles of wine. Although their pours are most generous and selection divine.
Beautiful place to spend an evening on the patio with lots of shade. Staff didn't make us feel rushed.
My husband's birthday is July 4 --- not a day when many of our favorite restaurants are open. As I was searching for a good restaurant that would be open that day, I happened across Bon Ami. We pass it every so often when we are driving on Alameda, and in fact had eaten there a couple of times when it was called Telegraph. We are so glad we decided to give Bon Ami a try! We enjoyed every bite. I had escargot and salmon; my husband had onion soup and steak frites. For dessert we had a berry crepe and chocolate mousse. Service was excellent and we do want to come back on a day when we can enjoy a meal on the dog-friendly patio. (It was pouring rain the evening of July 4). Our dog would jump at the chance to tag along as her people enjoyed a nice meal.
Overall, really good.
I took a friend who was visiting me from out of town, for dinner & she lived if as well. My 6th visit since restaurant week. I love this place!
We, a party of four, arrived during happy hour and enjoyed wonderfully mixed drinks and also ordered a great bottle go Cabernet Franc for 50% of normal price. The food was delicious, we enjoyed the escargot for an aperitif, two of us enjoyed beautifully prepared crepes, and the other two enjoyed the pork main dish and the other the steak frites. Both were delicious according to the individuals who devoured them! For dessert we shared two crepe suzettes which were very good, and a great ending to the meal. Also served is some very fine coffee. Well done Bon Ami!
The delicious menu makes it difficult to decide what to order. I wish a smorgasbord was available every time that I dine here! There are many standby plates that please everyone. Yet, the specials offer equally delicious plates not found every day. The staff is friendly and accommodating, speeding up last minute additions to the order already placed. I recommend Bon Ami for any occasion!
The brunch crepes are loaded with cheese - too much cheese. And, my crab crepe was simply a crepe folder in 3 layers as the base of the dish. There was nothing inside the crepe, so it tasted bland. We were very disappointed with the brunch selection.
We have not been disappointed each time we have dined at Bon Ami. While a bit pricey, the quality of food and preparation are both superb. Service was attentive and pleasant. Another very enjoyable evening. We will be back.
What an absolute gem this place is! Top of my list for Denver restaurants across all categories.
My new favorite restaurant in Denver. Alana has done a superb job creating a very European feel to the dining area. And the menu is terrific, a good variety of interesting dishes. Street parking isn't bad, not an issue.
Delicious food, friendly service, spacious patio, happy hour menu, easy to get reservations, kid-friendly. These are the reasons I give a five star review.
Who doesn't love a good crepe? The options were all a bit rich but very good and not overly salted at all. Lovely patio and good service.
This restaurant is lovely...especially the patio. We took our standard Poodle with us for brunch on Fathers Day! Food is 😋 delicious!
Bon Ami has great food and we love it there, however the service has been extremely slow and lack luster the past few times we've been there. It really takes away from the experience when the service is poor, especially on holidays like Mother's Day and Father's Day. We had 4 kids with us so we shouldn't have to ask for kids menus, it shouldn't take 30 min to order and then 45 min for food to arrive. Things like silverware, syrup, water refills should all be prompt but they weren't. It's disappointing because we love the food and ambience but unfortunately the poor service has left a bad taste in our mouths.
