Wonderful brunch! My third visit was exceptional. Delicious mussels and cream of asparagus soup. Others had steak frites-perfectly cooked.
Fantastic service and food
Early to arrive, we got to enjoy a very French corner of the restaurant...warm lamps, an intimate space for conversation. The escargot were perfect...just enough parsley, butter, and garlic on warm bread for my friend. (I'd love GF bread for me.;-) The Beef Bourguignon is outstanding!--full of flavor, lots of GF sauce, large, tender chunks of meat, and divine mashed potatoes, with a crisp, tasty salad to accompany. It was the perfect winter meal!
I just love the atmosphere and good food. I would recommend the fish special of the day and the crepes.
We love this place! All the food is good and the service is great. One of our favorites.
This was a wonderful evening. The prix fix menu was delicious as was the wine served with the dinner. All of the items on the menu looked outstanding with a great variety for everyone.
Delightful for Sunday Brunch. Loved the ambiance. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu.
We just took two very special friends to dine. They had never been to a French restaurant. We like to think of this restaurant as a special jewel. The service, food and staff are impeccable
Excellent bistro fare, crepes, salades and some traditional bistro entrees. We had the mussels as a starter, so good!, and then crepes. All was excellent!
Our meal was outstanding - service was too slow - you did not have enough wait staff.
The menu is fantastic - this is our favorite "French" restaurant. They have so many things to select from on the menu it will take awhile to try the many delicious sounding dishes. This was our second visit and we hope to have many, many more. Jaymus took excellent care of us and we will definitely ask for him next time we go. Go try for yourself! It's wonderful.
Very nice, as always
Great attentive service, food was delicious but portion sizes varied. Coffee was good too. P
What a great find. We loved everything. Only negative is very hard to find parking.
Saturday was our second visit in a week, and it was another delicious meal that we thoroughly enjoyed!! We tried some new items, and everything was very, very good. The service was excellent, and it was a lovely quiet atmosphere to enjoy dinner and a conversation. Bon Ami will be one of our new favorite go-to's!!
So delicious! Attention to detail was outstanding. Food was amazing and very complex and presented well with outstanding flavors. From the Escargot to Beet Salad to Sea Bass to Bananas Foster and lovely French Kiss...this is my new favorite French restaurant. So many other great choices on the menu...can’t wait to come back! A neighborhood gem is an understatement!
I loved that the menu accommodated the larger and smaller eaters. We'll be back.
Wonderful dinner and great service. This is French restaurant is a hidden gem in Denver - delicious food, great wines, and affordable!
Delicious food, welcoming and efficient service. Every variety of crepe I have tried has been well seasoned and tasty. Recommend the bananas Foster for dessert!
Felt like we were back in Paris. The baguettes were delightful, mussels were wonderful.
Overall this restaurant was excellent. The server was very kind and we never felt rushed yet always tended to. The food was delicious. Although the French onion soup wasn’t my favorite of all times, it’s certainly worth eating. The crepes were also really good. Stopped myself from licking the sauce off the plate!
Fantastic food! Service was a bit off but the servers were doing their best to rectify issues. We will be back again.
We always enjoy coming to Bon Ami. The food is consistantly good and the service is friendly and helpful. We also like it because we can hear each other talk - rather than the LOUD echoing at other restaurants.
Such a nice experience! Our dinner was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was quiet. We loved it!
Wonderful neighborhood gem.
This locale has changed hands way too much In recent years. Hope this one lasts...great variety for large and small appetites alike.
We enjoyed our meal. However, I have one suggestion fo the Parisian chicken entree.
I think it would be better if the chicken cutlet were pounded thin. It was quite a thick cutlet.
But very good flavor and a nice sized portion.
We enjoyed our first time here! Friendly and helpful staff and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. The French onion soup was a little salty, but the gooey cheese topper was great. After discussing menu options with our server, we both had the beef bourginon which was wonderful.
Great food and service. The crepes are super tasty and creative. Nice, affordable wine list, with greater value at happy hour even.
This was our first visit to Bon Ami but we’re sure we’ll be back. We opted to eat outside on the patio (dog friendly-good to know). Service was outstanding but the food was the real standout. My husband chose the seafood stew and I had the salmon with white wine sauce. Both entrees were perfectly cooked and artfully presented. Can’t wait for a return visit to explore more of the menu.
Amazing as usual! Food is scrumptious and they give generous pours of wine & other cocktails. Love this place!
Great food, great patio and darling bar area! Perfect for all seasons of the year.
Wonderful dining experience. Our brunch was delightful and a unique step from the norm.
The hash brown cake was a notable item. As well as the Bechamel Sauce, Merise Crêpe- and Crab Crêpe
Was excellent. I’ll be back again.
Great outdoor patio..... I wish the food could live up to it. My dining partner had the beef bourguignon and I had the onion soup and stroganoff crêpe. The portions were hearty but everything was salty. The soup was filled with croutons of bread under a nice layer of cheese. But it didn't taste like a good onion soup.... something about the broth that was salty and off-putting. The crepe came in the middle of my eating the soup, so I had to set it aside and let it grow cold while I eat the crepe. The beef was tender and plentiful but the crepe was either soggy or undercooked.... not very appetizing. The vegetable glaze over the crepe was salty. My partner though the bourguignon was good but again it was salty.
We had the chocolate mousse for dessert and it was the best part of dinner. The mousse was dark, rich and creamy.
Service was average. Our server seemed only present when taking an order or bringing something to the table.
Would highly recommend. We sat outside with our dog and had a delicious meal. We shared the mussels - a very generous portion and each had a crepe - mine with salmon and his with tenderloin. We were both thrilled with our choices. Desserts choices looked amazing but we were full. We will go back one evening for just a drink and dessert.
Server was unfriendly and sullen, seemed unhappy. Her negativity clouded our experience.
Our second visit and did not disappoint--on fact to was great. had the seafood crepe and it was fantastic. As usual the wines are great and well priced--bu the glass it is a large pour.
Wonderful, our goto place for wonderful French food.
I was thrilled to find Bon Ami! I feel like so many Denver restaurants are all the same these days...small plates. I wanted something for my birthday celebration with friends that is unique! The crepes are just that. I had the Beef Stroganoff crepe. (It was tough to decide which one, as there are lots of great choices!) I'm not normally a big, beef eater...but again, it was totally different, which was what I was going for. I was the "dude" at my table that night. Everyone else had white wine, but I went with the Cote Du Rhone, which was amazing! Their pours are extremely generous. My friend and I both got the chocolate mouse, which we lapped up...very good, very chocolatey, maybe a tiny bit heavier that a lot of chocolate mouse, but it was delicious! I'll be back!
This is our second visit to Bon Ami, and once again we had a lovely time. The outdoor patio in the evening was just right after a hot day. The service was excellent. I had the salmon but the Fisherman's Soup (aka Bouillabaisse) is still my favorite.
