Unfortunately the restaurant did not honor the reservation we made on Opentable. We had to leave even though we arrived before 10:30pm for a 10:30pm reservation because the kitchen closed early on this evening.
Very good food but a tad overpriced
A friend and I met at the Bombay Club for Sunday brunch. Although, the food was tasty, I felt it was limited. For 30+ pp, I expected a larger spread. The service was great and atmosphere was up to par. I do not plan to revisit for brunch, but may try them out for dinner.
Great food and excellent ambiance. Great spot for a date.
I love the Bombay club atmosphere. I've been there twice and the food has is very disappointing. For the price I expected better quality Indian food. There are restaurants in the DMV area that have much better Indian food at half the price. I expected Bhukhara quality food which I obviously didn't get.
Absolutely fabulous Valentines Day dinner! Food was creative, elegantly displayed, and delicious! Our waiter was attentive and unobtrusive and we will definitely return.
So wonderful. There was a live music on the piano. The food was so good and our waiter was amazing.
We had lunch in Valentines Day. Everything was ok until we ordered dessert. Ordering a creme brûlée at an Indian restaurant wasn’t the smartest move... the sugar was not burnt properly so it didn’t melt as it is supposed to. It was really annoying chewing the raw sugar so we couldn’t it. The server saw that we tasted it but didn’t eat it and he didn’t bother to ask if something was wrong with it. He brought the check and took away the whole dessert, he should have asked if we had finished or why we didn’t it it. I have to say the shev puri and chicken makhani were nice, but everything was ruined at the end.
Wonderful Valentines Day dinner. Service at Bombay Club always has great service and ambiance. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in DC.
Excellent service and customer-centered attitude. Food is always great, and I know Indian food. We particularly enjoyed the Crispy Kale appetizer and vegetarian dishes.
Visiting DC, and had the good fortune to be seated in one restaurant next to a local couple who seemed familiar with the food scene. They recommended Bombay Club. We changed some plans and went there. It was exquisite. We'd go back to DC simply TO RETURN to this restaurant.
Food nearly on pair with Rasika. Service presented well when it showed up, but waits for drinks and courses were unacceptably long and sans explanation.
The food, from the appetizers to the desserts, was absolutely terrific. Great spice combinations. Would highly recommend
The Bombay Club is one of the best appointed restaurants in DC with outstanding Indian food.
Enchanted evening with great delicacies.
It was a great experience! I’ve been several times and must say it is always good! The service, the food and the ambience (very old world colonial) are consistently excellent! Thank you!
Excellent food and service. Always happy with my experiences with Bombay Club.
One of my favorite DC restaurants never disappoints. Food is great and service excellent in a warm ambiance where one can easily converse without the hard surfaces common in newer restaurants.
Superb in all respects. Oxana R was a great server, the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the food (Goan Crab Masala, Lamb Vindaloo) was out of this world.
As always, very attentive excellent service and good food. They did not offer the crispy spinach as in the past but crispy kale. Although very flavorful, the oil was heavy and not very pleasant. Crispy spinach needs to make a come back. The piano player is a very nice touch.
Great option for a bottomless, no pressure brunch option. Crowd ranges from families to older couples, but a few young groups celebrating birthdays were there. In addition to your bottomless champage, don't forget to order juice (we chose mango).
Went for brunch, everything was great and we will be returning!
Delightful as always. The food, wine and beautiful room made for a perfect evening. This place has been a favorite for almost 30 years, and keeps getting better.
Great romantic date night spot with some of the best Indian food I've eaten.
outstanding food and drinks, very cool ambience with live piano music and not too loud.
Best brunch in town for the best price!
Great value for brunch! Enjoyed the experience
The restaurant is delicious. The food was authentic, outstanding and with great sized portions (not too big or too small). The service it truly great. I would just not recommend sitting on the table with the back to the bar window as it's a bit too hectic.
Restaurant Week, and they never disappoint!.fantastic!
