His MICHELIN-Starred modern Korean restaurant Oiji Mi hides an omakase-style counter in the back, bōm, which has its own MICHELIN Star. Here, 18 seats pull up to a bold black-and-white marble slab for a Korean tasting-menu experience featuring custom grills. About a dozen or more courses include Wagyu, king crab, fatty tuna, and other luxuries rounded out with refined versions of the requisite banchan and soup.

Everything about the experience at bōm was fantastic. The servers were so attentive and welcoming. The entire restaurant staff that helped and catered to us throughout was fantastic. The food was divine and the desserts were delightful. They even bought out a music box that played happy bday whilst a cupcake with a candle was presented to my brother. A truly lovely experience.

Nothing was mind blowing. One of the meat dishes was under seasoned, which is unacceptable for a one michelin star restaurant.

Probably my favorite dining experience in NYC so far. Really consistent dishes with high quality ingredients, the only thing is I wished they had one or two more bites that were more exciting (less safe). Overall the meat quality and seafood freshness was amazing and the plating and deco were on point. Service was probably the best out of all the Michelin’s I’ve gone to so far at NYC.

Amazing experience. Every course interesting and flavourful. Courses were timed well and despite having the Wagyu addition we didn't leave feeling overly full, as you sometimes can with multi course menus We did the Exploratory wine pairing and the 2 sommeliers were engaging and fun and clearly loved what they did. Definitely an expensive experience but we loved it

We loved our dinner at Bōm. They were accommodating of a last minute cancellation of two of our guests and of one of our dietary restrictions. The food was unbelievable and the service was impeccable.
