    The "order at the bar" gives a more casual vibe than in the past and the service could have been a lot better. However the food did come out from the kitchen promptly.

    Exactly what you would expect from a bistro style eating , nothing fancy, good friendly atmosphere. Attentive staff and service that was efficient.

    Delicious meals and very decent portions. Had a choice of slaw or greens with our meals which came with chips. We chose greens and were very impressed.

    When we first walked in the ladies meet us with a smile and the night just got better from there. Food was amazing and was quick to come out. The lady that brought it out was so full of life & you could tell she loved her job. Can’t wait to go back again.

    Play area in dining room way too noisy. Not fault of restaurant, just one very loud kid .

    After a slight mixup with one of the meals being cold it was taken back and replaced, all meals were great and a huge serving, thanx, will be back

    For the price of the menu items I was expecting this to be a bit more high class than it was. Bolters Grill seems to be stuck in some sort of time warp, the decor and overall feel of the restaurant is 1980's RSL, however the prices shout high end restaurant. Although the food was good, I had Chicken strips and my wife had the dumplings for entre, they are very much mass produced frozen products, not home made. Portion size was large, 5 strips and 5 dumplings, I feel it could have been improved if it was more quality than quantity. The fish and chip main I had was disappointing, again frozen fish that was very oily and overly salty chips along with a passable coleslaw and store-bought tartare sauce. My wife had the Richotta Gnocchi which in istelf was pretty good, however paying an extra $9 for seafood which consisted of two prawns and two scallops seemed a bit high. I feel the overall experience was marred by no table service, which you kinda expect paying these prices for what is ostensibly pub fare.
