Good time lots of fun bowling
Nice experience at Bol. One of the best Old Fashions I’ve had in awhile - not sweet. The arugula and prosciutto flatbread was delish, really liked the crust. My daughter had the Caesar with chicken and that was pretty average and expensive for what it was. The brussel sprouts were excellent! Service was pretty good overall and fast. I personally dislike the lighting in the place, not warm at all. Takes away from the experience IMO.
Outside seating in beautiful Vail village. Our service and food was excellent.
Had lunch outside, it was a beautiful day! Quick service and hearty portions, we had the fried green tomato BLT, a Cesar salad and the wedge in our party of five-we would dine here again!
Way too noisy!! The food was good but pricy. Don’t
order the margarita. It only had 2-3 oz in the glass for $15!
I always order tuna poke and this time was so spicy I ate a bit but mouth and lips were burning. The edamame was between cool and Luke warm. I left fast as new my stomach would not be retaining the food, I was accurate.
On top of everything, the waiter went to have parking stamped but when I left it charged me $45.00. This is second time this has happened to be this summer after dining at Bols. Eric practically called me a liar even though I have tickets and food receipts which all show the short time I used the garage.
IMG husband has Parkinson’s and Dementia so I could just not turn around and return!
This is a very fun place. I was told when we stopped by the day before our reservation that we would have no problem getting an outside table because our reservation was early enough (6pm) that was not the case . We also mentioned at that time that we wanted to bowl a game or 2 and nothing was said to us about reservations for that. Very disappointing. The food was delicious and the service good too.
2 mini fish tacos for $24! Overpriced and can hardly hear yourself think. Bar help was somewhat rude and not willing to answer question, just slapped a menu in the bar. I won’t return.
Bol was beyond accommodating. First we had an outdoor table then they moved us indoors when it began to rain. Food was amazing and service was great. Highly recommend
We were surprised at home much we enjoyed our lunch! Given it was smack dab in the middle of a super tourist town, we expected overpriced mediocre fare. We were all so happy to be wrong!
We only tried two items - the Fried Green Tomato BLT and the Mojo Chicken Sandwich. The BLT was tasty, but we kind of had to search pretty hard to find the fried green tomato.
The chicken sandwich on the other hand was fantastic. Perfectly grilled and VERY flavorful! All 4 agreed the chicken won the day hands down
Great evening to sit outside for dinner. Best BLT ever!!!
Great ambiance and service too.
Fun time, good drinks, unusual but great food
Loved the wait staff! Buffalo chicken was VERY spicy hot.
Long time local. Love the food and it keeps getting better and better. The service for whatever reason keeps going downhill. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the host yesterday by asking for a slight move of an umbrella to shade the table more for me and the two children I was with. I asked if we could move an umbrella and he said no. That was it. No. It’s just not a friendly vibe being greeted anymore.
It’s obvious that the management has tried to cut costs , certain dishes were significantly cheapened from prior dining experience there.
Good food and nice outdoor setting. A bit pricey but on par with Vail premium.
The tuna poke was excellent and so was my salad. Everything else was a bit bland. Definitely not worth the amount it cost.
The Watermelon Limeade is made with charred watermelon...interesting flavor. Rib Sliders were very tender, 3 generous sized. Berry salad had dollops of goat cheese, 5 different berries.. very tasty. I had Rocket & Prosciutto Flatbread, which was excellent, but a little too much arugula for me. Comes with Alfredo sauce, but could hardly detect it, which is good for me, as i don't care for it much.
We had an outdoor dinner reservation for four on a day with afternoon thunderstorms. We called to ask whether we could have an indoor table and that was fine. We were glad that they could move us.
We got a booth close to the bowling area which was somewhat loud, but not too bad. Our server Rachel was very helpful and friendly. She made some good recommendations. We ordered several small plates and salads to share. All dishes were very nice. We really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken flatbread and the ceviche.
The restaurant has a good selection of drinks from beers to wines to cocktails.
The interior is very modern with lots of TVs.
More veg options would be great!
The food was delicious 🤤 it’s was a good celebration
Nice food and great services. Prices are high but within Vail standards.
We sat outside and nice umbrellas protected well from the sun and rain.
Great family dining
Great food as always, but menu has been paired down significantly. You must bring back the Ruben!
Everything was terrific at Bol -- service, food, ambiance, etc. We had lunch on the patio and really enjoyed it. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of items on the menu and how delicious the food was. The only complaint was the loud music playing.
Don’t be fooled by the fact that this is a bowling alley! The food is amazing and the service was great.
We had a group of 6 for a late lunch. It was great. Food was good. Crispy Brussels sprouts were fabulous
My first visit to Bol for a late dinner after a Bravo Vail concert. I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi, which was excellent. Noisy setting.
My son loves the kids burger. We are going back for the third time.
Fun venue with good food.
Booked patio and was told it would be 30 or more min wait. Host was rude and could care less. So we just ate inside where it was loud. Waitress didn’t want to be there but was timely and did ok. Maybe staffing on patio was issue but just tell us that. Food was good.
Service was terrible, food was cold and served at different times. Waitress was very rude
Sat on the patio during the Go Pro games. Atmosphere was great. Food was way overpriced and very average. Service wasn’t great but they were super busy
One of my favorite places in Vail! Lamb lollipops are to die for.
For the restaurant - really good food and service. The ambiance leaves a little to be desired as it's pretty basic and cold. For pretty basic bar and grill food, while very tasty, was quite expensive, especially the alcohol - for our party of four that had four appetizers, two burgers, 4 beers and 4 cocktails that total with tip was almost $300. The bowling was separate and was very fun but again somewhat expensive at $200 for four of us for 90 minutes of bowling with shoes (no food or drinks included). So about $500 total for a light dinner and bowling. So, while a very nice evening, it did seem on the expensive side. Even so I would highly recommend it for a fun evening out, just be aware of the price tag.
The best burrata that I’ve ever had! All of the food was wonderful.
We sat outdoors. It was fun and the staff was friendly. Food was really good but wished for just a little more variety. Looking forward to returning someday.
Very pricey for what you get. Food was excellent but portion was small. Ambiance was hip and modern. Kids where running everywhere. I was waiting for a collision with a server with a tray full of food. Sure...there is a bowling alley in the back so I expected to be a family friendly..but much it was MUCH noisier than I desire when I'm paying $40 an entree and $25 for a glass of wine (I left my kids at home). I'd recommend this restaurant if you had a bunch of kids with you and you wanted to be as loud as you wanted....and you want fine dining food/high end wine & cocktails.
