Service was slow. Super noisy with screams kids. Meatball appetizer was super dry and the salads were really watery. The ahi poke appetizer was delicious. Good wine too.
All very good
Food was pretty good for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.
Excellent waitress, loved sitting in a booth, and the food was delicious.such an interesting menu!
Food coming from the kitchen was a bit slow and timing was off. Appetizers took 25 mins and then entrees arrived 5 mins later. Also - the combination of ceramic plates and glass tables is NOT good. We all felt like we chasing our plates around the table to cut and pick up our food. Could use place mats or the like.
I got the ahi tuna poke and it was delicious, my son had the ribs and my other son got a steak. They said they were amazing. My husband got the bol burger and said it was just ok. The fries were really good. Drinks were delicious, cool vibe and great service. Prices were reasonable for Vail.
Fun atmosphere. Food exceeded expectations. Reasonably priced.
Bol has become a favorite of ours in Vail. Absolutely love the experience. The food is amazing. The lamb lollipops untouchable. And it just gets better from there.
Had a great late lunch. The fungus amongus starter, aloe water and Manhattan were my personal favourite.
Good was good for its intended genre - slightly upscale cafe food. Server was unknowledgeable about food intolerances, though, and we had bad experience with everything ordered. She apparently did not know what we were talking about and/or did not know how to talk to the kitchen. Also, seemed blase about one error that was caught - didn't offer to re-prepare food, just a small discount. A few dollars doesn't do you much good if the food made you sick with pain and discomfort the next day.
Danielle tried to convince me that the most expensive plate, the steak, was med., rare, it was done and tough. The appetsrs and cedar was great.
I don't mind paying for a good meal, I refuse to be patronized by staff.
A talk about, "weird of mouth" advertisement might solve the issue. I've been coming to Vail exclusively for 7 yrs. I probably won't try Bol again. We'll see.
Brian is awesome!
Service was very slow. Quality of food was average. Will not return
Used to be a great dining spot. Not now. Food was cold and not very good.
We had a cold and an unedible appetizer. We sent it back. The service was incredibly slow and underwhelming. The overall service was subpar and the bill was astronomical for what we were eating. Good ambience. We won’t be back.
Great food! We tried a lot of appetizers, everything was delicious! Cool ambiance. We were disappointed that we thought we were bowling with dinner and drinks. Our reservation was just for dinner. We watched Texas win the Sugar Bowl while we ate! 5 TVs in bar area. We will definitely go back!
COMO SIEMPRE EXCELENTES ALIMENTOS Y MUY BUEN AMBIENTE
We ordered burgers. Rare orders came medium. Medium orders were very well done. Glasses of wine are expensive. No house wine options that are more reasonable. Nice contemporary setting. I made rez on open table and it was the only restaurant I didn’t earn 100 points during my week in Vail.
The service was slow. The starters were fantastic but the seafood platter was average
Had a really nice time, wish we could have stayed for bowing!
This has been our go to restaurant for years. This was our first trip back for two years though, and while the food is still good, it feels as if they are trying to fit too much on the menu. However there is masses to chose from if you are gluten free, which is rare. Very lively and fun and great cocktails too.
Extremely Disappointed. We booked a table of 4 for a birthday dinner and specified Gluten Free. We requested house wine, and were charged higher than regular wine btg prices. The meal that the menu advised could be done gluten free came without the requested sweet potato fries, after confirming with the waiter that they were actually roasted, and not in a shared fryer, and that I wanted them. When questioned, the waiter said those fries had wheat on them. No dessert was offered (even though it was a birthday dinner which we advised when we sat down). Bill was incorrect (prices on bill did not match menu prices, and were upcharged) + we were charged for wine we ordered, but they did not have, and therefore not served. Pasta dish was served cold, and even though re-cooked, came after everyone else had finished (so their meals would not also get cold).
Room is modern and contemporary, but without atmosphere on a quiet night.
I had the lobster salad, which was outstanding. Very good service, lovely location. We'll be back!
Really good food at reasonable prices (for Vail). Try the ribs!
Food was much better than i expected.
Absolutely LOVED the menu, the food was delicious, but the warm crisps and calamari appetizers were exceptional! The atmosphere was perfect for our vacation anniversary dinner since we were looking for something nicer without being too formal or pretentious. We were also able to go bowling directly after and they rolled our tab over to our bowling lane in case we wanted more drinks. Overall it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be visiting Bol again!
Tho we’d been told the restaurant was very separate from the bowling alley in the same bldg, the feel of the restaurant felt a lot
Like a sports bar, large TV’s all over, white plastic table, and a fast paced feel. The food was ok, the service was friendly and helpful but we’d would never go back.
Excellent concept backed up with solid food choices and wine selection.
Fun atmosphere with great drinks and food. Definitely a must do with a group of friends! We dined and then bowled after and it was a great night. Only downside was the service was a little slow, but very friendly. they close at 10:30 which seems to be the norm for the area.
We have been here several times over the years and the food has been really good. This time it was absolutely awful. You can tell it has gone down hill as there weren't very many people in there and after our experience. Just go to bowl-not to eat!
It’s an upscale bowling alley, so don’t expect a quiet meal.
The food was good, but several things on the menu were gone by 830 PM.
But the staff was very nice and the bowling was really fun.
Best dining experience while we were in Vail. Fun atmosphere. Excellent food. My wife continues to rave about the tenderloin.
Awesome experience and superbfriendly staff! We took our three kids and had an amazing time! Will come back soon!
Food & service were good.
3rd time back this year, everything was good. Creative comfort food. Very reasonably priced for Vail. Bowling is fun too, if you can get a reservation
Modern chic. Great staff. Food was rich but super delicious. Over priced, but that’s Vail!
Buen lugar. Casual. Algo caro
Always a great spot in Vail, very tasty and fun for everybody. Prices are a bit steep even for Vail, and on busy nights it can get a bit loud. Minor quibbles, this is one of our faves in town.
