   We HATE that they put an automatic 18% on the bill for gratuity. If the server deserves more, we give 25-30%, but if the tip is added to the bill, that is all the server gets. It is rude to your guests to add the gratuity to the bill. And if the server was not a very good server, they do not deserve 18%. Our server tonight was extremely knowledgeable, and knew the menu as if he wrote it. He was friendly and personable. However, was rather slow to return to the table.

   My experience at Boketto was overall very positive. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The only downside was the seating arrangement—my table was a bit too close to others, which made it difficult to engage in conversation comfortably without overhearing nearby diners.

   We loved our evening at Boketto! The venue is beautiful and our server, Jayda was excellent. She described the items on the menu beautifully. We shared the Boketto Roll between the three of us and had the Chilean Sea Bass, Scallops, and the Truffle Mushroom Ravioli. Wow!! Definitely recommend all three. We also split the Wedge and Caesar Salad. Delicious, but even split, one salad is enough for 3 or 4 people. They were huge. I highly recommend Boketto! A venue with an upscale vibe and a real plus for Twin City food lovers. We will definitely be back!!

   Our food was fabulous and our waitress was fantastic. The bar here does not know how to make classic cocktails which is disappointing. I ordered a dirty martini, it was sweet and the bartender told the waitress that the sweetness was in the olive juice. Olive juice is not sweet. A dirty martini is classically vodka ,vermouth, and olive juice. Nothing sweet there, and the bartender said she doesn't use vermouth?? I asked the waitress to take it back and ordered another . It took 20 minutes plus to get it and it wasn't as sweet but it was still sweet. Very disappointing again. The waitress took it off our bill because it took so long to get it, we were done eating and about ready to go. The bao buns are fabulous, as are the ninja rolls and all their salads are great. Any bartender, though, should be able to make a classic cocktail. The staples here are a lot of fruity cocktails and that is not what I want to drink. We will probably be back but I'll ordered a gin and tonic, that's hard to mess up.

   Boketto is a new restaurant. September 2024. They are in a learning curve but have potential to be a very great west end restaurant. Had a few snafus with various things during our dining expereience. But pointed them out and I’m sure they’d will get better. We will be back.

   We experienced the best dinner we have had in a long time. The food was some of the best I have ever had. The blue fin tuna and the mushroom pasta was out of this world! It’s a must go!! Bring the extra money you found it’s not cheap but is worth it

    Excellent first experience. Decor is on point, especially the blue tile and chair fabric, lighting is beautiful and just the perfect amount. Service was brilliant with prompt refills on drinks. My husband loved his wine and the Diet Coke was the most perfect amount of carbonation - which really matters! We shared a wedge salad, which worked out great portion wise and the blue cheese dressing was phenomenal - I was told it is home made. I also really appreciated the finishing salt on the salad! We both ordered ribeyes and they were cooked perfectly to the right temperature and were incredibly flavorful and tasty. Best I’ve had in a long time. We ordered mushrooms and asparagus for sides. They were average and what you would expect. Overall loved our experience. The price is definitely higher than many steak houses around town but luckily the food and service made it worth it. The one thing that brought down the value of the experience was a TV screen in the bar that was fully visible in the dining room. I had to switch seats to not see it while trying to enjoy the ambiance.
