Boil Seafood House
Amazing food. Great service. Waitstaff and bar.
Food was amazing. Our server Justin was awesome. When in town again I’m def visiting
$55 crab legs had a piece of hair on it. Waiter never brought the manager out to even apologize. When they brought my food out a second time they made it super hot and I ask for low so I did not even enjoy the food. need to work on customer service and at least accommodate or bring out the manager when something is wrong ESPECIALLY when it comes to HAIR IN THE FOOD
Best boiled seafood I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in New Orleans 37 years.
Our waiter was amazing and funny, she made our time at the restaurant even better! Food was amazing and well affordable!
Loved that they still have crawfish this time of the year!!!! Already a plus for me!❤️ Would live to cone back again!
Great location, good food, awesome service. Justin was a delight.
A little pricey, food was pretty good. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food and menu.
Everything with the meal and the experience was great... Until the end when we asked to split the check. The server literally lost her mind. She couldn't comprehend how to split a meal between two people. The handheld payment device was acting up and that's pretty much when she lost it. I've never seen someone get so confused and angry so fast. There were several kids around and she was cussing like a sailor. That's just not how someone should react to a common request.
I would recommend this place because the food was incredible. The service however, could have been better. The place had like 20 tables in the area we were in and it filled up pretty quickly. I went without a drink for nearly 15 minutes. I was a server for 10 years and that's just something that shouldn't happen.
Our food and service was absolutely impeccable! The bread basket appetizer (free) was phenomenal and the margaritas were strong! We all ordered different meals, surf n turf, seafood in eggplant, steaks, fried green tomatoes, gumbo, it was all yummy! The service was quick and our drinks never went empty. At the end of our meal we were asked if we wanted to tke a group picture with the chefs . It was adorable!
Great food, our waiter K was amazing, he really made the whole experience so much better. I would definitely suggest this to everyone.
Our food was good...for the people that received their meal. There were a few people that didn’t get their food on time, something to do with running out of pasta. And when they DID get their pasta it wasn’t cooked all the way. Server needs to let people know when they are going to be charged for something extra, even if it’s as simple as $.50 for butter. But overall flavor of the food and everything was GREAT!! Would definitely come back....with fewer people (to avoid gratuity and check issues)
Out of everything we ordered i really loved the grilled oysters. As for the rest, I think I’ve had better seafood, but give it a try. You might like it
Service was great! Our server had great suggestions and explained everything very well. I think the sauce on the boil was a bit bland and could have been a bit better flavor wise. Otherwise that is my only note. May try again, whenever I travel back to NOLA.
Amazing! Super attentive and amazing food!
FANTASTIC!!!!! Thank god for the touristy hop on/ho off bus! That is how we found this. We love seafood and this place IS THE BOMB!!!!!!! Kearica was our waitress and was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. From apps to dessert, including drinks, she did not fail us. We now have another favorite place to eat in NOLA and in the Garden no less. ❤️❤️
First day for our waitress... got the wrong spices for $57 order
Great place to taste NOLA food!
The best seafood I've had. I cannot wait to go back. Definitely worth the drive away from French Quarter.
my sister and I were in New Orleans from Chicago for a family reunion and we were looking for some place to go to try something we never had and the boil Seafood House was exactly what we were looking for . The food was great , the drinks were great , and the service was great as well. I believe our servers name was keerica and her energy was amazing and I thank her for helping us with our many questions and great service. Out of the few restaurants we tried boil Seafood House was our favorite. We are planning a trip back and we will definitely be back with more family.
The blue crab had almost no meat. Since there were 3 on our order, we had a lot of wasted food. Shrimp were very good and spicy.
Great food and great service by K.
We had a great server, the ambience was nice but that was about it. The prices are a bit too pricey for the amount of seafood we got. The appetizers were down right not good at all and over priced as well. We traveled to New Orleans just for the food and chose this location based upon good reviews. We enjoy dining at new places and love seafood, needless to say we were disappointed.
What a great place. Table was ready as promised. Waitress with good recommendations. Food was wonderful. Great experience all around.
The thing to do at Boil Seafood House is order seafood options from the big board on the wall along with the desired seasoning and level of heat. We ordered a pound each of blue crab and mussels for my wife and I had shrimp and know crab. I was fabulous. With drinks and tip I spent $140. We enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch two days later. We fried oysters were had in a platter and on an oyster po-boy showed that their culinary skill is found in their boiled selections. The oysters had a lot of breading and not much seasonsing to enhance the oyster. We would highly recommend the boil options on the big board.
We enjoyed this place a lot, especially because it was one of the only places open during the threatening hurricane! The oysters and shrimp were good, and the service was helpful and attentive, even though the place was short-staffed,
Al was a wonderful server and was very knowledgeable! This was my 2nd time at Boil and I will be back whenever I’m in the New Orleans area!
It’s was really nice! We sat at the bar the server was awesome. I highly recommend. Prices were great too.
We made a reservation but did not realize that they put large parties upstairs and they do not have an elevator so we had to wait for a table downstairs for about an hour. They hostess and the wait staff was very helpful and friendly.
Excellent service and food!!!
Kierrica was our waiter and she was PHENOMENAL!! She was very helpful in making our first New Orleans Cajun seafood boil experience great! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food was amazing! Everything was piping hot and very flavorful! Make sure you dine here for a great Cajun experience!!
Our waiter K was absolutely fabulous!! Each dish he recommended was perfect!
Amazing food. Seasoned well and spicy. Seafood was bomb and bread as well. Will be going back when I return!! Highly recommended.
Something different , our server K was excellent !! I’ll definitely be back
Food was amazing, Justin (our server) was amazing... & did I say food was AMAZING. One of the best seafood boils I’ve ever tasted.
We had the Cajun platter and separately ordered mussels. Cajun seasoning on first and garlic on other. It was delicious
Great service, food was delicious. Came here while on vacation. Wish we had one in a Florida!!
Great Food with new twist oN seasoning.
The food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed our meal, however, it took a little long to get drinks. Overall, we would definitely recommend and look forward to going back.
Great service ! Kay the Server from Maui was the best to help us enjoy the experience, he was great host! Don’t lose him he’s a keeper!
