Boil Seafood House
Our server was great! Food came out quick and was awesome!
The best seafood I have had in a long time! The boil seasonings we’re rich and full of flavor! Anyone who likes seafood will love this place! Will be going back next time I’m in Nola!
The host had a horrible horrible horrible attitude. Our waiter barely checked on our table. And my card was over charge 20 dollars, when I called to let them, they did nothing to try help me get it back, i will never come eat at this location ever again. Disappointed.
BOIL Seafood House exceeded all of my expectations. The shrimp and crawfish were cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic, and the murals on the wall were breathtaking. This is now definitely a must-go every time I visit New Orleans.
Waited for a while even with a reservation. We were told that they ran out of blue crab (which was the reason we went) then we proceeded to order a few substitutes and everything we were asking about we were told it was either not good or it was bland and we would have to add our own spices since we were from New Orleans. I ended up getting char boiled oysters and the flavor was surprisingly good, except they over cooked them and they were so small they stuck to the shell. I wouldn’t go back too many disappointments.
Amazing!!!!!!!! Loved this place. A little expensive but definitely worth it
This place was awesome food was on point and fast me and my boyfriend got so full the prices are not that bad
seafood was AMAZING.! the restaurant is small, however its definitely worth the experience. I will be going back again.
I was in town for my bday trip to N.O. & wanted some seafood soooooo bad. I went to Landry’s seafood the day before & while their prices were great, the food was NOT!!! After asking some locals I was recommended to The Boil Seafood House & was warned about the wait list/reservations.. The food was soooo good my party and I are STILL 5 days later talking about the seafood!!!! We live in Houston Tx & everyone here thinks they can make the best seafood boil & never have it tasted as good as you all’s were. I’m already making plans to return mid October and will be paying you all another visit for sure. If the prices were a tad bit cheaper that would make this place even HARDER to get into due to the line waiting to get in. Coming from Houston, our Snow Crabs are 12.99-14.99 as were you all’s are $29 : / . Food was great overall. Also the Strawberry Mint Lemonade drink was BOMB ! Bartender is perfect my drink wasnt watered down nor was it too strong. I could taste my $$ worth.
I’ll start by saying my wife and I had a great time at this establishment. The staff and service were beyond excellent and the food was great. The downside was having reservations and still having to wait 30 mins to be seated. I guess that’s what’s to be expected for great food. It got a bit loud at times to where we couldn’t hear each other talk but it was a great experience and the atmosphere was positive. We will definitely be back and will also recommend this place to family and friends.
The restaurant was great! The atmosphere was very laid back and fun! I had the Bang Bang shrimp and Snow crab legs in garlic butter. The food was excellent and our server was fantastic. I will definitely go back when I visit New Orleans again.
We are there twice in three days!!! The boil sauces were amazing!!! We had the boil house and cajun. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood.
It was 10 of us for my husband birthday. We enjoyed every minute of it. The food was excellent. I will come back again if I’m New Orleans again.
Had a great family dinner here. We ordered raw oysters, crawfish and king crab legs. Oh and broiled lobster! Food was not over cooked which was great! Server Damon waited on our party of 9 hand and foot! He was wonderful! Would have given it 5 stars but the crawfish were a lil on the tiny side and the heat on the crawfish was mild to be instead of moderate spice. Had a great time and would go back when I’m visiting my mom in New Orleans.
We are from Chicago, we came to NOLA as a group Birthday trip. The Birthday girl requested a boil, we came across Boil House and OMG were we beyond pleased! It was a small quaint place and I am glad we ate there on a Wednesday... I can't even imagine what the weekend, even a Thursday, looks like. The waitress was amazing and the boil...!!!.. PHENOMENAL!!!! The most incredible food/boil I have tasted in my 36 yrs! I'm sad we didn't go there again before we left!!
Loved the place and the food. Its small so get a reservation. If you’re a local and enjoy your seafood with that “make your nose run” spicy then get the hottest spice.
Great seafood! Intimate space. My mom and I loved it! Definitely be ready to get your hands dirty.
Amazing food. Great service. Waitstaff and bar.
Food was amazing. Our server Justin was awesome. When in town again I’m def visiting
$55 crab legs had a piece of hair on it. Waiter never brought the manager out to even apologize. When they brought my food out a second time they made it super hot and I ask for low so I did not even enjoy the food. need to work on customer service and at least accommodate or bring out the manager when something is wrong ESPECIALLY when it comes to HAIR IN THE FOOD
Best boiled seafood I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in New Orleans 37 years.
Our waiter was amazing and funny, she made our time at the restaurant even better! Food was amazing and well affordable!
Loved that they still have crawfish this time of the year!!!! Already a plus for me!❤️ Would live to cone back again!
Great location, good food, awesome service. Justin was a delight.
A little pricey, food was pretty good. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food and menu.
Everything with the meal and the experience was great... Until the end when we asked to split the check. The server literally lost her mind. She couldn't comprehend how to split a meal between two people. The handheld payment device was acting up and that's pretty much when she lost it. I've never seen someone get so confused and angry so fast. There were several kids around and she was cussing like a sailor. That's just not how someone should react to a common request.
I would recommend this place because the food was incredible. The service however, could have been better. The place had like 20 tables in the area we were in and it filled up pretty quickly. I went without a drink for nearly 15 minutes. I was a server for 10 years and that's just something that shouldn't happen.
Our food and service was absolutely impeccable! The bread basket appetizer (free) was phenomenal and the margaritas were strong! We all ordered different meals, surf n turf, seafood in eggplant, steaks, fried green tomatoes, gumbo, it was all yummy! The service was quick and our drinks never went empty. At the end of our meal we were asked if we wanted to tke a group picture with the chefs . It was adorable!
Great food, our waiter K was amazing, he really made the whole experience so much better. I would definitely suggest this to everyone.
Our food was good...for the people that received their meal. There were a few people that didn’t get their food on time, something to do with running out of pasta. And when they DID get their pasta it wasn’t cooked all the way. Server needs to let people know when they are going to be charged for something extra, even if it’s as simple as $.50 for butter. But overall flavor of the food and everything was GREAT!! Would definitely come back....with fewer people (to avoid gratuity and check issues)
Out of everything we ordered i really loved the grilled oysters. As for the rest, I think I’ve had better seafood, but give it a try. You might like it
Service was great! Our server had great suggestions and explained everything very well. I think the sauce on the boil was a bit bland and could have been a bit better flavor wise. Otherwise that is my only note. May try again, whenever I travel back to NOLA.
Amazing! Super attentive and amazing food!
FANTASTIC!!!!! Thank god for the touristy hop on/ho off bus! That is how we found this. We love seafood and this place IS THE BOMB!!!!!!! Kearica was our waitress and was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. From apps to dessert, including drinks, she did not fail us. We now have another favorite place to eat in NOLA and in the Garden no less. ❤️❤️
First day for our waitress... got the wrong spices for $57 order
Great place to taste NOLA food!
The best seafood I've had. I cannot wait to go back. Definitely worth the drive away from French Quarter.
my sister and I were in New Orleans from Chicago for a family reunion and we were looking for some place to go to try something we never had and the boil Seafood House was exactly what we were looking for . The food was great , the drinks were great , and the service was great as well. I believe our servers name was keerica and her energy was amazing and I thank her for helping us with our many questions and great service. Out of the few restaurants we tried boil Seafood House was our favorite. We are planning a trip back and we will definitely be back with more family.
The blue crab had almost no meat. Since there were 3 on our order, we had a lot of wasted food. Shrimp were very good and spicy.
Great food and great service by K.
We had a great server, the ambience was nice but that was about it. The prices are a bit too pricey for the amount of seafood we got. The appetizers were down right not good at all and over priced as well. We traveled to New Orleans just for the food and chose this location based upon good reviews. We enjoy dining at new places and love seafood, needless to say we were disappointed.
