We both chose the same entree (limited choices) - the octopus was perfectly grilled but the accompaniments were precious and almost unidentifiable. I had the duck liver toast appetizer and it was delicious. Stay away from the white wine from Lebanon - not metallic as the waiter described, just bad. Would return if in the neighborhood.
I do love this place for its inventive menu, comfortable yet chic vibe, and wine selections. We sat at the counter and our waiter recommended a fantastic red by the glass ... just wish I'd taken a photo of the label!
Cozy eatery with impressive brunch covering omelettes to Benedict done four ways. Sweet and savory crepes fill out the offerings along with Mussels Bavette steak and salads. Winning, attentive staff. Small group table in back
it was a very satisfying experience. Our waiter, Anthony could not have been nicer, particularly the 5 year old in our party. Glad to find a gem in my neighborhood.
Nice birthday celebration. Back room allowed us to hear each other. Tomahawk steak was huge...good for sharing. Ordered the seacuterie plate, which is always a pleasant surprise for friends that have never been to BoHo before.
Best new restaurant in the Marina. Go! You will not be disappointed. We had the Carrot Ginger Soup, Compressed Persimmon Salad, Steamed Mussels (amazing broth), & Prime New York Steak.
OK experience, but not fantastic.
I keep coming back to Boho because I love it! It's cute not frilly, just clean and fresh food that is delicious. It's def a neighborhood gem. I also appreciate their service. It's always friendly and fast!
Most of the dishes were great but two from our party got the pork chop which was recommended by our server and it was awful. Pork chops for us are a treat and we were so disappointed. The short ribs and tuna tartar were great, but everything was tarnished with the pork chop.
I like this place as it’s a bit hidden, not so busy as many other places on Chestnut, and has a bit of a different style and character.
Really great find in the Cow Hollow neighborhood. We both ordered the special short rib with vegetables. The short rib was melt off the bone delicious. It sat in a creamy polenta with earthy mushrooms, sweet baby carrots, greens, and seasonings . The chocolate dessert was to die for and included roasted butternut squash, brittle, and large chocolate "bar" -- think of a very rich Three Musketeers bar. Service was spot on. Good little wine list. Night we went, it was very slow. Hope people support this place...
First time at Boho and it was incredible! We went to brunch for a belated birthday and Boho upgraded us for a lovely glass of champagne. We ordered the Mussels, Avocado toast, and duck crepe w mushroom sauce- everything was delicious. Will certainly be back!
Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and beautiful space. This will now be active in my brunch rotatuon. Run, don't walk to this gem in the Marina!
Gem of a restaurant. Food has been consistently excellent on our two visits in last month. Inventive without pretense. Wait staff is very good. This place is now high in our rotation. Would recommend.
The restaurant is beautiful and the service was terrific. The food quality was also very good but the menu selections were under par. With a fairly limited menu to begin with, they were unable to serve two of the entrees at 6:00 on a Friday night.
Don’t go. We left early during a pre fixe. They tried to charge us for 2 bottles of wine, we ordered one. The food was inedible.
I was extremely disappointed with every aspect of this night. The service was terrible, we had to ask for silverware, napkins, water, etc. we waited forever in between courses. The food was over salted and not good.
Way over priced for the type+quality of food. Won't be going back.
Service was prompt and cordial, explained the menu well. He allowed me to taste a few wines before we settled on a great but pricey red (I was not a fan of the white wines they offered). BUT THE FOOD was out of this world. So yummy. Carpaccio appetizer with whole grain toast, grilled sausage with grain mustard. I had the pear salad with greens and hazelnuts and butternut squash soup and my man that the paparadelle in a savory broth with mushrooms and a soft egg over the top- fantastic. I wish the tables were more comfy and the atmosphere was warmer. Loved the bar in back and the open kitchen. We will return for the food, for sure and the great service.
Everything was excellent! Thank you for great breakfast, food and service were amazing! Highly recommend!
A really nice brunch spot with yummy food and hip environment. The Pork Belly Benny was yummy!
Unpretentious, clean and comfortable, BoHo is a cut above the rest with an inventive menu, great wait staff and surprising foodie flavor touches. Check-out their absolutely innovative cock- and mocktail offerings!
Please try the mussels. Don’t ignore the broth which is divine.
Staff and service was fantastic. We enjoyed all the food but wasn’t absolutely incredible. Relaxed environment
Food was overall good, but inconsistent quality. Music selection was strange.
I’ve been before for a Sunday brunch and liked it. For dinner, there is no ambience, it lacked the Friday night buzz you get in great restaurants. They need to do something different with decor and layout. We have the seacutterie and it was amazing but everything else lacked what you’d expect for location and money.
Boho is the best thing to happen in the Marina in a long time. Really exceptional for a neighborhood restaurant. Brunch and dinner are always fabulous.
I went to boho because of such high ratings on opentable, but I didn’t think it was nearly as great as the ratings suggested. The food was just good/okay and restaurant layout was awkward. Also, the waiter kept coming by to see if we were done eating our main dish even though the restaurant was not busy. And when we finally said yes we were done with our mains - he rushed to interrupt our conversation to see if we wanted dessert. I found it rude and a big turn off for my experience there. He was pleasant early in the evening, but his rushed nature later on was very annoying and rude.
The food is excellent and the service good and friendly. There are some innovative items on the brunch menu. We will definitely return.
We were a group of three with varied tastes, so tried several things on the menu. The branzino fish was outstanding and beautifully presented. Expensive at $34, but enough for two people. My vegan quinoa and vegetables entree was tasty, but nothing special and a little overpriced ($17) for the very small quantity. The mussels in broth was delicious and the burger, just okay. The decor is warm and inviting and the waitstaff very friendly. It's perfect for the Marina and I'd definitely come back.
Excellent service and tasty food!
Tasty, creative dishes, great service & ambience. Will definitely come again!
food was excellent so was the service ..George was great ..wine was excellent and a pretty good price point
Upscale farm-to-table vibe in vibrant neighborhood. Small and intimate setting. Delicious food. Excellent service. Wish they had gluten free bread option as my family has gluten sensitives. We just didn't eat the bread.
Excerpt from my 12/17/18 Yelp review: "The owner (Stella), chefs and entire Boho staff go above and beyond to delight their customers. We had reservations (highly recommended) for Sunday brunch, December 16th. I had communicated with the owner before making reservations for an annual Christmas lunch. Stella was highly responsive and very thoughtful. Everyone at Boho is devoted to making your dining experience truly exquisite. I was so impressed with the pictures from Yelp reviews that I made a special request for the Seacuterie (for 3) and Napoleon (which we shared). The Compressed Persimmon Salad (kale, pomegranate, cacao nib, macadamia, ricotta) is an absolutely perfect combination of flavors and paired well with the Seacuterie. My friends were torn because the Winter Menu had such thoughtful and creative offerings (for example, should we order Eggs Benedict served with choice of either Duck Confit or Burrata, prosciutto but then there were special meal offerings for that day or perhaps the classic Steak Frites or Steamed Mussels? Decisions, decisions!). We wanted every item on their menu." ... "Metered parking is free on Sundays and with reservations we walked right in and had a wonderful cozy table surrounded by windows in front where we had a perfect view of the wintry weather and passersby busily going about their Christmas shopping." ... "Will I return? Count on it."
Please see 3 pics I posted in Yelp review.
Our server was new and made sure we were aware. That's a good way to go about it. We were there for brunch, I had the Croque Madame and my companion had eggs with bacon. Mine was delicious but much like a glorified ham and cheese sandwich, the eggs and bacon plate was fine nothing special. She did enjoy the potatoes that were on the side though. We may come again to try dinner.
A good place for a low key brunch
Very happy with this new addition to the hood. Easy going, charmingly friendly, super solid. We enjoyed the brunch options, the love for detail when eg serving tea, and the nice service.
Food was delicious and service was good. The decor was a bit casual for the menu and the lighting was a bit bright for a romantic dinner.
A bit overpriced but wonderful food. I know the young folk like it noisy, but I don't. Go early if you want less noise. The chocolate flan
