Great place to dine for any occasion.

Great experience. Food was excellent as was the overall ambiance. A bit pricey but good food and wine isn't free!

Wow! When I made the reservation for dinner on Open Table, I indicated that it was for our 15th wedding anniversary. This was our first visit to Bodegon. The hostess, bartender and waiter pulled out all the stops! We had a great time, fabulous meal, and super service. We can’t wait to go back!

For some reason, we thought this was going to be a find dining experience. It definitely wasn't, so if you're not expecting that, you might not be as disappointed. The ambiance is beautiful, but the food was so-so. The mahi-mahi was overcooked and tasteless. The Moroccan meatballs didn't have much of a spice and the fish fry was just okay. The charred brussel sprouts were tasty.

Food was very good, but a bit overpriced. Service was exceptionally slow.

They recently changed their menu, which came as a shock to me and my GF, as we had planned to enjoy some of their excellent Spanish tapas the night we went. The first thing we noticed is that they drastically cut down on the selection of tapas-style items, which was a bummer (RIP shishito peppers, you will be sorely missed), but luckily they still had their trusty croquetas. We decided to go with the flow in there new menu instead of marinating in anguish at the loss of some of our favorite tappas, and I'm glad we did. My GF ordered the Wellington, and I chose the scallops for our entrees. Both items were cooked to perfection, despite the seemingly hectic buzz floating about in their open-concept kitchen (at one point, I swear I saw a string of tickets long enough to make a scarf out of). I was quite impressed with not only the quality of the food we had, but also the quality of service we received. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, and our food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time, much to our surprise due to the aforementioned surge in busyness. Needless to say, despite the change in their menu, they've made some repeat customers out of these impressed guests; well done, guys!

Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Noisy place, pricey and very limited menu for spaniss style restaurant. Fair visit, good food excellent bread, iberico ham cut too thick, mushrooms good, pulpo needs more meat less fillers

You can’t go wrong ordering here. The menu is phenomenal, especially the meatballs and street noodles!

We enjoyed Bodegon very much. Our waiter was incredible, to the point that I tried blood sausage, which I never thought I would. It was delicious! Each item we shared was wonderful and the key lime pie at the end was a perfect touch. It's a little too dark for me, but otherwise a wonderful restaurant.

The homage to Bruce Lee with corresponding food and drinks hit it out of the park!

Super dark. I know! I’m old :) but seriously couldn’t read the menu. The waiter was overstretched. Food was great.

Food was outstanding! I would recommend the brussel sprouts, the meatballs and the noodles.

Definitely one of my favorite places in town! The dishes are so creative, out of routine and outstanding. The octopus is fenomenal with lots of flavor. Their interpretation of beef Wellington is so good and perfectly cooked even better than in one of the fancy popular steak houses in town. This place is a jewel in Milwaukee.

Fabulous, all around. Our waiter, Michael, is the best. He's taken care of us before and we were lucky enough to get him again. Maya, another member of the wait staff and friend of my son, also stopped by the table -- everyone is so friendly there. The food is stellar -- such a variety of dishes and we did our best to try as many as possible! I called the day before our reservation to ask a question about the menu and the hostess must have written a note to the server who somehow, miraculously presented us with a favorite dish that wasn't on the menu that night. What service and attention to detail. The chefs, wait staff, hostess, bartender -- all super. Thank you for a great meal and experience.

Great food and superb cocktails.

The food and service were once again outstanding. Aga was above and beyond to bring us the best of best in service and the guys in the kitchen did the same about the food. Just an amazing time!!!

The server was able to guide us through the menu making great and useful suggestions. Food was excellent, with a fair amount of variety.

It was a really pleasant time I rarely eat my entire meal but did today. The potato’s were delicious and served really fun in the dish. Overall I will be back again very soon.

Such a comfortable place and the server was amazing!!! The food was average...we expected the small ahi tuna plate to be cold.and tuna raw or seared but it was cooked and medium temp. A bit disappointing but overall, it was a nice experience!

I took my husband here for his birthday brunch and we had a fantastic time! From the second we walked in the staff was attentive, thoughtful, and professional. We loved the atmosphere and the food. The staff knew it was my husbands birthday and they were so sweet and made sure to make it extra special.

Our party of 6 had a fabulous time Saturday night at Hotel Madrid. We had the table right by the kitchen, and it added such fun to the evening. Our mouths watered with every plate that was presented from the kitchen, and chef humored us with details and jokes. We had a wonderful server who was attentive to our needs, and even assisted us in celebrating a birthday without us even asking.
The drinks- amazing cocktails, mock tails, beer, and wine. Not a lengthy list but good quality and variety to make anyone happy.
The food- oh how I miss eating fresh jamon on the streets of Barcelona. So good here. Scallops were perfect, beef ribs so tender, beef Wellington delicious. Chocolate cake- it fed 6 of us, a had a surprise kick.

Will definitely be back. I’m not sure how this restaurant did not make MKE Journal 2019 Top 30 Restaurants, but it is certainly on my list!

Overall it was good, the food was decent we only came for apps but would like to try a full dinner. The service was slow but it could be because we only ordered apps? For a place that has expensive items on their menu they may want to figure out the woman’s bathroom soap situation. It was in a sauce bottle/ ketchup bottle which I found to be a little odd.

The Madrid Benedict was exceptional, and the service was wonderful. Our family really enjoyed the unique food selections.

Our reservation was canceled at the last minute by the restaurant. They left me a VM several hours before our anniversary dinner. They indicated they had a wedding that night. I asked them why accepted my reservation in the first place. I was very disappointed with how they handled this and will not go back.

Wonderful service and loved the assortment of items on their menu. The tuna tare tare was outstanding!! Had the scallops and another had the wagyu burger. Fantastic!!
