Overall a good experience my only negative comment is that I felt as if we were being rushed. The wait staff kept coming every couple of minutes to ask if we were done although we clearly were working on our food. Restaurant was not crowded. Became annoying
Took my boyfriend to Bodega Negra for his birthday and invited his friends. Everyone loved it.
Food and drinks were excellent. The table started off with guacamole followed by tacos for an appetizer. The margaritas were good and the staff was friendly. I had the steak fajitas and they give it you in an interesting presentation . It was excellent but make sure you dint eat l the lemon or bite on then hot pepper. Desert was excellent. This is a great place to for a special occasion and will make you feel young. The music is however loud.
FABULOUS!!!! Interiors + Most delicious food + great service!! Always consistent and wonderful.
Excelent food ! Totally recommended
Absolutely an amazing restaurant 🙌🏽
Great place and food!
It was amazing I will definitely be going back again.
Took my future fiancé for a nice evening out. Jonathan, our waiter tended to all of our needs. Very friendly and outgoing. Our meal was cooked to perfection by Victor, and he even came out to greet us after sending him a thank you note.
A special night night for both of us!!!!
This was my first time at Bodega Negra and I was not super impressed. The food is crazy expensive for the portion and definitely not close to the best Mexican food I've had in New York at less expensive places. The drinks were good, so I would say better for drinks than a full dinner. The service was semi-friendly.
Everything we ate was delicious. The service incredible. The ambiance fun but not overwhelming.
Love this place SO much! Every time I have friends visiting I bring them here. Great for people with food allergies (I’m gluten free). So much fun and great vibe!
Excellent restaurant with a party vibe. People enjoying the food and music-not their phones. Excellent food and drinks
Great place for a birthday party. Great music. Great vibe. Food was good and presentations were really fun. Only downside was our waitress disappeared for long periods of time. Had trouble getting second round of drinks, the bill, etc.
Food and drinks very good. Very loud but ok music. Hard to get water for table multiple requests.
The food was fresh. I ordered the steak tacos and empanadas. Full of flavor.
Nice we’re nice.
Quite pricey but other than that I give it five thumbs up. I will definately be dining here more often.
We were very disappointed !! We were rushed Through a whole dinner. Everyone who worked there was always trying to pick up Our plates while We were still eating dinner.
They have some kind of performance at 11:45 PM on Monday .They were more concerned about setting up for that event then taking care of their customers .If you want to stay you must pay $125. Per person.
Came here for my anniversary. Great music great food. Fun night. My server was great.
Bodega Negra is a nice date place and I was impressed with the food, it's definitely not a cheap meal so I wouldn't recommend this establishment if getting a bargain is your goal but the shrimp enchiladas (monthly special) was really good and flavorful. The margaritas are good and the quesadilla rustica is a nice appetizer. Our server was quite knowledgeable as well and gave us a rundown of what specials they had. Overall it's a nice place to go to for a special occasion and I would come back.
The food was tasty and large enough to be shared. The drinks were equally as satisfying! My fav about this restaurant is the romantic ambiance. We will def be back to dine in.
Tha ambience is good !!! The food and the service
Very cool place. Great food and fantastic people watching.
the bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected! it’s a shared bathroom
i believe. the service was alright overall. totally disappointed in my drink especially how pricey it was. the one good thing was actually their dessert that they’re popular for.
Beautiful scenery and the vibe was very cool. The food was pretty good. Deff a good tome and looking forward to go back.
The food was delicious but the portions are small for the price
Love the food!! Great Atmosphere and music was great!!
Tables very cramped and slow at front desk
I booked a reservation for 3 people and they put us at a table in the bar that was so small that our food didn’t fit on the table. The manager said we shouldn’t have been sat there if we made a reservation...we didn’t choose this but it was were the host sat us. By the time they found a table big enough, our food was cold and they didn’t try to rectify this. They DID offer a free dessert. None of us eat dessert so that was hardly a offer. And through it all, no manager ever came back to check on us. The management is very poor! This restaurant is extremely loud! And the food is moderate.
Place was nice. Word of warning: Double check the tip calculation on the bill.
Went for restaurant week and my whole group really enjoyed the food. Excellent service and really cool decor inside. The tacos were my favorite
My fiancee and I went during Restaurant Week and we were so glad that we were able to try some of the menu favorites! Very friendly staff and great service. Food was great!
Loved the food but felt rushed during dinner. Has someone approach every few minutes. There was an event planned at night and were aware of that, but didn’t get to fully enjoy our time since we felt pressure to finish every drink and course quickly.
Food Staff and Service was great
Really small tables for tall men. They tried to sit us at a table really meant for 3-4 people and I was basically falling off the side. We requested new table, waited 30 extra minutes for a table almost the same size.
Cool vibes. Food could have been better for price. Probably will not return.
Amazing food and drinks with a fun atmosphere. Great for group dinners or a date!
The food was surprisingly good, but of course super pricey
More of a place fir large groups who want a Trendy
We had an amazing time. The food was sooo good. We had the chicken tacos (ordered a 2nd helping). Also had the Shrimp Alambre (perfectly bbq’d) and the ribeye. The green rice and coconut rice hit the spot. Lawrence was an added plus. He was engaging, without being pushy, very knowledgeable when it came to the food and drinks, funny and sweet. He brought us birthday Henny shots (loved them). It was definitely loud, but the music was on point for our bday date. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Great for special occasions like birthdays etc. The guacamole is very good as well as the flautas and tacos
