Staff did an amazing job with attentive service (it was a Monday night) and the chef knocked out some amazingly high quality dishes quickly. We don’t live in the area, but if we did we’d definitely be there often.

We always enjoy going to Malbec. The empanadas are fantastic as are the main entrees. The only down side may be the noise level at times and the parking can be somewhat difficult.

Overall very enjoyable. The food was delicious. The service was a bit flighty— it was not super crowded, yet we had to ask after our drinks and food more than once (3 of the 4 would come out and we’d have to remind them to bring the 4th).

Went here for a Birthday dinner been coming for years the food is exceptional! Great ambiance food and wine. I have had birthday Celebrations and other small events and have never been disappointed. This is a must-try in Toluca Lake.

Nice ambience, although a bit noisy inside. Good service. Interesting menu with Argentinian inspired choices. We had the 3-course Dine LA set menu. Food was nicely presented, and portions were on the large side. All the dishes were cooked perfectly, although we liked some flavor combinations better than others. Wines were unusual and very good.

The food was delicious and they even read the request for a birthday dessert for my mom and I didn't have to remind them. The service was a little slow but they were very busy for a wednesday with only one waitress. The owner the waitress were both lovely to interact with. We would definitely return!

My babe and I had our dinner here tonight. Sat outside with the sidewalk. The interior looks nice. We tried their dine La menu. It was $55 per person. Each person get their choice with appetizer. One entree and dessert. Prix fixed. My bf had the salmon tartar and duck. He said he like it. I had the scallops and filet mignon. Both of our Portions were decent and tasted good. They served complimentary small bread slices with this balsamic olive oil with herbs in the beginning--which I really like the sauce. We both got the panacotta cream as desserts which was just ok. It's like thick yogurt kinda thing with a fruity sauce. The service was great and attentive enough and considerate. Overall a very pleasant experience:)

3 of us had the scallop appetizer which were very good. The 4th in our party had the salmon, avocado and mango tartare which was also very good. The problem was that it arrived 15 minutes after the first three appetizers. 2 of us had the 2 langoustine / filet mignon entrees. They were out of langoustines which is one of the reasons we chose Bodega Malbec. We were given 4 small shrimp instead which in no way makes up for the missing langoustine. In addition, the shrimps were over cooked to much that they were hard. The filets were ordered medium rare but came out medium which for filet is criminal. They tasted like liver. The other 2 of us ordered duck breasts medium rare. They came out medium which mean they were dry. What a waste! The desserts were pretty good and the service was very good.

This place is lovely if you were looking for an intimate experience with great food. There’s nothing about the experience that makes you feel rushed, you really can sit and enjoy conversation good food multiple courses all in an intimate dining settling.

Delicious food. Really nice back patio area. They also have a kids menu that is off the menu. Just ask them. Everything is good there from the steaks to the fish to the chicken. Pasta also wonderful.

We enjoyed our dinner at bodega malbec, however, unfortunately the entraña was really hard which is not a good thing for an argentinian restaurant of this category.

I have been going to Malbec for years and I have always loved it and the Paella was one of my favorites however they have now changed it and not only do they only have one size (made for two) but also they changed the rice and seem to have cut back on the Saffron making for a bland dish.

Great food, excellent waiter. Person at the reception had not read the notes I had written on my OpenTable reservation. When I arrived I went over the notes with her and she said she would be happy to relay my request to our waiter. She did not. As a result, it made an otherwise very enjoyable evening somewhat disappointing. Will still return to this place as it is a very good restaurant.

Overall, the experience was lovely. The servers and backup staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out in a timely manner and was quite tasty. Our skirt steak was particularly good, which makes sense in an Argentinian restaurant. It wasn’t ridiculously expensive for the quality of the experience. Our one complaint is that they had a restaurant which was half full and they sat a couple right next to our four top, Rather than seating them In one of other numerous tables. The couple was quite loud to boot. That, with the current Covid situation, made their choice of seating us next to each other a dumb one. Otherwise, we were very happy and will definitely go back again.

We ordered Rib eye, NY, and Skirtsteak with some sides. I recommend just going with Skirsteak. The other two were tough and had no flavor, even though it was ordered at medium rare. The recommended bottle of wine was decent, and so was the staff. Not sure if I will go back as I think I can do better at other joints with the amount of money I dropped here.
