   We had family passing through Birmingham only for the evening and spending the night on their way home after spring break. Bocca is AMAZING! We will come back again.

   Lovely date night location. The drinks were delightful and the service was good, but I feel the food was overpriced. The Arancini was flavorful, as was the bucatini. The snapper was also quite tasty. But in general, the food for the price was just adequate. A little overpriced.

   Absolutely met every expectation! Stag was awesome, dining experience was like being at one of the fine restaurants in Rome or Milan with the quantity of food to match! No a negative moment to the evening! Well done, Bocca! We’ll be back!

    Boca was excellent. The ambiance and food are really simple clean and refined. Food was a bit pricier than some of the other fine dining in Birmingham but overall excellent meal and evening.

    Always excellent, personable service from Tatum! We had the handkerchief pasta, risotto, red snapper, veal marsala, and tiramisu and chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious and filling.

    We called ahead for reservations for my son's sweet 16th celebration. They had a personalized placard waiting on the table and gave us extra special treatment. The cuisine was quite complex, and yet every ingredient complimented the other to perfection. We will definitely be back!

    The ONLY drawback was a table of loud people beside us. No way the restaurant can control for that but it did affect the second half of our meal.

    We love this restaurant!!! The food is delicious and the tables are far enough apart to have a conversation without yelling or feeling like you’re listening in to the next table. Great service, easy valet parking. Awesome!

    It was am awesome experience from the ambiance and exceptional customer service to the tasty dessert. On the reservation, I advised we were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived, our table had a happy anniversary note and we were given complimentary glasses of champagne. The food was great, I'd definitely dine here again.

    We took our two kids (4 and 18 months) for my birthday and the staff made every effort to accommodate us. Mark was great and did his very best to make sure we were happy and our needs were met! The food was outstanding and the doughnut dessert was delicious!

    My partner and I went to this place for a nice date night because it came highly recommended. We were really excited to try a upscale (relatively new) place in downtown Birmingham. However, the server we had was anything but welcoming. Condescending tone and apathetic interactions really put a damper on the dinning experience. We started with two drinks and an appetizer which all were a disappointment. The best part of the meal were the entrées, but by that time we both felt uncomfortable (with the service) that we really just wanted to leave. If you’re looking for place that is overtly pretentious in its approach to dining, then come here!! There are much better places in the Birmingham that offer a nice dinning experience with far better service and food. Don’t waste your time or money.

    Great dinner. Amazing service. Always consistently good. The short rib is THE best I’ve ever had in my life. Could cut it with a spoon. Just falls apart. So good!

    Service was top notch. I could not have been happier with the level of timeliness of the staff coming by. The food was not what I would expect for the price. My wife got the steak and it was overcooked and incredibly thin. Her gratin potatoes were slightly under cooked. I had the red snapper and it was well cooked but the risotto had a slightly odd flavor to it. While everything seemed to be freshly prepared, it was under seasoned and seemed to be lacking cohesiveness on the dishes as a whole.

    We had great food and great atmosphere. We were early so only two tables occupied. Our server ignored us after the food arrived. No drink refills until we had gone without for half of the meal. Understandable if busy. He was not.
