    We reserved for a champagne brunch. It was a mess. The food was ok. It was not an organized tasting in any way. Far too expensive for the experience.

    This was a scheduled dinner (I labeled it as birthday). But I am very disappointed with the experience overall, Besides the host wishing my husband a happy birthday, that was it. The lady at valet parking was great. When it comes to the dining experience, I am not going back. The amount of time waiting for drinks, food or even the bread, which is not on menu. is unacceptable. I can not order something, if I don't know you offer it. But glancing at neighbors table I asked the waiter if we could have some bread too. Took forever to come to table and was after we had our appetizer. The wine was too expensive for the amount they offered me. The food quality was below a $200 dinner for 2. When we ordered a desert they never acknowledged my husbands birthday. Why do you even ask if the reservation is a special occasion? Overall, would not return nor recommend.

    This was our first time dining at Bocca and although it was for a birthday, the server was so kind, the food was FABULOUS!!! It was the little things they did for us like having a birthday card waiting at the table for us when we first arrived and from that point on, both my boyfriend and myself knew this was going to be a great meal! He got the Scallop Risotto and I got the Pork Scallopini. Both were simply divine!! Would highly recommend this to both friends and family, especially for those special occasions!

    Fabulous dinner and evening. Celebrated our anniversary and our daughters birthday this evening. The restaurant added some very beautiful touches with a very thoughtful anniversary card and a special celebration toast. The food and service was amazing. We love this place.

    My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday. We were surprised to have a birthday card waiting for her at the table from the staff. Great service, delicious food and the Dessert was fantastic!

    Outside of being sat bunched up.close to a large party of women, a couple quite obnoxious, after specifically requested somewhere quiet and low foot traffic it was exceptional. Our service was top notch, the food was all so good. I had the ribeye, and while a little past medium rare the flavors were well developed. My husband had the grouper and was a part of the clean plate club in no time. Lol We will definitely return for dinner again.

    I took my daughters to dinner to celebrate the eldest’s birthday. None of us had been to Bocca before and loved the place immediately. Our server, Lucas, was superb, the food was AMAZING and the whole experience was perfect. I highly recommend.

    This was a birthday celebration for my wife and it was perfect. The veal Marsala was tender enough to eat with a fork and the fish was perfectly prepared

    We went to Sunday brunch and all ordered the frittata. It was such a fun break to go downtown to a fabulous restaurant when downtown wasn’t crowded. The food and wine were all delicious and I highly recommend this special event.

    Food and service was great. Cool atmosphere as we ate outside. I hated their curved silverware which is petty I know. But, like other places, the food is very expensive. Main courses starting around 38/each. I am not saying don't pay that for a really good meal but just be aware.

    I surprised my wife with dinner reservations for her birthday and wow… the meal, the servers, the music, the vibes. All exceeded my expectations. This was our first time trying Bocca and we are already talking about what we’ll order when we go back.

    Their sparkling wine brunch was a huge success! The selections offered on the menu were savory and delicious! The sparkling wine was a great choice for each item. The Bombolinos were fantastic! I hope to be able to go again.

    The bunch we enjoyed at Bocca last weekend was a real treat. We reserved an early seating, 10:30 a.m. and we’re ready for some food by then. We not disappointed. We started with a small serving of orange juice. The menu was broad enough to satisfy varied appetites. Chef Saab said his wife insisted that he include fluffy, delicious pan cakes on the menu. I had those with a side of scrambled eggs. So delicious…My husband had Eggs Benedict and he loved them. Sparkling wines were paired with the menu and were delicious. The dessert of an Italian Doughnut was a hit. The only criticism I have is that the brunch menu included four different sparkling wines, instead we were served only two. We enjoyed this dining experience and love everything about Bocca, from the ambiance, friendly service, to the food! I know the staff is still working our wrinkles that go with any new dining format. It was a great way to begin a Sunday! We highly recommend it and have reservations on September 10th.

    Date Night … reservations at the Bar… Everything was above 5 stars!! We were seated as soon as we arrived, greeted by the sweet bartender ( Niece of the owner, Tom) She was superb! Cocktail was wonderful!! Botanica ! You must try it!! Hubby got Pinot Noir….our entrees were wonderful.. Scallop Risotto for hubs, Eggplant Parm for me , both excellent , then Chocolate Mousse which was so delicious! Tom (Owner ) surprised us by coming to say hello and Thanked us for dining at Bocca ! Awesome! Going to make this a regular monthly date night !! ❤️🙌🏼

    Perfectly prepared red snapper and the rarely encountered ideal risotto, not a trace of stickiness. Our salads and pasta dishes were likewise excellent. The back outdoor area is lovely. Beware the loud fans if anyone is bothered by that. They move the air and contribute to the ambiance but are not quiet. We will gladly return.

    the service was exceptional - the salad (Panzanella) was delicious and my favorite part of the meal, along with wonderful bread, and the salad was large enough to share with my husband. The bucatini Pomodoro was nice, though a little chewy for our tastes. His veal dish and my flounder were both good but not exceptional.

    We booked a reservation for 3 for my mother’s 75th birthday. Our daughter and her fiancés schedule freed up last minute. I called and Bocca was full. They apologized and offered other options that wouldn’t work for our schedule. Then, they called me back after 20 min and said they had been able to move some things around and accommodate our group. Then we got there and the food and experience far exceeded even that. We don’t live in Birmingham, but Bocca will be a staple for us when we come to visit.

    My son & I both thought the taste of the eggplant lasagna was very good. Mine was not quite hot enough when served. And this is nitpicky for sure, but I didn't like eating it off a plate with little ridges (no biggie). I would rate the Caesar salad as decent. Desserts were solid but not great great. We sat at the bar & the very nice person who waited on us was very friendly & attentive. I would definitely give Bocca another try -- but for the price point would want a tad better meal. There was a fun guitarist playing, but his vocals were lost in the general restaurant sound. Don't know hiw that would be fixed.

    Great ambiance and good food but what made the evening was great service with wonderful wine pairings. The team knocked themselves out to pair wines with each course and did so very well. Also made my quest feel very special on her birthday with a wonderful complimentary deserts. A great evening… we will be back… special thanks to Fleming and Kassel, well done.
