Bocca is a fantastic restaurant. Nico, the manager, is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Fabrizio our waiter was perfection. Our food was excellent and just the right amount, real roman fare as authentic as it gets (I'm Italian ). I would recommend Bocca as one of the best Italian restaurants in Manhattan, don't miss out!

Our Open Table reservation was books in wrong location but Bocca Cincinnati was fabulous- accommodating our mixup so that we had a wonderful experience.

Good food at a fair price. If you are in the neighborhood this is a place to have a good dinner up to a party of 4.

Excellent food and service. The cacio e pepe is served in a cheese wheel and tasted delicious. The gnocchi was equally excellent. The pastas are clearly fresh and homemade. Would highly recommend!

This restaurant was ok. Food was good, but not over the top amazing in my mind. Service was fine, our waitress had a bit of an attitude and wait staff placed dishes in front of wrong people, but the food generally made up for it. Only con to the food was my pasta seemed to be swimming in butter/oil. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant, but probably won't come back.

The food was the issue. Soup was not good and not hot. The entrée was not hot, but fair. Service was very good and were concerned about me not liking the soup and reduced the bill without me even asking.

Date night for my boyfriend and I. Such an amazing change of pace from our usual take out in bed with Netflix dates. The tomato spread and Italian bread to start was decedent, mushroom polenta was creamy and delicious, we split the squid ink gnocchi which was to DIE for, and the quail second course was OK.
Dessert was delicious but slightly over priced for the size in my opinion. All and all would love to go back, so delicious, amazing ambiance.

Adorable quaint and intimate atmosphere. Very energetic vibe amongst the crowd. Can be casual or dressy. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Not your "ordinary" Italian menu; creative. Food was delicious and perfect portion-size. We loved the "cheese wheel." If you choose, the staff places your pasta in the cheese wheel and seasons it rather than using the usual cheese shaker...very "Italiano." We will return.

Delicious food and great service. Everyone was really nice and the again the food was exceptional. For sure coming back.

The prix fixe menu was great.our waiter was attentive but we did not feel rushed.

Bocca provided an exceptional dining experience, from the welcoming at the entrance way to the very relaxing and unhurried meal. I had one of their salads to start (the kale option), and it was expertly prepared and very enjoyable. For my primary dish, I chose the tonnarelli. Both the taste and texture of the pasta, and the saucing (which is conducted table-side), were superb. I highly recommend this dish, and the restaurant in general, for a wonderful dinner.

The food is fantastic! Pastas are perfectly prepared, creative and delicious. Service was wonderful. We will be going back.

We went for Valentine’s Day. They had a prix fixed menu, limited options per course. The service was very bad. My husband’s appetizer arrived pretty quickly, but mine didn’t arrive until almost 15mins AFTER he finished eating and they had cleared his plate. Our entrees took another 10+ mins after they finally cleared my appetizer plate. Tables that sat after us got their entrees before us. It was very frustrating. Our waiter would disappear for long periods of time.

Great evening at Bocca. The food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very fun and modern. The entire party had a great time!

This place is very good and totally under the radar. Prices are great for the quality and the food is done authenticiy and well conceived. It beats Felida and a lot of other more highly praised Italian restaurants that are over priced disappointments:

A few of my co-workers and I decided to give this establishment a try due to restaurant week. None of the dishes are worth bragging about. Overall it was average.

Food was good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is nice. I like the fresh pasta and the gluten free options. Dishes are well made, but lacked a little something extra. I do not think you will be disappointed with the experience.

Attentive service and a nice atmosphere - not quiet but not too lively! The food was very good - eggplant parm for appetizer was delicious, salads very good but a little too lightly dressed. The ravioli with burned butter sauce ..... pasta very nice thin, fresh with a light and delicious filling my only comment is that the burned butter was hardly burned so it tasted like ravioli sitting in too much melted butter. Very good - if the sauce had been better it would have been close to perfect!

Nicole is a wonderful server knowledgeable and attentive.We started with the fantastic Gamberi all’aglio e olio and Mozzarella fatta in casa. For dinner the very spicy Strozzapreti con anduja and Pappardelle al ragÚ di agnello. For dessert the Nutella semifreddo. What a tasty superb dinner it was. Thank you Bocca!

Tried Bocca during restaurant week. Service was great, felt well taken care of. Food was ok, had the pasta with braised lamb shank. It was good but not spectacular, wish it was a little more flavorful and pasta was a bit gummy. I was excited to try since the pasta in that dish is made in house. All in all and good experience, but nothing to make me want to run right back for the food. It is a nice cozy atmosphere, which I appreciated.

This past Saturday was our fourth visit to Bocca, and while consistency may be the hobgoblin of small minds, when speaking of restaurants it is something to be strived for. Bocca consistently hits the mark in the preparation and presentation of its dishes, and the waitstaff is attentive without being fawning. My wife and I shared the baked eggplant appetizer which was delicious. For our entrees, we both went the pasta route; I had the cacio e pepe, and my wife ordered the pappardelle served with a braised lambshank and tomato sauce ragu. We shared the tiramisu for desert. There were no doggie bag leftovers to be taken home for a late night snack or a Sunday morning pre-brunch. I'm already looking forward to going back for our fifth visit.

Went there for dinner and found it excellent. This visit was for lunch and it did not disappoint. Again, excellent service by Kevin and the food was equal to an authentic restaurant in Rome. Go and enjoy.

One of our pastas was served cold, the other was underdone. Overall very underwhelming.
