Service was outstanding. Excellent place for dinner with friends and family. Overall dinner was great. My only issue was with the $30 steak.
Had a bit too much fat on it.
We very much enjoyed our meal at Bocca D Bacco! The food was tasty and the service was excellent!
Had a lovely meal for my husband's birthday, but despite having a reservation we had to wait 15 minutes or more and they didn't seem too worried about that fact. Once we got past that, the food was great. Caprese salad, lamb shank, and branzino were highlights for us. Nice atmosphere. Service was attentive, despite that it was pre-theater AND St. Patrick's day.
Pastas were amazing. Music level is very loud which makes it hard to hear the waiters and hard to hold a conversation.
Calamari was large enough to share and crispy and tender. Rib eye was enough for 3-4 people and absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. We were only two people so we each have another meal. Fries and arugula salad also wonderful. Service was very attentive. Only negative was it was noisier than I like.
great for before a show. large portions and fast good service
Service was great ambience was great food was really good disappointed and that dessert other than that I really enjoyed it
Had a great time and a great meal at this Theater District location. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. Specialty drinks were unique and delicious, wine selection is more than adequate and waiter suggestions were thoughtful and helpful. Food was outstanding, the salmon, the lamb chops and the ink squid pasta with crab meat got received special accolades from our guests. Highly recommend if you are going to theater and want a special meal before the show.
Tables are too close together. Couldn’t have private conversation. Could barely get through to go to the restroom. I understand it’s a busy Saturday night but a little space would be nice.
Great impromptu booking, good service from Bocca staff and we had a great meal.
The food is overall very good. Ingredients are fresh and portion size is just right. The in house made pasta is very satisfying, the seafood very fresh and the vegetable dishes are excellent.
The food is really delicious.
The menu is compete.
I ate by myself but it is also a great please for a date.
Had a great night with my daughter for dinner here after seeing a show together. The food was delicious and the service, attentive. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the wine list and made good suggestions on the menu.
I would definitely recommend this place.
Super loud! I don’t think there was a seat to be had in the entire place - packed to the gills and very tightly squished in. Service was a bit slow as a result. Food was delish.
Upon entering the restaurant there was a horticultural smell of glue throughout and he restaurant. Was told they were gluing things in basement No accommodations were made. Suffered from so nausea initially
Good food. Very good service
I had grilled bronzino from the regular menu. Tasty but way too salty. She had the fish special which she said was very good
Service was excellent so getting to the theater was stress free. Not expensive for the area
Second time I was there, not as good as the first time. Waiter and service were good. The food was just okay. We were placed by the door, so it was busy with people walking in and out. For pre-theater it was in a good spot, but I would select another place next time.
We enjoyed our ore theater dinner. Service was quick and food was delicious,
Bocca Di Bacco has become one of my "go-to" favorites when going to the theatre. Excellent food, good service. The one thing you may want to consider is that the food comes out very quickly so if you are looking for a place that allows you to linger and enjoy, this may not be the right choice. Also, I am a tea drinker and while they do have some odd flavored teas, just your basic black tea of the Lipton variety is lacking.
But if you are in the neighborhood and need a great meal, reasonably priced, pre-theatre, Bocca is the place to go.
Excellent service and the pasta with osso bucco ragu was superb. Also, the pear salad is worth it. Excellent option for post-theater dinner -- we will return.
Best Pasta dish I have ever eaten. Burnt Wheat Cavatelli with sausage and Mushroom. So good!
We ordered the prosciutto and the meatballs and they were both very good
My husband got the sirloin which he said was a little too smoky for his liking, my daughter got the pasta Bolognese which was amazing and I got the branzino special with the shrimp which was very good.
So, overall it was a very nice dinner in a very nice atmosphere.
It was a bit dark in the restaurant. Food was fantastic, tho!
we stopped here fro dinner before the theater and it was a true delight. Although they were very busy, service and food was excellent. The pasta entree was delicious. I had the squid and my wife had the cavatelli with sausage and mushroom
a theater district place but other than priced well the food was less than memorable
Excellent choice for a gourmet Italian dinner before a Broadway show!
Been her a few times and the food and atmosphere is great! Only negative is lights are too dim to see the menu. Many patrons using phone flashlight apps to see. Will definitely be back.
Food was good but restaurant is very dark. Every table needed the flashlights on their phones to read the menu.
Bocva di Bacco always delivers very good food with very good service. It is a very dependable restaurant for a pre- theater dinner. Go and enjoy.
Went there for Valentine's day. They were able to accommodate us really late after a Broadway show. Great ambiance and amazing food!
Short rib was amazing Cooked to perfection!!!!
Very nice spot in a touristy area. Dark romantic atmosphere.
The food was delicious as always. A little on the pricier side though.
It would be advantageous to have ONE waiter servicing the table so you know who to speak to. The Lobster Lagontini was lacking lobster meat.
The manager skipped our table to say hello and ask if everything was alright. This certainly did not make us feel welcome. I am glad that I had the experience but would not recommend my groups to eat at this restaurant.
Best pork chop ever, and the sea bass was equally as good. It’s worth the walk over to 9th Avenue. The Latin music was a bit loud, but the food and service compensated. We are never disappointed.
Had a phenomenal dining experience with Bocca Di Bacco. The food was exceptional and well-paced, and in celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, they brought out two glasses of champagne and a candle with dessert. Staff was friendly and courteous, and overall it was a pleasure dining here. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
One of the best Italian places in Hells Kitchen. They were very accommodating and the food was fantastic! Highly recommended.
French Onion Soup was just awful
Dishes nothing special at all
The food was good but the table we were given was terrible. We were placed in between two tables of 6 and felt very crowed. The waiter was not able to fit in between the tables without saying excuse me to put the food down or pour some water. There were wine bottles above our head on a shelf and the waiter came over to our table and reached over us to get the bottles at least 3 times when we were eating. If you seat in the front of the restaurant it would be better.
Went for restaurant week for lunch, they start serving dinner at 4pm. They wouldn’t let us order from the lunch menu and proceeded to hand us the dinner menu for restaurant week. It was the exact same menu as the lunch menu just $18 more. Got the gnocchi it was very average. Expensive and not worth it for what you get
