Great food and service prompt enough for pre theater dinner!

I have dined here before with no problems. However, at this luncheon,
I had to return my lamb chops twice as they were raw inside. I chose
a pasta dish then. Also no bread basket and when given the wifi
password it did not work.

Don't know why they fell down on the job this time.

My wife, daughter and I had lunch here on 4/18/18 and it was amazing!

The service was awesome and the food, as well was awesome!

Peroni on draft and plenty of wine/liquor options. The bread was also great.

For lunch, we each had 3 pasta dishes: Fusilli alla Norcia; Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina; and Fettucine Alla Bolognese.

We also had an amazing dessert. I don't remember the name but it was ice cream and pastry on a plate.

Overall, the next time my family is in NYC, we will definitely be heading to Bocca for dinner!

Wonderful for a ladies' pre-theater lunch. A variety of delicious salads for all.

We were there for pre-theater lunch. We picked this restaurant for location and on-line lunch menu. The on-line menu was for another location, not this location. We did not know that. One person ordered 2 dishes from starters menu, others ordered no starters and lunch entre. They did not bring everything out at once. So the person with starters for lunch ate alone, while we waited. Then we ate while they waited. We thought it was obvious - 2 starters are their lunch.
Food was good.
It was awkward. Service was friendly but slow so we did not have coffee. Nice decor and soft music.
I would recommend, but you need to tell servers what you want.

The Hell's kitchen Manhattan was great, as were the lamb chops. Cooked perfectly. Going back!

Great hospitality... steak came back medium well after I ordered medium rare (went by steakhouse standards) And I have NEVER sent anything back myself, but my family convinced me and I’m happy I did especially for the price. They were so nice and accommodating and even gave me a free glass of wine. Service was great and so was the food. We all loved the squid ink pasta special! I’ll be back... for a date and a bottle of fantastic wine.

The restaurant was packed and music was very loud. Pasta dishes were good but my friend had a steak and he had to send it back. The meat is not good quality. He got a piece that was very fatty, over cooked and rubbery. Also seating arrangements were tight and I felt like I was on top of other people. It was very packed and waiters moved around very quickly making me dizzy!

Delicious Food but very dark and loud. Trying to figure out why so loud but the acoustics are terrible- Owners- note- try using sound sound deadening materials for ceiling and turn on a extra light.

We made a reservation weeks in advance, somebody from the restaurant called to confirm the reservation. We were coming to eat after seeing a show nearby - during the show I had two calls saying that the kitchen will be closed by the time of our reservation. Very unprofessional to offer a reservation slot when your kitchen isn’t open. The least they could have done was award us the diners points for the inconvenience. Can’t say we’ll be looking to make a reservation again - what if the kitchen closes early?!

Bocca Di Bacco is one of our favorite NYC restaurants. We always make time to stop in - even if it's an early dinner prior to a show. The food is amazing, the atmosphere chic, and the service is spectacular. A true gem.

While the food was good. except the pork chop was very dry , the service was not satisfactory. We complained about the pork chop and the waiter didn't even acknowledge the complaint. He didn't follow up after the food was delivered to see if everything was ok. The manager was attentive to our complaints as we left.

There were 4 in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal very much. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, but the lighting could definitely be improved.
We had to ask our waiter for bread which we felt should be put on the table automatically. Also, no one ever asked if we would like a refill on our coffee. They just removed our coffee cups from the table without checking to see if we would like a refill.

Food was excellent. Pastas were all very good. Service was not so great - Made a reservation and called the day prior to ensure it would be ready since we were a group of 12 trying to make a show, but when we got to the restaurant it took 45 mins to get seated. Service was still slow even after we told them we were in a rush.

We went there for a pre-play dinner. The place was hopping. Which is to be expected when you are in the Theater District of Manhattan. Our Waiter and staff were excellent, attentive. Great entree suggestions. Came back multiple times to make sure all was excellent. The food was delicious ! The Grilled Octopus was superb and the Black Squid Ink Pasta in a red/pink crab meat sauce was to die for. An excellent find, only two blocks from our Play. Book it in advance because everyone is vying for a seat at the same time before the plays begin.

Very disappointed. Very average food. My steak was tiny and not cooked properly. People at my table ordered the pasta and said it was very average. Pours on drinks were tiny, although wine portions were fine. The waiter tried to rush us through the meal and had no sense of how to deal with customers. Never again.

Had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and it did not disappoint. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive, pleasant service to the delightful food and drink, this place was a winner and we will be back when we are again in the area for theatre.

Had dinner here before a show. Great location to some theaters. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The food we had was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Comfortable setting. Pasta was homemade. Delicious Gnocchi and yummy Branzino and Swordfish. Would definitely go back again.

We thought the totelinni appetizer and Italian cheesecake were outstanding. Veal and saw bass were good. What really impressed us was the service. Fresh utensils with each course and plates for sharing. There was also a good selection of wine.

Wonderful lunch special and the food was delicious. Only problem was they needed another chef in the kitchen. It was Wednesday matinee day and there were people that only got their food at 1:30 when curtain is at 2. They were very upset. We waited a half hour for a salad but complained immediately and it was smooth sailing for us.

This is a reliable restaurant. The music is always very loud adding to the noisy atmosphere of the restaurant. Seating can be quite tight. It used to be quite special; now it is predictably okay.

Amazing experience! Pasta was out of this world and the service was perfect, even for a party of 9.

Space was slightly tight but workable. There was a healthy din above the dine, but made it exciting.

Totally recommend for a meal before or after a show.

The food was very good, but since the place was very busy, there were people crowding all over us, making it very difficult to hear or enjoy ourselves. If crowd was controlled better, place would be excellent. Service was a little delayed due to the place busyness, but good anyway.
Very loud!

Food was amazing. Our waiter was great. The only negative comment about the night is that during our appetizer we were asked to move tables. Then we were told we didn't need to. After that the manager kept walking near us and we overheard him tell our server that he needed to hurry us up so he could free up the table. I enjoyed everything about the dinner, but when spending a couple hundred on dinner I would not liked to be rushed .
