Friendly fast and great service. The price was also perfect.
My wifes 80th birthday; our waitress was very attentive and disappointed when we didn’t select desert as we were too full from our meals; it would have been complementary.
Great service and food was outstanding.
The food just wasn't very good--nothing terrible, but underseasoned, and just eh, especially for the price. (with the exception of the lambchops, which were excellent, but don't require much skill - right?) Service was friendly, but it was hard to communicate - waiter seemed a bit out of sync with the timing of the meal and kitchen.
Excellent service and food!
I met a friend of mine for dinner. Started with the Bocioccinni salad - the cheese was beautiful; the tomatoes a little wooden - my fault, they are out of season. Had the braised short rib .... great comfort food; washed down with a Barbaresco - nice.
Thank You so much, ALWAYS OUR PLEASURE
Food & Service was awesome. Owner was visible and very interested in our experience. Great location to the theater - on the list for the next we go to a show!
The first time in many visits the food came out only moderately warm. I did not send it back because I was hungry.
We will be back. Absolutely the most freshest ingredients, delicious homemade tasting pasta, warm friendly staff and lovely restaurant decor and ambiance. Love the Italian writings on the wall. The dessert, we are still talking about the pana cotta! You made my daughter's 28th birthday very special. Love your Peach Bellini! Excellent. Thank you!
ALWAYS OUR PLEASURE, YOU'ARE MORE THAN WELCOME ANYTIME
Great meal right before we went to a show. The pastas were delicious. Linguini Bolognese and tulle mushroom pasta dish were both delicious. Really everything we ordered was fantastic.
Solid place for good Italian food.
This was a selection I made based on availability. It was a great find! The food was so good and the atmosphere was elegant and cosy! So glad I chose this little gem! I would highly recommend it!
Delicious food! The calamari was mouth watering.
Fabulous menu in lovely dining room. Superb service. Only one complaint ...portions were too large. Need to have option for smaller portions
This is a regular stop for me. This most recent visit resulted in cold food being served to me. When I was there the prior week they got my order wrong. Both instances were corrected, but they should not have happened in the first place.
This is one of our favorite places to eat when we are in town. The staff is very nice, even when they are super busy. The food is always excellent too!
We are from out of town and had dinner before a show. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We really liked the vibe.
Great food. Particularly live their octopus!
It was very hot in restaurant . Very uncomfortable. Food just okay. Wine was warm. Not a good experience
Awesome Dining Experience At Bocca Di Bacco -I would recommend the restaurant HIGHLY for Pre-Theatre and Family Get Together Dining Or Celebrations !! Service was Outstanding, Food Was Excellent and Came Out Promptly !!!
Food is always amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for dates
Service and food were excellent. Prices were a bit higher then we expected but probably on point. I will definitely keep it on my list for NYC restaurants!
Great food but super slow service. Had to ask for the bill and for water three times. I think they were understaffed. Too bad because the pasta is great. They also forgot our sides
Bait and switch at Boca Di Bacco. Two people in my party were excited to order the Halibut special, but instead received some sort of combo platter that included Halibut, Salmon and Snapper (two other fishes on the regular menu). It was pretty obvious that they ran out of Halibut, but rather than be honest about it, they created something entirely different than what we ordered. Plus, the snapper and Halibut were both over cooked. The worst part was the lack of service recovery. The waitress offered to buy us a drink or dessert. We asked to speak with a Manager. That never happened, but the waitress apparently received approval for one plate to be removed from our bill. We were very disappointed and will not be returning anytime soon.
I went for a special dinner with my daughter to celebrate her being on her own show in NYC
We took a friend here because we had a great experience last time we were here. Again the food and service were great!!
Customer service was spectacular. Food was equally as good. Wine too. And while noise level was moderate, our party of 5 had no problem eating and talking. Highly recommend
The food is incredible. I had the parmesan crusted chicken, which was the best I ever had. My husband, who has been making homemade gnocchi for family and friends for 30+ years tried the gnocchi and was very pleasantly surprised. They were fresh and really were homemade, not the hard, dense belly bombers that other places say are homemade. My daughter had the fettucini bolognese and was sad there was nothing left to take home. The staff are on top of their game and very friendly.
Amazing food here -- this is our second time getting the Involtini di Melanzane e Ricotta (eggplant, ricotta roll up w/ tomato sauce) as an appetizer, and I seriously dream about the next time I get to have it. It might be the most perfect dish in the world. For entrees, my daughter had the Torelli Ricotta e Spinaci, and I had the Pollo Crostato (parmigiano crusted chicken, spinach, white wine lemon sauce) -- both were outrageously wonderful. I just cannot recommend this place enough. The bread is delicious! Looking forward to our next visit here, already!
Poor service - pretty much everything that turned up was wrong. And even when corrected, the pasta was really bad. To be fair, the branzino was good - but that was the only highlight of an otherwise disappointing dinner. Wine list was good and fairly priced.
What a great find! Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Great location for theatre goers too! We’ll definitely dine here again!
We were two in our party for pre-theater lunch. The restaurant was not crowed. Both of our orders came back incorrect. The waiter said there was a new chef. That's no excuse. The food was mediocre. It shouldn't be hard to make a decent omelet with goat cheese and spinach, or a kale and quinoa salad.
Great food, excellent service, moderate prices, and we weren't rushed out. Highly recommended for pre-show or post-show dining!
I loved this spot! Hidden but went before a show on broadway and it was perfect will come again!
Food was good, service was slow, somewhat noisy. Halibut was very good but tortellini did not look like “ real” tortellini.. might return if I’m back in area
Food was delicious. Lots of good brunch and lunch options. Perfect for a pre or post theater dining.
Amazing service! Very friendly staff. Great food and wine. Not very pricey.
Wonderful restaurant, great service. Got us in and out quick in time for the show.
Every bite was delicious and the service was amazing!
Good choice for pre theater. Moderate prices. Good food.
