Very good food, all was very good and they do have an extense menu with lots of different options for everyone, while u had a stash my son had a sausage pasta and my wife had a beanzino..
All were pretty good
My dinner was excellent from start to finish. My guest was delighted with her branzino but thought the broccoli raab (sp) was undercooked. Best vodka gimlet in NYC! Will definitely return.
Great food, cozy atmosphere and great service and very clean establishment. Food was cooked fresh and very enjoyable.
Enjoyed every dish served...service was outstanding. Friends raved about the food. Had to come and find out myself!
Bocca do Bacco was very good. We were seated immediately, the waiter was very attentive and the food was very good. We sat down at noon time for lunch and had no problem getting to a 2pm matinee. I would recommend this restaurant, especially for theater goers.
Great Italian food and excellent service
Too noisy to talk. Loved the food and service.
This is a great pre-theater restaurant. Good food and good service.
Food was delicious and location is great. Make a reservation if you are planning to go, we saw several people turned away because they were at capacity.
Went for brunch.
Was excellent all around.
Terrific experience! Food was incredible and the hostess was fantastic! We arrived early due to the bitter cold, and they were able to accommodate sitting us within minutes on a busy Friday!
Food was delicious! We had the tagliatelle and the gnocchi. We also had the fried calamari and panna cotta. All was great!
The service is impeccable and the food is always delicious.
This was one of the tastiest meals I've had in some time. It started with a warm vegetable salad, grilled veggies on a parmasesan wafer and continued with crab cakes with grilled mushroom salad.
The food was outstanding. It got very loud when it was filled up. Our waiter paid very little attention to us.
They need more waiters! Slow to get someone to take our orders.
It was convenient to theater...menu was fine..food fine.
Lunch before theater. Great location in theatre district. Food very very good. Great service. Bloody Mary not so much. Would definitely try for dinner next tine
We had a 5:45 reservation for a 7 PM show and were able to make it to the show in plenty of time. The food here is amazing! I had the pork chop, one friend had the chicken, and another had the squid-ink pasta with shrimp. We all agreed that the meal was the best we've had in a very long time. Our server was very sympathetic to our time constraints and allowed us to do separate checks (it was a work event). I would like to go back and try the other dishes -- only this time have some wine to go with it! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Dinner was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect
Staff was great
We have dined here 3 times and have always had very good meals. The Octopus appetizer is delicious and perfectly prepared and is big enough to share. We normally get the pasta dishes as they have been consistently excellent. The service is good, but not great, as we have had to make repeated requests for bread or water. The noise level when the restaurant is full can be very loud. That does not bother me that much, but others may find it objectionable. The high quality of the food overrides those minor quibbles.
Food was very good, however portions were small. Waiter was attentive.
The food was pretty good but our waiter seemed to have better things to do and having anaphylaxic food allergies I wanted to go to a true Italian restaurant to ensure the food would be safe (long story) but after asking about the food, it turns out, they use cheap alternatives in their ingredients, so it is not Italian cuisine...its upscale fast food with fillers. I tried to be generous with my rating and the stars because maybe everything else was an ‘off day’ but I don’t recommend this place to anyone. There are too many quality restaurants in the area that cost less and are ACTUALLY authentic.
Went for a pre-theater dinner. We got our food quickly and it was really good.
First time at boca was great. Downhill after that. Tried it 2 times more and found orders incorrect, service sketchy and good tasteless
Time to move on
The food was AMAZING but we picked a pretty busy time to go so it was really loud and crowded. A bit pricy, but not too much of a budget breaker. Staff was helpful and friendly!
this restaurant has a nice atmosphere and great staff who work around the clock to make sure everything goes smoothly! They exceed expectations more ways than one and I will definitely be coming back again soon. The GM too was working hard on the floor greeting those and helping the staff. Great people, great place, couldn't be happier and will need to come back for the Rigatoni Norcia.
Best pasta I’ve had in a long time. Really good.
I ordered a fish entrée and when it arrived I immediately tasted the fish and knew it was bad. The server managed to get a replacement entrée to me, of a different sort, so that we could still make our show at 8 PM. We were grateful for that. The replacement entrée I ordered was the fillet mignon steak. Upon arrival it was clear that this was not a fillet mignon cut of steak, but rather was a different cut being passed off as filet mignon. We made no argument as we were under pressure for time. Still, both my wife and I were sick that night and the next day after eating this restaurant.
Mediocre food and FAR TOO NOISY. The restaurant was convenient for my purpose, but the din was ridiculous. Could barely hear the wait staff. Won't be returning.
We went pre theater with the teenage kids. They were able to accommodate our group of 5 at 5:15. All the dinners were very good -monkfish, gnocchis, rigatoni bolognese, pasta Le mar.
Overall the food was good! We had the meatballs, Caesar salad, tortellini and ziti with pink sauce. The service wasn’t great, we had about 3 different waiters who were asking us the same questions... if we were ready to order, what’s our drink order, what’s our food order etc. they also took away our salad while we were still eating it. They must have messed up the timing of the pasta dishes because as soon as they took the salad away our pasta was brought to us. Very quick service if you are in a rush to see a show.
Phenomenal food / service - everybody went above and beyond!
Restaurant lost our reservation even when confirmed with a phone call 5 hours before hand. When finally given a table, waited 10 min before the over worked bar tender could make their way over to us. The entree came out before the appetizer and the food was luke-warm at best. Bartender did best he could but gave one water for 2 people to share. Will not be going back.
Terrific all around. Will be back!
Kind of expensive for food that was just ok. The servers were nice but the music was loud, awkward, and somewhat inappropriate. Good service was the highlight.
Pre theater lunch, Better than average Italian food and menu, courteous service
Good food and good service even though it is in theater district and very, very busy around 6:00.
Excelente service. Loved The food
Muy atentos los mozos, muy linda experiencia, y el salmon estaba muy rico!
Authentic Italian food.
