Awesome meal and service!
Great place, conviently located with delicious, well done food. The service was on par,the ambiance and decor was also good.Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was wonderful as well as pre-theater service. Only complaint was that my 2nd drink didn’t taste right and they handed it appropriately.
Great fresh pasta! We had lunch here and the restaurant was empty.
The penne in Gorgonzola sauce is almost too good. I couldn’t stop eating it.
I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere very much and will return
Food is excellent. Service was very good. They made sure we got done in time for the theater
Great dinner in between Broadway shows!
We had a great pre-theatre experience here. We got 8 people in and out with drinks, appetizers, and entrees in plenty of time to make our show a few blocks away with a 5:30 reservation. Server was friendly and attentive to our requests and schedule. Certainly recommend.
Delicious food. Great service. Wonderful.evening.
Celebrated My birthday with 6 of my girlfriends here on a Friday night and I gotta say this was the best restaurant we’ve been to in the theater district. The decor, ambience, food and service was outstanding. The host was super friendly , Server was attentive at all time, and the manager who’s name I think was elhadji came around to make sure everything was alright with our table. This Was truly a great dining experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
Food & service was good but too noisy
Excellent experience. I’ll be back
We went for restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised. Most other Midtown restaurants give you small portions to make their size comparable to the price, but the meals at BdB were HUGE. And DELICIOUS. Service was great, wine was good, it was a little noisy and tight, but hey, its New York and you can't have everything if you're not a high-earning Wall Streeter. Would definitely recommend.
Second time at this restaurant was not as positive as first. Pasta was overcooked and service mediocre. Bathroom broken downstairs and main fl br not adequate.
Food was good service was inconsistent. It was a fairly large get together and they didn’t have excellent communication skills and lacked system to give our food to the correct person
The carbonara was INCREDIBLE. Everyone’s meal was fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend!!!
We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and were immediately seated. We were in town for a play and appreciated the fast and friendly service. Food was delicious, my 7 year old enjoyed everything. Our server was great and made my daughter feel welcome. Highly recommend.
Great meal, very good food and nice drink/wine selections. Service was good for a busy time before evening shows.
Our pre-theater reservation was honored as scheduled. It was Restaurant Week so there was a dinner special in place which allowed us to sample a variety of menu options at a discounted price. All our selections were judged to be very good to excellent. It was a very satisfying meal. The service was timely without being intrusive. We had several family members join in on a delayed basis, but we were never hurried to finish our time at the table. We recommend this restaurant.
Lovely restaurant; the staff is extremely attentive and the food was superb. I would definitely go there again.
I went there specifically for their participation in Restaurant Week. Their website lists their involvement and the NYC RW guide lists it as well. In fact the guide has a special mark on their listing to note they participate on Sundays. When I arrived (on a Sunday), I was handed a regular menu. I asked the waiter for a RW menu. He seemed puzzled and left. Then another waiter approached and asked me if I had any questions about the menu. I politely asked for a RW menu. He also seemed puzzled and walked away. Then a 3rd waiter came over and asked if I had a question about the menu. I asked him for a RW menu. He told me they do not participate on the weekends. I noted this was not only not mentioned anywhere, but they have a special note to show they do participate on Sundays. This listing is prominently displayed on their front counter. He scowled and said they only participate M-F and walked away. At that point we were "committed" to be there and with a guest it would have been quite awkward to leave. Needless to say, I left with a bad taste in my mouth over this. I contacted the restaurant on the next day, Monday, to bring this to their attention but never got the courtesy of a reply.
My husband and I had chicken Panini's which were huge served with very crispy french fries and mixed greens. We should have ordered one and split it. I also had a bellini which was ok, but not as good as one I had in CA years ago. They have a brunch menu which didn't appear on the Open Table site which includes a list of drinks for $7. You can have all you can drink for $20 but then I'd fall asleep at the play. I wound definitely go back.
Very nice restaurant with good ambiance and great service.
Food was excellent. Wine affordable and enjoyable.
Dessert delicious too!
I would definitely go back here again.
Our second time here and just as good as the first. We were early for our reservation but they seated us anyway. It does get pretty loud in there the later it gets but we were out by around 7 and it wasn't too bad. Would definitely go back!
Food was outstanding service was quick and efficient. Was a bit noisy and hard to hear sometimes but it was Saturday night. Great spot for a great dinner before a show.
We were in town for a conference, and hit Bocca di Bacco for a Restaurant Week meal. The RW menu was well-chosen, with something for pasta, meat, pork, and chicken eaters. We mixed it up - one of each, and all of us loved our food. Portion size was just right, and service was friendly and unobtrusive. Great place for a pre-theater meal.
The service left a lot to be desired.
Enjoyed date night dinner with husband! Entrees were good! Service attentive
The food was good but there were a few errors made with our order throughout the night. Towards the end we waited a very long time to get the bill, about 20 minutes which was frustrating. I saw the waiter was the only one in the front portion of the restaurant but he was also the bartender. They appeared to be understaffed. In total, our stay was almost 2 hours but most of it was due to the waiting or errors.
There was a party in the back of the restaurant making the rest of dining area very loud. It was not pleasant to eat during the noisy party. Also my husband's sandwich break was burned. My sardines on my salad were overly salty and so I left those. The rest of the salad (tuna nicoise) was fine. The wait staff were very friendly. The coffee was good.
A little loud but food and service totally make up for it !
Our meal was very good. The drinks were also good. We will dine here again.
Meals are consistently great.
This was our first visit to Bocca Di Bacco. We loved it! It was adorable inside, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing!! We started with the Insalata Bocca Di Bacco. It was fresh and bright! For an entree, try the Tagliatelle with salsiccia and funghi!! The fettuccine and sausage with pink sauce was also excellent! It was a really hot day, so instead of wine, we enjoyed an Italian beer on tap! It hit the spot! We will definitely be back!
Meal and service were wonderful. I don't know if the kitchen overlooked our order or what, but it took a little while to get our entrees.
My friend and I both enjoyed our meal. I had the pasta and my friend had the chicken. We shared the apple strudel dessert. Everything was good, service was also good. Noise level was acceptable.
The service was EXCELLENT!! I had the risotto frutti di mare and it was amazing!!!!!! The tiramisu was soooooo good!!!
We will definitely be going back soon!!!!
We enjoyed our experience immensely. The dinner was excellent, the servers went above and beyond to see that we were satisfied. I will remember this restaurant when I return to NYC.
We were at a play down the street
It ended getting out later than our res
Even though we were 15 minutes late
We were greeted with a smile- no attitude
Feeling welcomed we were steated, our waiter was very attentive- we never felt rushed, he would check on us , never leaving us looking for him.
I appreciate the service , we left after the closing hours , not once ever feeling we should hurry & leave
