By far the best Italian food I’ve had to date in NYC or anywhere I have eaten. The spinach tortellini was amazing and won’t let you down! The food portion was nice and overall an amazing experience. I took my boyfriend on a date for his birthday and enjoyed it very much!
Great Food, Great Team, Great Atmosphere, they consistently Over-Deliver in a very Un-pretentious manner. Reminds me of my neighborhood place when i lived in Trastevere.
Team is great there super friendly and attentive. Great value for money especially for brunch with unlimited Bloody Mary's, Mimosa's etc.
I have worked across the street from restaurant for years. I'm so glad I decided to finally go in! I scheduled a work lunch there, which worked out perfectly. Great service, not loud and delicious food. I will be back today to have drinks with someone for work and back for many more lunches and dinners.
Great food and great groovy music for Sunday brunch,
We took a party of 8 to the theater and were hoping to find a reasonably priced restaurant with good food. Becca di Bracco was good on all fronts. We were seated quickly, we did have a reservation which was made to morning of the show. Food was good and service was prompt. Bar looked lively and ambiance was energetic, but manageable. Would recommend for theater above 50th st.
From the point I walked in door I had these impressions: bar room smell immediately; super loud; took about 4-5 minutes to have server at table; asked for bread fettuccine too al dente & tomato sauce that needed much more flavor and heat-lukewarm. Combination of noise & food made this visit remarkable but not in a good way.
I think our problem was that we weren’t looking for a “dining experience”. We were tired and hungry and wanted Italian. It was close to our hotel, so we figured it was a good option. The waiter was clearly disappointed that we weren’t interested in wine or appetizers which translates to no 300 dollar bill and less tip. Apparently customers are not treated equally based on their individual desires. We really would’ve been better off with a more casual mom and pop place.
The best chocolate cake that I ever had in my life! And the service was amazing, like always. Thank you guys!
Awesome service and atmosphere and the food was nothing short of amazing! Fresh ingredients and perfectly prepared. We loved it and will definitely be back!
We enjoyed a fine meal as a family. My wife enjoyed the wine too. Service was terrific.
Visited New year Eve , hells kitchen location some experience may be askew.
The decor and dining area, while jam packed and a bit cramped(New years eve, 10:30pm likely had something to do with it) evokes a rustic, Tuscan dinning experience. The extraordinary loud electronic bass music matched more if a night club vibe rather than a relaxed sit-down dinner returaunt. Not a fan if places where the music is so loud that conversation cannot be had.
Wait staff was excellent and attentive and courteous.
The found the menu decent but swaying toward the high end . Dishes were decently portioned and flavor hit or miss. Sage butter tortellini was very nice and rich but the ink squid pasta with crab the sauce had a nice zing but the other components fell flat.
Wine list is quite extensive but also above expectation price wise.
Great New Year's Eve option! Low key but not too quiet. Great food options. Drinks a little pricey but it's New York...
Excellent service, excellent ambiance. Octopus appetizer was delicious. The squid ink pasta dish was supposed to have different varieties of seafood. Mine had just crab, the portion was small and the pasta was only ok.
We went on NYE for a late lunch. The meatballs plate was one of the best I've had, but everything we ordered was outstanding. Definitely recommend it!
The service felt very rushed and not personal at all , from the hostess to our waiter. The food wasn’t that awesome and the appetizers came cold to the table. Disappointing for me .
Always enjoy a meal here. Come to restaurant 3-4 times a year.
Brunch was delicious and a bargain. Didn’t rush us at all. We’ll definitely come again!
They were excellent!
Another great meal!
Food was Delicious wasn’t super crowded. Friendly. Great service. Would go again.
Great food and restaurant
Food service and friendly waiters
Nice atmosphere fairly loud but didn't bother us
Great experience! Really enjoyed the food and overall experience. Will definitely go back.
This was great for after the theater. The food was fantastic. We had a party of seven and everyone loved their meal.
We went there with our 2 boys (aged 8 and 10). Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Went on Christmas Day. Some items on menu not available which was disappointing. Check your bill as they added a liquor drink I didn’t order onto it at $28. Also added service charge and expected a tip. Food was ok but nothing special.
Dismissive host (who spat when he talked), too few staff who seemed indifferent to simple requests
BEEN HERE NUMEROUS TIMES. FOOD AND SERVICE ARE CONSISTENTLY GREAT!
Absolutely frickin amazing EVERY time! We love, love, love Bocca Di Bacco XOXO
Very noisy but we all enjoyed the food, drink and service.
My boyfriend and I found this restaurant after comparing many other Italian restaurants around midtown and the Hell's Kitchen area...it was totally worth the 20 minute walk in the freezing cold. Delicious, authentic, affordable and chic. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful (as well as very a Italian). The spinach tortellini is to die for...and they have a very long list of awesome and reasonably-priced wines as well. The bar is also great if you just want to meet up with friends...great music too.
Nice new menu. Plenty of waiters. Food very fresh
I've been eating at Bocca di Bacco for 5 years. The food is reliably good. The service is attentive and eager to please. I prefer the 54th/55th location over the 44th/45th, mostly because of the interior layout. Never been to the Chelsea location.
One criticism: As of about a year ago, they started playing loud club music which makes any conversation virtually impossible. And the choice of music is disappointingly unsophisticated for a tuscan italian style restaurant.
Great for my group of 8 prior to seeing a show a Jazz at Lincoln Center
Great food and excellent staff! Wine was about $12-18/glass and pasta was about $18-$24. Other entrees were $25+
This was our first time at Bocca di Bacco, but it definitely won't be the last. We had a delicious Caesar salad for two and then entrees out of this world. Prime rib was precisely cooked to medium rare as ordered, and the lamb ragu orichetta was delightful. With prosecco and dessert, an enchanting and delicious meal. Warm and friendly staff made everything even better. A real New York City dinner find for us.
Bocca di Bacco was the perfect venue for our business dinner of thirteen people.
Fine dining in innovative Italian cuisine. Delicious and enjoyable
