Bocca di Bacco (Hell's Kitchen - 54th St.)
Good service, decent food, nice low key ambiance, and not noisy. No complaints 😊.
Love this place so awesome for bottomless brunch we had a group of 10 and it was great our server was amazing too! Not sure of his name but love this place will be returning!
Loved it! Would definitely recommend. The food was great, the service was great and so was the ambiance
Had a very nice pre show dinner! Food and service were very good!
10/10 best restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen
Not one person on the staff was wearing masks. Completely inappropriate and made my entire party incredibly uncomfortable.
Was a birthday celebration - we were sat next to the door which brought an arctic blast every time it opened - there was a large enough table at the back of the restaurant so not sure why we were seated so badly. Food was excellent - but the 20% surcharge that was not explained until we asked was also a little upsetting. Def recommend the food - but the other stuff needs worked on.
Good service and ambiance. Music was too loud and kitchen door was always open, with competing music. Some unmasked folks in the kitchen who I saw on their phones and eating snacks. Not great to watch and hear while trying to enjoy our meal in the main dining space.
This restaurant was pretty average. The service was above average as was the wine list. The servers here do not wear masks and this appears to be a management decision. We were assured they had all been double vaccinated and had their boosters.
The food while good was not memorable. Our server went above and beyond what was expected and made the visit better. I would not dissuade others from eating here but New York is full of places to eat so I would not recommend this one as a must go.
Pre theatre with the family and everyone enjoyed it. Lively atmosphere and great food, with a reasonably priced wine list made it a home run!
The food was excellent and the service was excellent. We enjoyed it.
Service was disjointed as kept being asked if we had ordered by different people. Food was great but lacked an atmosphere.
Dinner on Christmas. Had full menu and prefix. The food was fantastic. No rush to leave. Service was great. Would like to see staff wear masks.
Ottimo posto dove fare brunch o pranzo. Ottimo servizio e porzioni. Unico disappunto che il personale non indossa la mascherina.
Non accettabile con tutti questi contagiati.
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve meal. The servers were attentive, and the ambiance was great.
Great location, great food, great service, lovely ambiance
Not a single staff person was wearing a mask. We asked if our server would please where a mask and the response was a brusque NO. Very concerning and disappointing too.
Great service and food with a very festive atmosphere!
Our waiter was wonderful and the food excellent.
Loved our waiter. The carbonara was excellent
Great food, Great Ambiance, Great Service! Highly recommend.
Came for bottomless brunch with a large group of 16! The restaurant accommodated us SO well! Kept bringing our drinks and food was pretty good (the margarita pizza was fantastic). I personally didn’t enjoy the Bloody Mary but the Bellini and mimosas hit the spot!!
My first time but not my last to this lovely spot.
My five friends and I really liked this restaurant. The menu was interesting and made sense. The food was very delicious (we had apps, pasta and desserts). The wine list, mostly Italian, was affordable and our server chose a great wine, and he provided us with a taste before we ordered a bottle. Service was nice, friendly, responsive and efficient. We did not wait for water, or to order wine and food, for dessert to arrive or for the check. I ordered linguine with white clam sauce and it was really nice execution of one of my favorites. I should also note that they included 20% tip on the bill, which our server informed me of right away, and to which we added because we liked him and the place so much. We will definitely go back to this restaurant.
Always the best pastas!
I had booked a table two weeks ago, for 12 people last night (Sunday Dec 12) to host a holiday party and stopped by restaurant earlier in the week, to discuss details of the party including the location of the table, appetizer selections. When we arrived on the day of the event, the table was not set up, the host was not aware of our planning decisions, and the manager on premises had absolutely no idea about the event nor had he been briefed or provided the information that I had shared with the person two days before. While we were waiting, they had to scramble to get the table ready while our guests were arriving and had to wait in the crowded entry area. I had to place the orders for the items I had selected on the menu again. The manager somehow managed to come through and the dinner was fine but the situation clearly impacted our overall experience and no one recognized the mistake, apologized or offered us even a desert to make up for the poor handling. I will never ever go back to this place again or any other location in the city.
Was hungry for Italian and searched a place to go. Found this place and it didn’t let us down. Friendly service, great food. Would definitely eat here again. Had the calamari and carbonara and my boyfriend had the penna ala vodka. Sooo good!!
Must get pasta here! Truffle fettuccine, Fusilli with pink sauce, and espresso martinis were phenomenal.
Excellent food & service. I would recommend and go back.
Best brunch restaurant in NYC.
Delicious food! The space is a bit cramped and the noise level is quiet lively, so you have to nearly shout to have a conversation.
Amazing amazing experience. Service was top tier, and food was absolutely astonishing 🥰
Great menu. Grilled octopus was amazing! Waiters make great suggestions. Excellent service!
The food was excellent. The service wasn’t very good though. We waited longer than we felt was reasonable simply to order drinks. After that, we had another relatively long wait before our waiter returned to take our food order. That said, the wait staff was very nice and the food was delicious.
We chose this restaurant based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. The food and service were great and the rustic atmosphere was very pleasant. Our only complaint was the tables were situated a little too close, especially during Covid.
Such a lovely meal. They also served our kids within minutes- great service- delicious food- beautiful ambiance. Authentic. Thank you!
This is my second time here over the years with my family and we just love it! Highly recommend the vodka pasta, tortellini, and arancinis. Very consistent, great atmosphere, and delicious wine.
Online menu did not reflect in person. Was shut down immediately by employee when I mentioned online offered additional brunch beverage options. Also confirmed the hours for brunch on the phone before booking the reservation and then when seated was told they cannot accommodate what was promised when I spoke to the restaurant previously. I was excited to dine with friends at this location, however, was not pleased with the service that was advertised online and via phone and then refused in person. False expectations.
Food was tasty and ambiance was nice as well.
Service might have been having a tough day, but might be worth trying another location.
Great food, great atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
