I have been a repeat customer of this Bocca location many times, but this past visit may have been the last. We were the first ones to be seated at 12:00 The first thing that we noticed was the new brunch menu, where both of the frittattas were no longer to be found. That was extremely disappointing. So I ordered a burger to be prepared medium rare. What came to the table was a cold burger that was exactly the same color on the outside and inside. Just kind of gray, as if it came from a high school cafeteria. Clearly the grill wasn't hot enough to cook it per my request. I tried to get the attention of my server but was not able to flag him down so I ended up eating it, but it was terrible. Honestly so disappointing. Also I'm not sure if the complimentary muffin basket before brunch has been discontinued. We didn't get one. Some other tables did. Another mark against this visit. Between the menu change, the lack of attention to us as diners, and the nondescript burger, I'm pretty turned off. Also the music was blasting so loud that we requested they lower it, but 5 min later it was turned up again. So I don't know. I've been there probably 20 times because it's so close to us, but there was nothing special or positive about this visit.

I ordered the skirt steak w/fries. My waiter brought me a different order that had spinach & mashed potatoes that I could not eat as I found them too spicy. When I showed him his mistake, He kindly brought me my fries. The steak was very good, the waiter was attentive It is just disappointing when you have to complain about something, especially when it is a complaint about the food. I want my dinner to go smoothly and comfortably.
