Bocca Di Bacco is a New York City Restaurant Group establishment from dynamic restaurateur and New York native Robert Malta, who owns nearly a dozen restaurants throughout the city. “I’ve been in the business 25 years,” Malta says. “I opened the first Bocca Di Bacco in Hell’s Kitchen in 2007 and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. The Chelsea location is an evolution of what we’ve been offering. There are new menu items, and a more refined look and feel, but it’s still a great spot for the neighborhood any night of the week.”

I went to Bocca for lunch, it was a very good experience with food and new wine menu. Lots of selections. Service was excellent as usual. Great music selection with beautiful arts all over the restaurant. I will definitely come back.
The music kept being disabled from the dock. It’s as if the mgr left for the night and the employees were able to play. 3 different types. Pop - Taylor swift/ classical/ we left and some rock song was on. That was the most bizarre part of the dinner. Food was SO good!!! Jalapeño drink was delicious. The lava cake was very good / ice cream - didn’t taste like vanilla / had some freezer burn. Yuck.
The brunch was great however the staff was extremely odd they barely came over to check on the table. Our waiter seemed like he just didn’t care.
The wait staff was a little distracted. There was one big party that they hovered around while the other 3 tables seemed to be afterthoughts. We were asked 3 times (and said yes) if we wanted water before we actually got it. Same with our other drinks. I love salt and tend to use it more than most-with that said, our food was incredibly salty. The tuna tartare was so salty we couldn’t finish it. So was our broccoli rabe and lamb dish. When we told the waiter when he asked how our food was he just gave us a blank stare. Nice ambiance but wouldn’t go back for food. If anything, maybe a drink and I’d sit at the bar.
This is one of our go to places. Food is fresh and well prepared. Service is usually spot on. Place can be deafening loud as it was on a Saturday night. Portions are not miniscule nor are they generous.
Great food and service.
This place was great! The service was a litttttle slow because bottomless is bottomless. Nothing to complain about it just wasn’t super fantastic.
Fresh, authentic, great energy, friendly staff, amazing wine.
It was difficult to understand our waiter and I think he had difficulty understanding our requests. I asked for a mocktail, something like a mix of juices. He first thought I wanted a cocktail. I then said no alcohol and mentioned a few juices. He came back with pineapple juice. I think I would have gotten a better drink if I talked to the bartender myself. The service was not great. We came on a slow night and there was no excuse for slow service. It took a while after we placed our order before we got our meals. I do have to say it was nice of them to give us a free dessert as we were celebrating a birthday that night. The food was good. Just wished the service was better.
Host was amazing and the waiters were pleasant. Food was good. Though I couldn’t believe an Italian restaurant did not have cinnamon for our delicious cappuccino. Overall, we had a fab tim.
Been there many times, never a bad meal. Excellent staff
It's one of my favorites in chelsea
Had a really great time, had a 12:30 bottomless brunch the Bellini was really good points to them for leaving the bottles with us and being attentive on when we needed a refill. I had the avocado Benedict but their home fries with what I think was marinara on them was outstanding. Definitely recommending it to friends.
Good ambiance and wine/food selection!
simply amazing. A MUST try. The ambiance is just so cool and the food was banging.
Delicious food great options. Highly recommend for dinner
Love coming here my favorite Italian spot
Good food good service good ambience.
Food was absolutely excellent, all the staff that my group encountered was very nice especially the front hostess. The restaurant itself was really beautiful and the brunch drinks were huge. I’m looking forward to coming back
3 of us had dinner last night. We had a delicious bottle of chilled Pinot Grigio. Shared yummy dishes- baked clams, meatballs, Caesar salad, chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and gnocchi. I also had a mule en rouge cocktail- very refreshing in the copper cup. We will be back!
Fantastic place! The servers were delightful and the food was delicious.
Lovely Italian restaurant on 9th Ave. Tables indoors and out. GREAT service. I’ve had the pasta, fish, all good. Reasonable prices to boot.
I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times at each of their location and have always enjoyed my dining experience
Everyone was friendly and attentive. They genuinely seemed to care. The manager checked in at our table a couple times and our waiter, Edison, was really great. Partner that with good food and value, I think this place deserves its success. Thanks!
Everything from the decor, ambiance, service, and food was impeccable. We had a amazing dinner and we will return!
We had lunch here and found that the service and food was outstanding. Highly recommended.
The service was excellent. Edison was a pleasure. As always the food was delicious. Try the lamb chops...
Food and service here is consistently good. Portions are enough but not overly generous. We were offered and a decent deal on a bottle of Malbec instead of by the glass. Kitchen went off menu for my wife who's vegan. That's appreciated. Its one of our go to's in the area.
I've been here 3 times now. While the food is good, the service is pretty bad. Each time, the servers have been rude and dismissive; and actually seem to get impatient if you don't know your order in the first 5 minutes. The bus staff appears to be unable to communicate at all in English. It's a shame because the restaurant itself is so nice.
Awesome. Pasta was great vibes were great wine was great.
For on the street dining it was a pleasant as possible and the staff was very attentive.
The food was great and the service was great as well. The food came on time.
The fried zucchini was amazing! The rest was good, but the service was a little slow.
Great brunch spot!
Great homemade pasta. Good, relaxed vibe. Service was very good but we came at a slow time (5:30 PM) and we had to flag down the waiter a couple times, bill was wrong (but they happily fixed it) and they forgot to bring a drink. I would highly recommend Bocca Di Bacco again.
Is there some of the best Italian food I've had in recent memory. The service was excellent too.
Great food and service. Dined outside
And perfect setting
I enjoyed myself. The food was delicious, great service. I’d definitely go again
