Bocca Di Bacco is a New York City Restaurant Group establishment from dynamic restaurateur and New York native Robert Malta, who owns nearly a dozen restaurants throughout the city. “I’ve been in the business 25 years,” Malta says. “I opened the first Bocca Di Bacco in Hell’s Kitchen in 2007 and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. The Chelsea location is an evolution of what we’ve been offering. There are new menu items, and a more refined look and feel, but it’s still a great spot for the neighborhood any night of the week.”

Service is the best. From MaitreD to waiter to buspeople, all excellent.
Food is great. Space is wonderful.
We have a lovely dinner. Beautiful outside area. Delicious cocktails snd good. Overall great night.
It was an amazing experience with watching movie and eating at the restaurant. Beautiful outdoor patio with flowers. Loved our food and staffs were very friendly as usual.
Had reservations early in the evening so it wasn't a madhouse like some places in the Meatdistrict can get. We weren't rushed through our meal which was nice and the service was attentive but not overbearing. The house kale salad was amazing as were the zucchini fries! Everyone really enjoyed their main entrée.
Relaxed atmosphere, very good food, moderately priced. The service was attentive. The zucchini frite was particularly good
Beautiful location, great food, nice ambiance. The movies outside were a plus!!
Great Italian food! Excellent service. A real find.
Fabulous food, service and ambiance as usual. My neighborhood go to Italian. Delicious cocktails
Our waitress was not very attentive or communicative. Anytime we asked the waitress a question she would just walk away without responding or speaking to us. We got the cheese board and there was mold on the cheese and bread, to make up for it they brought us calamari which neither of us eat and they left the cheese board on the bill. Our entrees were fine, but I wouldn’t run back there for a pretty average meal.
Delicious food and great service. Very noisy but that was due to a big party.
This is my to go place now, I love the new patio at the front and all other new renovations. Food is good as always. Staffs were very friendly and looks sharp. Highly recommended!!
Abby is always amazing and so helpful! Great brunch
Fabulous food and service! Can't wait to go back. Great addition to the neighborhood
There were definite issues with our dinner but the professional way our complaint was handled by management made it worth giving the place another try. Getting adequate help seems to be everyone’s problem these days Most of what we ordered was delicious and they make a killer jalapeño margarita.
Came for an early dinner and was sat right away by the hostess. Busboy immediately asked what type of water we wanted and brought us some nice fresh bread. Abby our server was very polite and took our order right away. The food was decent and I would come back again to this location. Overall a nice experience!
Bocca Di Bacco is our go to place, I was with my friend we had such a nice time. Their staffs are friendly and service is always good. Good to see they have new happy hour menu. Our waiter Sam was very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you for the great experience again. We will be back!!
Wonderful friendly service, and wonderful drinks and food!
not worth to go. the food was just ok and the service was awful!!! the services didnt seem happy to work and gave us attitude!
I was a solo diner and was treated very well. I really appreciated the service and the food was delicious.
Such a disappointing dinner on our wedding anniversary at one of our go to restaurants in Chelsea. Unfortunately it’ll be our last time. Service was painfully slow and food inedible.
This was our second time at the restaurant but first time at the Chelsea location. Safe to safe it was disappointing. The food was probably the worse Italian food I’ve ever had , probably even the worse food I’ve ever had period. The spaghetti lobster pasta dish was so bland and lacking flavor I had to send it back( first time ever doing that at a restaurant) for the carbonara which was just as bad. Took three spoonfuls and left it on the table. Neither dish had any taste to it whatsoever except for the taste of unseasoned butter. The waiter comped our drinks which was nice and appreciated but never once did a manager stop by or come over. Didn’t even see one walk around or greet any other tables. Safe to say it was the most disappointing meal I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your time here when there are countless better options.
Other than attentive waitstaff, the food was average with some of our dishes being okay and others being disappointing. The zucchini frites were excellent and the calamari crispy. The focaccia that came in the bread basket was absolutely terrible, stale and lacking flavor. The three pasta dishes we tried were well seasoned and tasted fine, however the lamb shank and breaded pork lacked flavor.
I've been to all the other locations but this one and let me tell you, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server (Mal) brought us over some delicious welcome drinks and he was very informative about the menu and offered some good recommendations. We loved the calamari and we had the fusilli and carbonara to share, very very good. Slight gripe was the bread but it didn't over shadow the experience.
Great atmosphere and great music. I'll be dining here many more times to come.
During the post pandemic we found this to be a good value and pleasant dining experience. Quality food and great service.
The service was great and our waiters were kind and enthusiastic. The food was average to good so it was a little expensive for the value, but they had a good menu and fun drinks and their outdoor dining was a plus. Overall great experience!
Had wonderful dinner food was awesome
My friend and I shared the fried zucchini appetiser, she had the branzino with mixed veggies - nice big potion, well seared and seasoned. I had the short ribs with mashed potatoes- very tender and flavourful with fluffy buttery mashed. We each had a cocktail we enjoyed. The service was great- very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be back as it never disappoints.
Great experience! The food was delicious and they sang beautifully for my friend’s birthday!
good food great location, amazing service, great bar
Good food & very good service. Definitely will go back!
Great food, we were met with welcome shots and lovely staff. The music was perf and the vibes were great
Would definitely dine here again!
I missed sitting at the bar and I'm so happy that this place has bar seating again. Just a great place to grab a drink after work and its not too loud so you feel like you can wind down after a work day. Food is just as good if not better and I will continue to visit.
Always a great experience, great food, and great service.
Great atmosphere inside and excellent service. Prices were reasonable and food was excellent. Overall would definitely return and plan to do so!! This review is for Chelsea location on 9th Avenue
Amazing food! Will be going back very soon!!
We sat outside and had a great dinner with really good food. We will continue to return.
Had a wonderful time at Bocca di Bacco! Food was yummy (the truffle fries are a yes) and the bottomless was fantastic — no need to ask for more as they leave the pitchers on the table (and are quick with the refills) and the staff are in no rush to hurry you out. Very attentive and accommodating service. And didn’t feel crowded with our lovely table outside. Will definitely be returning!
