Second time here and the food was great and friendly staff! Highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely be coming back again.
It’s just not good Vietnamese food and it’s overpriced for what it is, fail!
Love the awesome, fresh food and the amazing staff. Had a really special birthday celebration! We will keep on coming back!
very special Bo Bun，delicious omelette， and fresh coconut！
It was great! The vibe of the whole restaurant is very relaxed with a touch of funky. The food was pretty good, we got the shishito peppers, shrimp tempura, chicken satay bao bun and the classic pho (all of which was pretty good). The cocktails all sounded very interesting, however the ones we got were not very good (some drink with charcoal & lavender and another drink with rose in it).
The food was unremarkable and rather expensive. It was loud enough that it was difficult to hear our server's answer to our questions.
Really good vegan pho, will go back to try the other dishes. Best Vietnamese!
The best. Delicious and healthy! And one if my favourite places in NYC!!
Although the food was delicious, the place is so small and the noise level so deafening, we couldn't hear each other. We moved to the front bench which had a large open window facing the street and were able to talk.
Food was good. Not the best you can get in NYC for this food and price, but a decent spot to stop into.
The receptionist was extremely rude. She didn’t anticipate that I had a reservation.
Their first part of the cafe is not air-conditioned. I asked to be seated at the air conditioned area. She said “Look, I’m going to seat this 8-person group there. The only table for you I have is by the window (in an area with no air conditioning). Take it or leave it”.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for humidity of Thailand on a hot summer day in NYC.
A completely positive lunch experience. Good food, service, and ambiance.
Excellent food and nice variety of dishes to satisfy all tastes. The staff was friendly and always available. The lace is at a handy location and though small it still gives you sufficient space. Clean and tidy! Overall was a very pleasant experience
Very nice presentation
Not really great pho
I went here for dinner with a couple of friends. The food was great! We ordered taro fries to share and they were amazing! Two of us had phō, and one had a rice/noodle bowl. I am vegan, so I was happy to see options. I think the phō was enjoyed more than the rice/noodle bowl. Service was good for the most part... water was not refilled as diligently as one would have liked, and due to the orientation of the tables, it seemed a bit squishy for the waiters to serve the food. Also, sitting on the side of the table facing the street was very nice, as the windows were open and it was a nice days to watch people walk by. I’m not sure if it was so nice to face the inside, as the decor and number of tables make it seem busy and crowded.
On a warmer day, it would’ve been really nice to sit outside on the patio!
Food was great, but I would only go there solo and sit at the bar to eat.
My daughter and I went here imagining this as a good place for vegetarian offerings. We had a lovely time and the food was excellent. It's a really nice ambience as well.
Great services !!!
Great! Food was served in large portions and was tasty
Wow. Sooooooo good. The food here is amazing, the ambience is killer. What is there not to love. Oh and did I mention the prices are so worth it.
Food was good. portions size right. Server was perfectly good. I had a cucumber juice that was my favorite part! I would go back.
Very poor service. They forgot our order and we waited over an hour for our food. The waiter did not apologize and the manager didn't believe us when we said they forgot our food (even though the waiter had to come back and ask us what we ordered). When we finally got our food, portions were very small and I left hungry despite the expensive bill. Would not recommend.
Appealing, no-frills restaurant with off-beat decor and good, reasonably-priced drinks.
The food was not authentic and it was very loud. I felt like I had to yell at my friend for her to hear me. The service also wasn’t the greatest. They were very confused of where to seat me.
Great venue, great food and amazing service. We loved it! I recommend trying the avocado chocolate mousse for dessert, it was delicious.
Food was not nice at all, we were with a group of 4 and we all ordered different dishes. We were all disappointed. Flavouring was off. Was very expensive for what it is. Went home needing an extra dinner but couldn't get one because of how much we spent at this place! Wine was also not good, we tasted all three red wine options and went with the least disgusting one, but still not satisfied.
It’s a cute spot! Really like the pho and dessert. Though the food came very slow
Delicious food (best part is that it’s healthy too) and very nice staff! A must-go in Soho!
Cute Drinks were delicious, but couldn
This little and cozy place is great for a dinner for two as well as for friends get together; the cuisine is delicious ( try the beef and lemongrass noodles!), well presented and the service is friendly and enthusiast. I really recommend it
I love bocaphe for the food but every time I go I’m reminded of how awful the service is. We didn’t get sat until 45 minutes after our reservation time. Then it took upwards of 30 minutes to get water for the table and our drinks and have our order taken. The staff is so disorganized. Would recommend more for a takeout option.
Great Pho. As good as Saigon! This place is a gem.
We over heard the bar tender talking about how sick he was with the flu and then complain that the bathroom sink doesn’t work so they had to use hand sanitizer instead. Food was good, service was good, just nervous about cleanliness.
Good, solid , fair priced Vietnamese with friendly service, dope music , and a nice vibe !
This place was an awesome surprise! I was searching for a great healthy option for dinner and ended up very happy.
Tried the caramelized beef bao (tremendous), the spicy thai cucumbers (also excellent) and then shared a beef truffle bowl on zucchini noodles. It was so good it made me forget I was being healthy! Would've loved a little less cilantro, but otherwise the meal was fantastic. Tried a nice Vietnamese coffee to finish it out, which was not my favorite, but a neat experience. They brew it right in front of you into a little pot of condensed milk.
Also, shoutout to our server -- didn't catch his name, but he was also tending bar, who was so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!
The place is super cool, the main courses are very good, Jeremy, the owner, is super cool and extremely friendly. A lot of fun!
What a gem of a find!!!!
The food was very, very good but the service was not great. I don't think they check their OpenTable reservations because we weren't on the list when we got there and host tried to sit us at the counter even though there were open tables. Eventually after some confusion we were seated at a table. We ordered an appetizer, drinks, and dinner. The food was really good but my cocktail never came. Waiter didn't come back or remember cocktail until we were finished eating and by that point we were ready for the check. Would definitely come back but would call to make a reservation next time.
