We sat outside near the fireplace which was very warm. They also turned on a heater located directly above our table. Very comfortable. Salad was great. The ribeye was fantastic. Four signature sauces come with the steak. I definitely recommend

My husband and I enjoyed our Valentine's dinner (salmon & hanger steak). There was a good crowd but we chose the Parma room because it is quieter and more intimate than the main dining area. We were sad to see that the cow pictures have been removed from the Parma room.

Get the steak! I'm from the Midwest and know good steak. It's the best. Don't drink much so I can't attest to the drink menu, but my husband likes the Chamey beer.

This was a fabulous restaurant that I went to. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The food was terrific I had oysters and filet mignon cooked to perfection! Tuesday night is 50% off of all wine bottles. What a bonus! I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back again when I'm in the area.

Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes and the food was on point. Not a single bite left untouched. Just when we thought the round was over, our server, Haleigh, mentioned that the restaurant has gifted us with complimentary desserts as a way to thank my brother for his military service. We were all touched with their gesture, which made the meal even more memorable.

Manager Brian is young, energic, very attentive to each guest. Very enjoyable evening. For a quieter, intimate experience preference the lower level.

Baby carrier behind me from large table, very loud group, child only screamed a couple of times & they left very shortly. The crew is always very nice there. Esp.our wait person who was working although expecting! It really is the only decent place to eat in Novato. We appreciate their hard work & commitment.

This was my second time here. There were 5 of us and we all look me very different food. Everyone found something they liked and we're happy with their food. Our cocktails were a little water down, but other than that very good.

Very nice neighborhood place. Seated next to the kitchen with door to the patio open ( during winter). Very cool Air was blowing on my which was very uncomfortable. Waitress was super but it was too loud to converse with my family.

Birthday. Enjoyed a flavorful New York steak that was cooked to perfection over a wood-fired grill - charred on the outside, with a perfect medium rare interior. Great, friendly and efficient service.

I’ve got to go back! There were so many great things on the menu! I had Gamba (shrimp) in a delicious sauce and Mussels in a delightful Harissa sauce. But there was so much more to try!

First time at Boca Tavern and truly enjoyed it. The GM Brian was extremely friendly and stopped by several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that the food met our expectations. Overall experience was excellent and would recommend it for a great date night or a get together with friends. We sat in the outdoor patio area with the heaters and it was quite comfortable, but definitely will be back for the bar and Happy Hour as it looked like al lot of fun as well.

We have dined at Boca many, many times. This was a particularly memorable meal. $1 oysters (Wed.) were delicious and a great deal. We enjoyed an excellent, well prepared extra large pork chop and perfectly char-grilled hanger steak. The always-good grilled Mary’s chicken was also a hit. Our server was a delight and made the whole meal a very special experience. She even offered “half pours” of wine, when she noticed we might want a bit more, but not a full glass. She was really on top of it and very thoughtful throughout the evening. We’re looking forward to our next trip up to Boca Tavern !

Beet salad was excellent...beautifully presented. My skirt steak/gargonzola mashed potatoes and grilled cauliflower was excellent. My husband’s red snapper Was rather tasteless. He had to ask for lemon as none was offered, and that which was presented was not fresh lemon...it came off the grill.

Always exceptional service and knowledgeable staff. Must start with appetizers! Best steaks this side of the Golden Gate! Sit in bar for livelier ambiance or dine in quieter setting in main dining room. Always enjoy my Boca night!

This was my first time to Boca. Everyone's meal was delicious and the service was good. Stick to the beer and wine, the drinks were just okay (really light pours)

Great food and great service aside from the girl who took us to our table, she seems to hate her job. I was with my parents who have a bit of a hard time hearing so before sitting asked her if we could find somewhere quieter to sit, it was a bit loud. She seemed unwilling to do it but took us back up to the front where the woman managing seating and the computer was very helpful and found us a different table to sit at that was much quieter. From that point on the rest of the evening was great - quick service, awesome appetizers, amazing food, and an even better dessert.

I've been to this restaurant about 3 or 4 times for lunch (a convenient location for me from Oakkland to meet my friend in Santa Rosa). While I know they specialize in wood-grilled meat, I ALWAYS have their grilled salmon (as filet or on salad). Their salmon is the BEST ever! I'd love to try one of their steaks sometime, but I can't get away from the delicious salmon.
