We all had a great time.
We were running late for our reservation and called to let them know so they were still able to accommodate us.
Very welcoming - from our puppy to children we were all taken care of.
Food was very tasty and our server Allison really lovely.
We will be back!
Met a friend from out of town for lunch. Perfect!!
$70 for bottomless Bloody Mary, eggs with sausage and a frittata. Food was average at best.
Great service and great food. There was a huge variety to choose from and everything is locally sourced. It took a while for our food to come out but that's to be expected at any restaurant on a busy Friday night. Everyone was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We had the shrimp and grits, steak and veg, and zucchini fries. The basil lemonade ($14!?!) and the Moscow mule were also amazing. YUM! We will DEFINITELY be back, well worth the drive from Clearwater to Tampa.
It was all good, but the apple cobbler dessert could have been improved. The apples were warm but still very crunchy, the topping was a very thin dusting rather than a nice layer of crumble.
Zucchini fries are excellent!
Highly recommend. Food is excellent, friendly service.
The food was over priced for what you get. We ordered the OMG burger - it was way over done and very plain. We ordered the fried green tomatoes for an app - they never came. We mentioned it to our server and he did get them out right away after our meal was given to us but they were messy looking and didn’t taste great and were not hot all the way through. The gnocchi was good - best thing we had.
Food was very good. Loved the fried green Tomatoes. Only thing that was 100% percent was the dessert. The bread pudding as a bit dry. But everything else from the appetizer, the entrees and the espresso was very good.
They had some issues with the lighting (a bit dark), but it didn't take away from the overall experience and i would recommend this place.
Our first visit to Boca and I’m sure we’ll return. We sat on the patio - it was like hanging on a friend’s back porch. We shared the cauliflower flatbread. Nice thin crust and just a hint of spice. For entrees we had the shrimp and grits and the skirt steak. Both were good but the skirt steak had an awesome presentation. Service was exceptional.
Service was lacking on Valentine's Day...my wife, daughter and I went for dinner and the hostess asked us upon check-in (6:15pm reservations) if we would be done dining in 1.5 hours because of other groups on the patio? Took about 15 minutes for the server to acknowledge us and the patio wasn't even busy. Rude and slow service is not a good combo for a special evening or a return visit to Boca.
Made reservations for brunch, but upon arrival was informed that they only serve brunch on the weekends, so that was disappointing. We also noted in our reservation that it was an anniversary but that was ignored by the staff. The sandwiches were decent and our server was kind, but other servers decided to cluster in front of our table to hang out and talk about their weekends which put a damper on the experience.
Not my first time here - always a great meal with an eclectic menu.
It was catch-up Sunday with a good friend. As always the service - from the valet, to the hostess, to the bar to our waiter - was a great experience! Boca is one of the first places I went to when I first arrived in Tampa almost 6 years ago...and still remains on the top of my list as the best place to go in Tampa...for any occasion. Thank you Boca for being you every time!
The noise level was very annoying, we were shouting most of the time until it had cleared out some. That was the major discouraging factor in our minds.
This spot was such a great find! Our meals were delicious and locally sourced and the atmosphere was perfect.
