Prime Filet Mignon
Australian Rack of Lamb
Bar patrons were depressed know-it-alls wanting to critique my whiskey selection. Once seated for dinner, we had to ask for Wine List 3 times. Prime Rib wasn’t any better than a Costco Prime over a Traeger. Despite social distancing tables setup, another loud-mouth club member talked over everyone within 3 tables of his blowhole to ruin everyone’s night. The grounds are impeccable though.
Beautiful location, exceptional food and outstanding service!
Tucson has many well known steakhouses, but none compare to Bobs. Everyones taste buds are different, but along with the food, there is also the atmosphere, staff and views. If you've never been to Bobs, give it a chance. You'll be glad you did.
Our favorite place when we want to splurge a little.
If you love good steak this place is a must try. Excellent food.
We loved sitting on the patio overlooking the golf course! Beautiful. Food and Drinks were amazing as always. Halibut special-loved the sauce that they put on it, also had the smashed potates and aspargus ( perfectly cooked!). New York steak- cooked to perfection also had a blue cheese sauce- yum!, huge famous glazed carrot and baked potatoe with all the toppings! Absolutely delightful! Drinks were plentiful- enjoyed the wine and cocktails.
I ordered the 18oz ribeye and the cut that was served was one of the toughest pieces of meat I’ve ever had. I had it cooked to a Medium Rare plus. The temp of the meat was correct but the meat itself was terrible. Had this been a Texas Roadhouse or even an Outback I would’ve just chalked it up to luck of the draw. But if I’m paying over $60 for a cut it better melt in my mouth. I’ll be going elsewhere for my next steak.
Dinner at Bob's during the pandemic was a special treat. We had a patio table that made us feel transported to another place and time. The service could not have been better; the manager even stopped by to make sure we were comfortable. The food was outstanding! Everything we heard about the calamari, smashed potatoes, steaks, crab cakes, and carrot cake lived up to its stellar reputation. Great wine list and wines by glass. Could not recommend Bob's more highly!
Best meal we've had in ages. We asked for a nice quiet table for 4 of us and they put us in a separate room. Was very nice and quiet and felt comfortable in this setting. Excellent service and food was fantastic. Always try to do dinner at Bob's when we make it to Tucson.
Excellent!! Our favorite steakhouse in Tucson
Every time we have gone to Bob's we have had a good meal and good service.
We had a table of 5 for dinner with cocktails and exceptional service from out waitress Kathleen. All meals were prepared as requested.
Our server was outstanding and the food was excellent. I don't know what they did to those sauteed mushrooms but they were off the charts. The wine list was extensive and we picked out an nice bottle. Ambiance was very nice with a view of the golf coarse. The rib-eye was cooked to perfection. I would go back again.
Due to the pandemic- we haven't been frequenting restraunts nearly as often- but Bob's is our all time favorite- never disappoints. Starting out with a smoked old fashion and a plentiful plate of perfect calamari- was a delight! I had the Halibit fish special- served with smashed potatoes and asparagus- simply delicious. My Husband had the pork tomahawk- his favorite dish and it didn't disappoint. Friends had a a steak filet. As an after dinner refresment we also tried several whiskeys-( forgive me on spellings)- whistlepig, crackened, and delmore. Delmore- was the favorite of the table. Delightful evening.
Wonderful dinner! Had a beautiful table with a view as the host said "just because you're by yourself doesn't mean you get a bad table!" Great service. Delicious food. Relaxing vibe.
Peter did a phenomenal job helping arrange a 50th birthday party. He really went out of his way to make it special!
Go there bc hubby loves the lamb chops with mint jelly.
What a lovely way to enjoy an amazing quality steak dinner, in a coronavirus careful way! We were able to make reservations via Open Table which was nice and we normally do not venture this far west from our home in Vail but we wanted a nice dinner and we wanted steak.
Located in a beautiful area on the west side, sitting at the edge of a golf course we were immediately impressed with Bob's and the protocols they had in place during the pandemic. Tables well spaced apart, and servers wearing masks the ambiance was that of a quality top notch steak house.
There were four of us, we opted for indoor seating but they did appear to have outdoor seating as well. We started with the calamari and onion rings (half order). WOW. I am a die hard onion ring fanatic and these were so good. I am not a calamari fan like the rest of the table but I did try a piece or two and was shocked at how tasty and delicious it was. Just the right amount of seasoning in the light coating. We all had steaks, 2 of us had the 9 oz filet, 1 the NY strip and 1 the rib eye. All were cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. The carrot was divine and the potatoes heavenly. I went with the smashed potatoes but tried the skillet potatoes which were incredibly delicious. While we all had enough food left over for another meal and asked for some boxes, we went with our server Jessica's recommendation of the carrot cake. It was so good (she told us a bakery makes all of their desserts), and we took almost the whole thing home as it was gargantuan.
From service to atmosphere to food it was 90 minutes of culinary escapism from 2020.
Colleen has been our server for over 8 years and she’s professional, personable, and attentive. She works hard to please her guests and is very knowledgeable regarding menu choices. The food was excellent and the service Is top notch. Peter, the manager, is courteous, prompt with his care of guests, and he insures guests are comfortable and satisfied. This is an excellent place to enjoy a quiet evening with a special person or to celebrate a special occasion.
Dinner was fantastic as always and our server was wonderful.
I took my wife there for her birthday...
It was our first time there.
We had a great time and the filets we had were to die for...
We ordered the special menu which included a salad or soup, entre', and dessert.
We will definitely be back!
I am a salt person but Everything was too salty for me
Outstanding food and excellent service! Returning soon
Very good experience. Our waitress was exceptional and the food was very good. I would have no reservation to return again in the future should I be in the Tucson area.
There was a group celebrating a birthday that were noisy. Other than that everything was fine.
Had supper at Bob's for our 43rd Anniversary. It was our first time to eat there and we were both pleasantly surprised. It was very cozy and nice for our special night. The food and wine were excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make our night even more special.
Love this place. Always good with a beautiful view.
Wonderful food. Great service, superb social distancing.
It was so wonderful to go to a restaurant that had the regular whole menu available !! Instead of some "cut down" virus menu. We were lucky, we had Colleen as our server, and she is the best! Martini's arrived ice cold, a regular wine list...a VERY nice night!
We were celebrating how proud I am of my wife and her work as a realtor. We like to try new places to eat a few times a month. We’ve both lived in Tucson for decades but have never been to Bob’s! So we made a date to come here, and we left amazed with the food! We started with the scallops appetizer, it melted in our mouths. The mixed greens salad was fantastic with a champagne vinaigrette, apples, spicy pecans, and our favorite cheese-goat. Perfect! Australian Rack of Lamb was our entree and the knife just slid through the meat. Scrumptious and just the right amount. Highly recommended!
My first experience with this restaurant and I definitely will be back again. Host was most gracious to my needs and service staff was first class. Considering current events this restaurant went out of it's way to provide a memorable experience. Complements went to both the kitchen and bar for meal and cocktails. Recommend to other open table members.
This visit was a disappointment from our previous visit a few weeks ago. The food was definitely smaller portions for the same price. The service was slow. There were out of baked potatoes!
Everyone did a nice job taking care of us.
As usual Peter and his Team were top notch!
Love going to Bob’s!
Very nice. Not as good as previous visit but that was before Covid.
Bob’s has some of the absolute best steaks in Tucson. The views are beautiful and the staff is very responsive.
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. Looking forward to going again.
The steaks are outstanding and what makes the meal a great value, is that the baked potato and huge glazed carrot are included! The service was flawless. Best steak house ever!
Fantastic food and great service
Food was fantastic, large portions which you can split without an annoying service charge. Service was outstanding.
